The remaining days of travel passed in the blink of an eye. The past two days, not only was Cecily cultivating the whole time, Will was adjusting to his breakthrough to a level three melee fighter.
He didn't even realize he broke through until he started throwing punches in the air, it turned out that because he was so close to breaking through, soon after he ate the blood dragon that was full of vitality his body was able to step through the invisible barrier blocking him from progressing.
It happened completely naturally, he went to sleep and the next morning he already broke through.
The good thing with this is that it means he doesn't need to be harmed as much in order to use his muscle power. Although being harmed would actually give him an even stronger boost now than it did before because his body can handle more damage.
At the end of the two days, the forbidden zone gradually faded and was replaced by tall and oppressive mountains. Their peaks piercing the heavens with no visible end to their height, made one wonder if they even had an end in the first place.
"Cecily, I don't think this is a good idea"
"It's fine, our sect is against the heavens, your existence is against the heavens, so you'll be okay"
Reaching the foot of the mountain, Will was nervous, he was concerned that after all they went through it would be the time that they parted.
He was afraid that Cecily's sect wasn't as good as she said it was, and they'd ruthlessly through him out or kill him.
Luckily, Cecily seemed to notice his thoughts and reassured him.
Putting that aside, Will had a happy glow to his eyes, the last two days, no matter how much Cecily complained, Will made them stop and fight many magic beasts. In the end he managed to collect many items that he has plans for.
He plans to use the time he gains at the sect to boost his power as much as he can. Normally cultivators have to worry about a cultivation base and their foundation. Will has no need to worry, his potions are his path to cultivation, unless he gains another ability from the system's ability shop (too bad the requirements are not met yet).
His cultivation base, his foundations? Well, he has two, his mind and his body. Potions can be used to constantly strengthen/upgrade his body, his body being both his cultivation base and his foundations.
His mind is being cultivated every time he makes a potion.
If someone wants to cripple Will's cultivation they would have to permanently cripple his body, but as long as he can make a potion..
He cannot be crippled.
The walk up the mountain took a few hours, in that time Cecily remembered to tell Will the names of her father and brother.
Her father's name is Klaus and her brother's name is Klein.
She forgot to mention her surname before, luckily she remembered to tell that to Will.

Cecily gave Will a strange look as they walked around several boulders, she was pretty upset when he said her family name was strange. She took it as insulting her ancestors.
"What's yours then?"
"Ugh, mine is Effle.. My full name is Will Effle"
"Hahaha, and you said mine was strange!"
"Woah"
After they passed a couple boulders, a massive structure could be seen as it rose up in the distance. Colored blood red, a twenty meter tall wall and a refined iron gate surrounded multiple palaces that were very similar to the palaces from the Tang dynasty of China.
Will was surprised when he noticed this, although after thinking about the other three Rejected that came to this world, there is a chance that one of them came from China and managed to spread some popular architecture of their time.
If one looked at the Blood Demon Sect with a bird's eye view, one would see that the sect took up an amazing amount of several thousand kilometers of land, not counting hills and mountain peaks.
"The size of the sect is actually in the lower level compared to other sects in the outside world, well compared to the information we have, which is obviously outdated.. So the sects in the outside world are probably larger now"
"One thing we have that they can only dream of is multitudes of resources, we only need to step out of the forbidden zone briefly and we can find rare materials, rare for the outside world anyway"
Noticing Will's surprise, Cecily couldn't resist telling him some information that would blow his mind even further.
"This is small? I still need to adjust to this world apparently.."
Hearing what Will muttered under his breath, Cecily stepped forward as she grinned, obviously she was satisfied with his reaction.
