The wave of the fiery explosion broke the wolf’s jaw, its skull severely deformed as flames started to engulf its fur. The remainder of the fire rushed into its lungs and its guts, making its belly bloat so big as if it was going to explode at any moment.

Another loud explosion suddenly went off, as its belly exploded and the dark magic wolf lay on the ground as the licking fire grilled it inside and outside in front of Bai Yang.
Bai Yang’s grinning face froze as his mood took a sudden gloomy and horrible turn… The previous summon he had was of a superior breed and could have develop into a very powerful summon but it was accidentally killed by a student!? If the previous death would be by luck, this time his summon was immediately killed by two powerful elementary spells!
“I admit that you’re different from those jaded and naive students who would froze in their shock, probably even better than some of the old hunters! But you will still have to die tonight, and your flesh will definitely be useful to nurture my next summoned beast!” roared Bai Yang as he clutched his chest as he paled with violent headache because his summon was killed.
Bai Yang who have severely underestimated the student, thinking that the lightning and fire spell would merely injure his summoned dark magic wolf, instantly killed it instead! Just the notion of shooting a fiery explosion down a wolf’s mouth accurately and instantly kill it isn’t an approached that a normal student would do!
Although his summoned beast died, as long as he could get the holy spring in his hands, his position in the cult will be elevated! Soon after, Bai Yang started to disdain the presence of this grilled wolf. Calling up the other hidden dark grotesque at his side he commanded both the dark grotesque to kill Mo Fan with eyes filled with cold, dark and bitter brutality.
The dark monsters that was chasing other students suddenly took a turn and rushed towards Mo Fan, and it being more flexible and agile compared to wolf, it jumped over cars and also using the cars as a cover to rapidly change its position. The two dark grotesque rapidly close in on Mo Fan from two separate direction as if it’s a hunter chasing its livestock prey, even if Mo Fan once again use lightning seal to neutralize one, the other will surely jump right on Mo Fan and slit his throat!!
The two dark monsters came closer and closer to Mo Fan, as he only have mere moments left to complete one spell without the protection of his bone shield. As he ran out of time, Mo Fan reflexively started on

Xue Mu Sheng looked at him before quickly forming his runes and unleashed the brilliant blinding light at the two dark grotesque approaching Mo Fan moments away!
The blinding light did nothing to the advancing pair of monsters, it does nothing to affect its hunt at all!! Feeling the bright light, Bai Yang looked away, his face filled with a little disdain. Although such sudden brightness is not lethal, as long as one doesn’t looked directly into it, one’s vision will be restored soon. What a silly teacher, these dark grotesque has no eyes, this stupid blinding light does nothing to them at all!

A small voice suddenly heard from Bai Yang’s rear, and the next second a sudden cold slash was aimed at Bai Yang’s neck. The brilliant milky white after image of an ebony sword edge like object appeared out of nowhere, shining brilliantly with cold biting chill cut its way towards Bai Yang!
Bai Yang was actually quite clever, in the death of his summoned beast and his pets no longer near him, he took cover behind a car so that he could avoid anything the students might plotted against him, but this cold milky white sword like object care nothing for any obstacles in its way and simply cut through the car into Bai Yang’s body!
The sharp edged object, cut through all cars and body, completely slicing through Bai Yang’s left shoulder to his neck! Not a drop of blood was spilled from his severed body as the wounds were instantly frozen with layers of frost on it, as Bai Yang slowly fell to the ground, his face frozen in disbelief!
He, a summoner mage with three beasts was killed by greenhorn students mage that would even wet their pants seeing a magic beast face to face a year ago!?
As Xue Mu Sheng’s blinding light slowly started to fade away, Mo Fan could see the two dark grotesque to suddenly stopped moving in its track! It appeared to struggle as if he was strangled, writhing painfully in its place, making Mo Fan feel surprised as its dark body started to melt! In nothing but five seconds, the death dealing black monster melted into a pool of black pus, bubbling disgustingly.
“The dark grotesque is connected to the master’s soul, once the master die, it will also die along with it! It’s the devil cults’ most loyal and vicious slave dog!” said Xue Mu Sheng slowly as he wiped sweat off his brow.
The remaining six other students came over from their cover, looking at Bai Yang’s severed body and then at the black pool of pus, their face filled with relief and tiredness.
Killing magic beasts along the way, they may have gain some experience and got used to it, but a sudden betrayal from another human, and once their instructor to boot had proven to be too much for them to handle at the moment, nobody would know how long it will take for them to get over this trauma.
“My uncle gave me this magic tool on my 18th birthday, it finally came handy” said Mu Bai with a tired smile as he looked at the sharp object.
Attack-type magic weapon is usually activated along with a huge burst of magic power from the user, but this kind of magic tool is many times more expensive than magic armor! Not many magicians could afford them, let alone commoner humans.
