Ding Jiayi believed that the day would come. She also believed that it would come very soon.
“Mom, don’t worry. I understand. I have the same sentiments.” Qiao Zijin nodded. “Therefore, before Zhai Sheng divorces her and we are still in-laws, I will think of ways to benefit from their relationship.”
Qiao Nan did not know or care to know what Ding Jiayi and Qiao Zijin were thinking about.

Qiao Dongliang, who barely had any sleep, looked at the clock that said it was four o’clock in the morning. He sat up from the bed, put on his clothes, and rode his bicycle to the Zhu family’s residence.

Shi Peng knew the reason why his wife disliked Qiao Nan.

“I won’t get down the car and I won’t go back as well.” Feng Cheng closed the door shut. “Fine, I will not throw any tantrums or make any comments. Will that do?”
Feng Cheng behaved herself after seeing that Shi Peng was angry with her.
One of them was her husband while the other was her daughter. It was not worth it to affect her relationship with them because of an outsider. She was not that stupid.
Feng Cheng sighed. Had she known this would happen, back when Shi Peng arranged for her to leave Mo Du to go back to her parental family, she should not have followed his arrangements to go to the capital just because she missed her parental family.
If she gave up everything and went to Ping Cheng to stay with Shi Peng and Qing Qing, all these would not have happened and they would not have been so close with Qiao Nan.
During the years that she was away, it was Qiao Nan who was with Shi Peng and Shi Qing.
Feng Cheng felt that it was her fault that Qiao Nan was able to take advantage of her absence to be close to her husband and her daughter.

Feng Cheng knew that her parental family wanted to be on good terms with the Zhai family.
