Listening to the maid walk away, Will washed his face as he took a few deep breaths. Not knowing why, he felt as if he was going to be appraised like a young man asking for a girl's hand in marriage, he felt as if he was under the strict observation of the father in that scenario.
Walking out of the room and leaving the building, he ran into Cecily whom was heading to his room.
"Hey Cecily, why are you here?"
"Um, what do you mean? I am just taking a walk before going to dinner"
Slightly startled upon Will's sudden appearance, Cecily came up with a hard to believe excuse. If he was to head to dinner there has to be someone guide him, instead the maid walked away.
It's obvious why Cecily was heading in his direction.
"You've came you guide me? There is no one else"
"You.. Shut up, follow me"
Will grinned as he exposed Cecily, her face flushed slightly as she told him to follow her.
In truth, Cecily was avoiding Will all this time because she felt responsible for her brother's actions. The only reason she showed up is because of her father's grinning face as he repeatedly told her to go get Will.
It seemed as if he is cooking up some sort of plan.
As Cecily lead Will to her place, his face turned pale briefly as he felt his abdomen pulsate slightly. A dull and itchy pain slowly started to crawl through his body like worms burrowing through the earth as his abdomen started to pulse at a higher frequency.
Inside his body, in the area known as the dantian, the little ball of qi that formed earlier started to pulse at a rapid rate as it started to modify Will's body from the inside out.
Little tendrils of energy started to dig through his body, slowly carving channels in which qi started to gather. After ten minutes of carving, the tendrils only managed to create channels in ten percent of his body before retracting back into the ball of qi.
Before the tendrils retracted, Will's blood which took on the usual red color of most life forms started to glow a gentle golden color which caused the qi within his body to go crazy. The tendrils were the cause of the dull pain, while his blood becoming active caused the itchy feeling he felt.
What is wrong with my body!?
In an expensive looking room, loud laughter could be heard as the sounds of plates clattering echoed in the distance.
"You are a very interesting boy! I like you!"
"Father.."
"You are very interesting too, old man!"
"Hahaha!" "Hahaha!"
Sitting at the highest position in the dining room Cecily's father Klaus was laughing after him and Will enjoyed a brief conversation between each other, with Will laughing with as Cecily pouted at the two of them.
"Now, to the point"
Klaus's expression became semi serious as he looked at Will.
"I know I didn't before, but I would like to apologize for my son's behavior. Also, I would like to give you this"
After speaking, Klaus reached into his robes and gestured for Will receive what he held in his hand, Cecily's eyes widened at the sight of what was in his hands as she looked curiously at her father.
In his hands was a storage ring! Looking at the ring with wide eyes he glanced at Klaus's face and noticed his hopeful expression.
"I accept you apology, but there is no need for this.."
"Accept it! Or this old man will have to report to the righteous faction!"
With a flicker of fear in his eyes, Will quickly took the storage ring after noticing Klaus's serious expression.
"Father!"
Hearing what was said Cecily stood up as she glared up at her father. Klaus's face twitched slightly as he looked at Cecily.
"Okay okay okay, you know I was joking!"
"Cecily, it's fine. It would be rude if I didn't except the storage ring"
"It would be! I am tired of carrying all this junk in my ring!"
"It's not junk though?"
"Haha, you kids should get along more. This old man will leave you to yourselves"
Seeing the two start to argue with themselves, Klaus's eyes glittered slightly as he decided to leave them alone to bond more.
Getting into their argument about the "junk" Will made Cecily store in her ring, they failed to notice Klaus slip out of the room after speaking.
