After fixing his arms, Cecily sat down and gazed at the night sky.
Feeling strange and a little curious about the situation, Will looked at Cecily and the dead bodies as he decided to ask her who they were.
"Cecily, who are these people?"
Cecily looked deeply at Will as a sparkle could be seen in her eyes, she already decided to get him to help her sect "I guess I should tell you"
With a sigh, Cecily started to explain.
The people that attacked her, were people from one of her sect's enemies, the Raging Devil Cult.
They got their name because of their technique, Raging Devil Seven Forms which causes their bodies to go into a berserk state, increasing their defense, strength, vitality, and reaction speed immensely.
Her sect, The Blood Demon Sect, has it's name because they are able to use the blood of beasts and humans to cultivate using their technique, Blood Refining Of The Three Realms.
With that technique, a legendary practitioner can create a sphere of blood using the blood of countless humans and beasts.
The sphere, when used correctly, can increase the power of any cultivator, no matter what path they chose Array Master, mage etc directly to the sacred level.
Obviously with any sudden increase in power, the foundations of the practitioner would be unstable.
It's because of the blood sphere that her sect keeps getting attacked.
As of now, the only reason they have been able to ward off the other sects, is because her father has entered the sacred realm.
In the sacred realm there are nine bands that can be achieved, each band is another gain of power in the path of cultivation.
The bands are the gathering of their current cultivation, and their mental and physical talent, after gathering all of that, it gets compressed into a special energy that merges into the cultivator's body, increasing their power even further.
The first band would be a two times increase in power, second band four times increase in power etc.
Obviously, different talents, physiques and comprehensions will lead to varying strengths at the same level.
In the glow of the flickering fire, Will sighed as he stared at Cecily in contemplation, his mind falling into deep thought.
'I wonder if that blood sphere would work for me?'
Thinking about his issue using mana, he could only curse in his heart, 'It doesn't matter, with my ability, anything can be an ingredient, I'll just use it to make a potion if I get my hands on it'
While Will was contemplating, the surroundings finally reached the peak darkness as silver beams of moonlight pierced through the shadows.
The wind rustled the leaves quietly, as the creaking of trees could be heard.
After a few minutes passed, as Will's arms and knuckles started to act up, Cecily started to speak again.
"When I go back, will you come with me?"
The light of the moon trickled down onto the ground, illuminating her small figure as she looked at Will in anticipation.
Seeing her look of anticipation, Will was taken by surprise, 'She wants me, to go home with her?'
Since she was watching his face so intently, she instantly realized his thoughts.
Pausing to think about what she said, she glared at him as she realized the misunderstanding, and explained what she meant.
"The reason I ask, is because, not only would going to The Blood Demon Sect be a safer option for you, we will help you with acquiring resources"
Taking a deep breath, she watched Will's face turn to one of understanding, causing her to feel some nervousness lift off her shoulders.
"Additionally, besides those who go against the heavens, anyone else would kill you instantly upon discovering your rejection"
After finishing, she waited several minutes until she realized Will wasn't going to respond.
Feeling irritated, her face took on a cute but upset look as she went and laid down next to a log by the fire, leaving Will to think to himself.
As they both went to sleep, Will was still deep in thought about if he really wanted to go to the Blood Demon Sect.
'Will I really be okay there? Cecily didn't try to kill me, although she wasn't really kind when she froze me.. I don't think I'll have any issues with anyone else..'
It was a difficult, but easy decision for Will, if he goes, he takes the risk of everyone trying to kill him, or he takes a risk in general, but it turns out he had no reason to worry.
He was a little afraid that he would have his blood used as a cultivation resource…
Time passed as the moon started to sink lower in the sky, only then was Will able to make up his mind and fall asleep.
He decided to try his luck and go to the Blood Demon Sect.
