Chapter 1117: Ghost Substitute, The Talismans Are Useful
The group of people were panicking and only thinking about running away. At that moment, except for Xiao Ningjin, a few of them finally reacted. Wei Panyang was still half-dead from his head being pressed into the water by that ghost thing.
They looked at the washroom and saw the warped, blotchy, ugly face grinning maliciously at them. They then looked at Wei Panyang’s half-dead face, and their hearts turned cold. They panicked and trembled all over.

“Holy sh*t! Run!” Chang Hao and Xiong Luoying screamed, and the two of them along with Shi Ran took off at once. As soon as they ran, Jiang Duo and Xiao Ningjin could only follow.
But this private room was only so big. Unless they opened the door, where could they run to?
As they ran, the thing chased after them, laughing and singing. They were so scared that they were practically ready to jump off the balcony from the 20th floor. They were so high up, however, so no one dared to do so. As they ran, they cried bitterly and shouted for help on the balcony. They screamed themselves hoarse, but there was no response at all. Seeing that the ghost thing was catching up, they didn’t dare waste their strength and ran desperately.
“Shi Ran!” Jiang Duo suddenly screamed. Everyone looked over and saw that the thing had forced Shi Ran into one corner of the balcony. He was dead for sure.
Obviously, the group realized that the ghost thing seemed to be very vengeful and had been chasing Shi Ran most of the time.
Xiao Ningjin wanted to lure the ghost thing into chasing him, but the thing gave him a creepy look before its gaze rested on a deathly pale Shi Ran, who was about to collapse on the floor. It smiled broadly. “I caught you!”
Shi Ran was cold and horrified at the sight of the bloated, ugly ghost thing. He pressed up against the wall and trembled in horror. “No! No! No…”
“I caught you! I caught you!”
Shi Ran’s legs trembled. Seeing the thing walk toward him, the blood rushed into his head. Without thinking, he turned around and wanted to jump off the hotel balcony.
“Shi Ran!” Xiao Ningjin choked with sobs and roared.
The ghost thing, on the other hand, was a step faster. Before Shi Ran could jump, it suddenly grabbed his neck, and it opened its mouth wide in extreme delight and malevolence. “I caught you! I finally caught you!”
Xiao Ningjin and the others heaved sighs of relief when they saw that Shi Ran hadn’t jumped. In the blink of an eye, a sharp dagger appeared in the thing’s hand at some point, and it suddenly stabbed Shi Ran. “Who said you could run? Who said you could run?!”
Shi Ran screamed, but the ghost thing didn’t stop. It stabbed the same spot more than a dozen times in a row.
Bright red blood splattered all over its face.
The ghost thing licked the blood, and blood flowed like a river on the floor. Smelling the blood, the thing went crazy with malevolence and excitement. It continued to stab a few more times until Shi Ran’s screams grew weaker and weaker, and he finally stopped making any sound.
When Xiao Ningjin and the others saw Shi Ran lying in a pool of blood with his eyes wide open, their eyes turned red with disbelief and horror. They then saw the thing walk toward them with the sharp, bloody dagger.
The group finally realized how savage this thing was. They panicked and staggered back, their faces incomparably terrified.
Xiong Luoying and Chang Hao swallowed their saliva and couldn’t even speak. Their fingers twitched. Xiong Luoying pulled at his hair and cried, “What should we do? What should we do? Ningjin, Ah Duo, are we going to die? Are we going to die here tonight?! No one can escape?”
These proud “sons of heaven” usually led sheltered lives and had never seen such a cruel and hair-raising scene. As long as they looked at the lifeless Shi Ran in the pool of blood on the floor, their bodies would turn cold from head to toe.

Xiao Ningjin turned his head and saw black smoke suddenly rise from Fang Yinglong’s body.
