When they got home, Xu Menggui had a maid change her clothes.
The family doctor came over, prescribed medicine and gave an injection, and waited until the fever subsided before leaving.

As though nothing had happened, he walked over to the bedside and poured a glass of water. “You have a fever. The doctor said you need to drink more water.”
He handed her the water.
But Bai Weiwei looked at him coldly. “Are you deaf? This is my house, and you are not welcome. Can you get out?”
Xu Menggui didn’t make a sound and only continued to hold out the water, his dark eyes watching her.
Bai Weiwei was very weak. After yelling twice, her voice was already not as strong as she’d wanted it to be.
Xu Menggui repeated, “Drink water.”
Bai Weiwei had nothing more to say. “Leave.”
Xu Menggui stared at her fixedly, silent for several seconds. Abruptly, he slammed the glass of water down next to him.
Bai Weiwei was shocked. Before she could react.
Xu Menggui had already lowered his head, forcefully grabbing her by the hands, and pulled her into his fierce embrace.
Bai Weiwei was frightened and irritated. “Xu Menggui, did you go crazy… wu-.”
Her lips were captured, and all her furious words were swallowed up.
He tightly clasped her body and kissed her forcefully. His aggressive kiss was like a large, brutal beast biting into its prey, fierce and unrelenting.

Bai Weiwei looked at him in shock. Without thinking, she shot out a hand and struck him in the face. She broke away from his embrace and shrank into the bed, a look of fear on her face.
