Chapter 10: The first beginning of an end

A very, very long time had seemingly went by. He had been in hibernation for a very very long time, yet, it seemed to be merely just a moment of time.
Linze's entire body gradually felt the warm rays of the sun.
That sensation of warmness dragged Linze out from within the darkness.
ćH, Help.......ć
Linze suddenly sat up from bed, and after sitting up his first reaction was that his entire body was shaking.
Even though the sunlight which shot past the curtains filtering into the room felt extremely soothing, Linze still felt his entire body giving off chills.
Cautiously looking at his surroundings, Linze noticed that this place seemed to be a place that he couldn't be even more familiar with, and that would be his room.
And he right now was sitting on that bed of his.
Just like he had suddenly remembered onto something, Linze stretched out his hands wrapping around his arms, and had himself shrunk on his bed. His entire body was simply out of his control as he trembled.
With trembling hands, Linze hastily felt his hands over his neck and stomach.
Seemingly as if he's fearful of losing something vital, Linze softly caressed over these two areas.
No scars nor bloody punctures around.
His head wasn't sliced off, plus there weren't any stab wound present on his stomach either.
After he had finished caressing, Linze placed both of his hands right before his eyes; there weren't any traces of blood on his palms.
Feeling onto these, Linze had his worries slightly put down.
Don't tell me that all of it earlier is just a dream, Linze uncontrollably questioned himself.
But very quickly, Linze placed all of that back to the ends of his mind.
A dream huh........
If it's a dream, that's that excellent.
Currently Linze felt his eyes moisting up, as tears trickled down his cheeks and landed on the bedding as large droplets.
Although tears dripped out of his eyes, the current Linze had his mouth bent upwards smiling at an eerie angle.
His current expression was extremely bizarre, it would make one feel a rather bone-chilling sensation as well.
Linze who kept maintaining that sort of expression dumbly sat on his bed for a very long time, before finally becoming determined to use his both hands to firmly slap on his cheeks, just like he had wanted to smack himself awake, as Linze heavily and repeatedly slapped his cheeks.
All the way till he had slapped his cheeks bright red, before Linze finally and seemingly regained his vigor.
Using his left forearm to wipe away his tears, Linze thereafter loudly yelled.

After loudly screaming, Linze felt himself to be seemingly way much better.
ćHeh heh heh.......ć
Unbeknownst why, Linze gave off an exuberant laugh and fell onto his bed.
Perhaps its due to him having woken up and cried, for Linze felt that he's a little thirsty.
As the cup was incidentally on his computer desk, Linze thus came down from his bed and went to his computer desk grabbing his cup of water.
After skillfully prying open the cup lid, Linze drank the clear water inside with huge mouthfuls.
Clear water moisturized Linze's throat and lips, but he had just drank a mouthful when the cup in his hands automatically slid off from his grip and split all over his computer desk.
Linze was like as if he had seen something extremely terrifying, as his entire body leaned backwards on his computer desk.
Due to the abrupt impact, the cup on the desk dropped onto the floor.
Within Linze's vision, there's a small bag placed by his bedside.
If Linze didn't remember it wrongly, that bag would be belonging to Xu Yanyan, but didn't he recall that he had placed that bag in the living room already.
No, that's not right.......
Linze suddenly felt his head turning extremely muddled.
There's something seemingly not right, Linze told himself that.
What day is it today, when was it exactly that my dream begun.
Linze who thought onto these questions hurriedly took large strides over to his bedside, and picked up his phone laid by the pillow side.
Looking at the indicated time through the screen of his smartphone, it was a time that Linze would have never expected.
It's a Sunday today, and the time right now, if he hadn't remembered it wrongly, was the time that his father and younger sister had left just not long ago.
Don't tell me that I've made a dream that lasted 3 days just now.......
That's not right, he had just personally sent his sister and father off, and even if he had blearily slept again for awhile, he shouldn't have felt such lengthy sensations of time's passing.
But this bag which was the exact same as from his dream, what exactly was going on too.
Linze felt that his head had suddenly become extremely cluttered, with his thinking completely having no indication at all.
Suddenly Linze heard the doorbell of his house ring. Because of that doorbell sound, Linze felt that he's even more vexed as a result.
Who exactly is that person.
But no matter how vexed he was, Linze still stood up from his bed, and followed the second floor's stairs down to the first floor's porch.
After a slight hesitation, Linze stretched his hands outwards and opened the door of his home.
Right in front of him appeared a cute girl, which made the entire of Linze's body give off an abrupt shudder, followed by Linze next feeling his legs unbeknownst why turning to mush, as he sat onto the ground in an unkempt manner.
Xu Yanyan who was outside of the doors upon seeing Linze unkemptly sitting down, instantaneously rushed towards Linze hastily.
ćBig brother Linze, are you alright. Are you not feeling well.ć
While Xu Yanyan was saying that, she had hurriedly arrived by Linze's sides.
Perhaps she had suspected Linze to be having a fever, for a hasty Xu Yanyan wanted to place her left palm on Linze's forehead.
But Linze used his hand to roughly smack away Xu Yanyan's hand.
ćDon't touch me.......ć
Linze roared, his voice extremely shrill.
ćBig brother Linze, what exactly happened to you already.ć
Seeing Xu Yanyan still standing in front of him, Linze instantly stretched out his hands to heavily push away her tummy.
ćAh.......ć
Perhaps Xu Yanyan had completely not expected Linze to be treating her like that, for she was heavily pushed by Linze onto the wall behind her.
Maybe it was due to her tummy being too forcefully pushed by Linze, for Xu Yanyan clutched onto her stomach with both hands, giving off a soft painful moan.
