The voice instantly and wholly disrupted the warm atmosphere in the quiet hospital ward .
“Yi?” Pei Ge lifted her head and looked over at the source of this foreign voice in confusion .
This was when she realized with a start that Mu Heng was standing behind her and Ji Ziming . His usually playful attitude was not present at the moment, and he seemed to have transformed into a totally different person .
“Why are you here?” Also noticing Mu Heng’s presence, Ji Ziming turned to regard him indifferently .
When Mu Heng spoke earlier, Ji Ziming thought that he had accidentally spoken his thoughts aloud .
“Ha ha! Of course, it is to visit you, you punk . It turns out you don’t need me, though, as you have this pretty lady here . Ze, ze, ze! How comforting!” His face broke into a teasing smile as he looked at his best friend .
Seeing that the Casanova was back to his usual self, she blinked and pouted inside . This is the Mu Heng I know! That deep look he had moments ago isn’t like him at all .
Mu Heng caught her gaze and winked at her . “Little Chili, I really didn’t expect for your English to be so pleasing to the ear . Read aloud for me as well the next time I am sick . ”
“…” She rolled her eyes speechlessly . I’ve never met someone who would curse me like this .

“Little Chili, continue reading . I like listening to you read . ” Mu Heng proceeded to sit in the other soft chair after saying this with a grin .
For some reason, his smiling face made her not want to continue reading the story .

Once she was out of sight, Ji Ziming shifted his gaze away .
“You’ve already looked at her the whole day, yet you still have not had enough?” Mu Heng teased when he saw his best friend stare intently at her receding back .

Ji Ziming lightly hummed and stood up from the soft chair that he had been in the whole afternoon .
“I finally get it why you care so much for Little Chili . She really is very attractive…” Mu Heng recalled that earlier scene and his face broke into a soft smile .
Hearing Mu Heng’s words, Ji Ziming turned and frowned at his smiling face . “Don’t get any ideas . ”
“How can I? You are CEO Ji . I am not daring enough to touch Master Ji’s woman . ” Mu Heng regained his cheeky self .
Ji Ziming glanced at him briefly and did not speak .
“That Little Chili’s English is pretty good, though . She uttered that line with a touch of love . I was so moved to the point of being stunned…” Mu Heng said emotionally . He had been with many beautiful flowers over the years, yet he dared to say that this wild flower, Pei Ge, might not be the prettiest woman out there, but she was definitely the most moving .
Even a playboy like him was moved by this wild flower .
Looking at the slightly dazed Ji Ziming, who was standing next to him, Mu Heng felt that perhaps it was not her fluently reading a book but, instead, her speaking of love from the heart that had caused his best friend to have his current gentle look .

Since the man had agreed to her taking the remaining vegetables home, she gratefully and willingly cooked an extra dish for him .
Thereafter, she proudly served the dishes and soup to Ji Ziming . This was when she heard Mu Heng cry out, “Yi?! Ziming, are you having this for dinner?!”
