Chapter 235
The old doctor writes a prescription and asks a servant to get all the medicine back .
Then, he goes to Lv Zhu .
Lv Zhu tells him what she told the other two a while ago .
Huo Jun simply gives an order: “Take the Fourth and Fifth Miss here . ”
He doesn’t know for sure if the two girls have anything to do with what happened to Ah Zhao . However, undeniably, both are suspicious .
The old doctor cares in particular about the aromatic knots and scented tea that Lv Zhu mentioned .
Lv Zhu glances at Huo Jun and brings that basket .
Opening a tin of the scented tea, the old doctor looks carefully at it and then smells it .
After that, he picks up the two knots, examines them and smells them .
“These are good for the nerves . No problem at all . ” He concludes .
The young doctor, however, is suspicious . “How do you know what they are by simply looking at them? I think we’ll have a more accurate result after a lab test . . . ”
The old doctor gives him a glance and sounds a bit proud: “Young man, the heritage of our ancestors isn't as bad as you think it is . Everything else aside, though I’m dim-sighted from old age, if I claim that I’m second best at identifying medicine, nobody dares to say he is the best . ”
Huo Wan Wan and Huo Xian Xian arrive around the same time .
Worried, Huo Wan Wan asks the first thing she is here: “Sister-in-law is ill? How come? She was well when I came this morning . . . ”

The doctor recalls the knot at Ah Zhao's bedside when he was taking her pulses and its faintly familiar scent .
With a sudden insight, he says: “Go! Get me that knot at My Lady’s bedside!”

At that, Lv Zhu acts immediately . She goes to Ah Zhao's room and brings him the knot .
Holding the knot, the old doctor can smell that scent without putting it under his nose .
“Lily, glaze flower, dayflower . . . ” Smelling carefully, he suddenly opens his eyes . “I see!”
He turns to Lv Zhu: “I remember you said that this knot and the other ones came from the same person, right?”
Lv Zhu pauses for a second and nods .
The doctor strokes his beard and sighs: “It seems your Sixth Lady knows medicine as well . ”

Huo Jun nods and goes to the study with him .
Biting her lips, Huo Xian Xian watches them leave and then looks at the knots that are put away carefully by the maids . All of a sudden, she feels very unsettled .

When Huo Jun and the old doctor come back from the study in grave expressions, Lv Zhu has given Ah Zhao her first bowl of medicine soup .
Huo Jun speaks politely to the old doctor: “Please stay here for the following few days, sir . ”
The old doctor is reluctant at first until Huo Jun says: “If you don't want to, I have no choice but to send for you in a car . Or do you prefer a horse, sir?”
