Chapter 572: Upgrading the Jade Bracelet

After Chi Shuyan got out of the car, she had the man drive off first. Qi Zhenbai didn’t move, and only said, “Go in first; I’ll leave after that!”
Chi Shuyan didn’t think much of it and turned around to go back. As she walked, however, she felt a scorching gaze behind her. Chi Shuyan turned her head and saw the man in the car staring at her with hooded eyes.
Chi Shuyan took a few more steps. When she secretly turned her head, she saw that the man was still staring at her.
Chi Shuyan couldn’t help but grumble in her heart. They were only separating for a while, and would see each other again in the evening. Why was he making it seem like they were parting forever?
She went inside the building and lingered for a while before she popped back out. When she saw that the man’s car had left, she sighed with relief.
When she returned to the apartment, Chi Shuyan first went to her room and took out the box of bracelets which Assistant Zhu had brought over before.
She first picked up an ordinary high-grade jade bracelet, circulated her spiritual energy, and tried to send it into the bracelet.
