Chapter 1008: The Ren Family
Chi Shuyan thought that the other party was probably looking for her because of what had just happened, and she subconsciously looked at the man next to her. Qi Zhenbai nodded and was about to take her away, when Commissar Shen’s complicated and weak thank you came from behind them.
Chi Shuyan paused and looked at Commissar Shen’s hunched figure. For a moment, her expression was a bit complicated. Shen Rongyin’s fate was a result of nothing more than greed and self-inflicted disaster.
