Gu Shengyin twisted her body around to shoot a bolt of Light magic at a demon who tried to attack her from behind.

It silently took back the words it just said and went to hide in the corner to pretend to be dead.
Gu Shengyin: …..I’ve known you for so long, but you turned out to be such a(n unreliable) system!
They were fighting at the base camp of the Dark. The two realized that there were more and more demons coming as they fought. They could not go on like this.
The two looked at each other and began retreating as they fought.
Their location was clearly the ravaged lands the God of the Light had exiled the Dark to, ten thousand years ago, separated from the Aoqi continent by the infinite abyss.
It was unknown what method the Dark used in order to cross the infinite abyss and reach the Aoqi mainland. The two of them had no way of returning to the Aoqi continent.
Two days later.
Gu Shengyin was already close to exhaustion.
Carlos’s face was still calm, showing no weakness. However, Gu Shengyin knew that his condition was not much better than hers.
Before them is an endless army of the Dark, behind them is the endless abyss of despair.
The high-ranking demons watched them with amusement, as if they were watching two rabbits that had fallen into their trap.
Gu Shengyin knew that they were playing around with them.
This whole time, none of the high-ranking demons had made a move on them. Instead, waves of low-ranking demons had sacrificed their lives to force them into such a desperate situation.
Gu Shengyin no longer knew how many demons had died at her hands.
“You two, this is the end of the line for you. Just obediently follow me now. Speaking of which, you two are quite lucky to be able to witness the resurrection of our Great God.” The demons were not worried at all about the two fighting back.
The ravaged lands had no Light magic at all. The two humans had no way of replenishing their bodies’ power.
“Resurrection of Diablo?” Gu Shengyin smiled coldly, “The Light God is omnipotent, your goal will never be realized!”
Carlos looked at Gu Shengyin with a complicated look, he never expected that, at such a moment, her faith in the God of Light was still so firm.
"Omnipotent?" The demon sneered. "If your god really was omnipotent, then why have you fallen into such a situation at this time?"
Gu Shengyin responded with disdain: “Don’t try to shake my faith with these useless words.”
She glanced at Carlos and suddenly said, “My scepter still has some light power. I will try to use it to tear the space later. You must take the opportunity to leave, if you can return to the Aoqi continent, be sure to tell the Holy Church about this. For the rest… everything is up to the heavens.”
Carlos looked emotional. “What about you?”
Gu Shengyin smiled but did not speak. The scepter in her hand began shining, and the strong Light power forced the approaching demons to retreat.
“This is… divine power?” The high-level demon’s face changed.
The powerful Light magic tore a rift in the space of the ravaged land.
“Go quickly!” Gu Shengyin urged.
Carlos did not move, but looked at her deeply: “Once I am gone, what will you do?”
Gu Shengyin: “In my current state, I can’t hold the rift open while in it. You can rest assured that I have the ability to protect myself.”
Carlos did not believe her at all.
Both of them have been forced to this point, if she had the ability to protect herself, why would she wait until now to reveal it?
