Chapter 4 School Hunk Teacher

Chapter 4 School Hunk Teacher Finally, the new semester began. It was quite good not being bothered by that boy. No need to worry about his knocks at the door, and no need to be suspected by him. Anyway, the sky looked even bluer without him. Why was he so worried that she wanted to commit suicide? Was this a special scheme plotted by him? After the last bell rang, all the classmates assembled together to talk about the things they saw and heard over the whole semester. Yue was collecting her textbooks by herself. To pass the dance grading exams and change to the dance major, she was going to take a special training class and today was the day for her to go to the dance classroom for enrollment. Though she was a little too tired with her busy schedule, for the sake of her mom, she would try her best to complete all the classes and training programs and pass the dance exams. “Have you heard that a new dancing trainer came to the dance school’s grading  program this semester?  Rumor has it that he is the most handsome one,” a girl at a neighboring desk said to another. “Why didn’t I sign up for the program? What a shame!” “Hey, are you serious? You’re getting me a little worried. Is the guy really so attractive?” “Oh, trust my taste! I never lower my standards,” the previous girl replied. “If you say so.” The girl joined her in her excitement. “Besides, he is the youngest and most talented dance teacher in our university. He received many awards from the national dance competitions. I heard that he was once a student of our university but was later chosen by the National Art University for his specialty. Now, our president hired him back to teach with a high salary. What a bonus to the female dance students.” “...” Her friend just didn’t know how to comment. “Did you know, he’s only twenty. Twenty! A perfect age! Oh, my heart can’t stop beating for him!” The girl still overlooked her friend’s awkwardness. Twenty? Yue secretly doubted this as her eyebrows twisted. Such a young fellow was going to teach them? Was he experienced in teaching? Though he was a talent and earned a lot of national awards, what if he was bad at teaching others? Yue became worried. She had decided that this semester she must pass the grading exams. If he could not help her . . . “Yue, I heard that you have signed up for the dance training program. Would you take us to the dance classroom?” that boy-crazy girl suddenly turned to her to ask with a fevered attitude. “Eh. . .” Yue was stunned at her words and didn’t know how to answer. “I thought we were true friends. Last time you cheated on the English exam and we did not tell the teacher, and yet you don’t want to do us such a tiny favor. . .”The girl started to say something she would not hear. “I didn’t refuse yet. . .” Yue answered. “So you agree to bring us in?” The girl became excited with this answer. Yue still did not understand why she was so insane about a good-looking guy. By that time, Lin came in to visit her. She always enjoyed the game of playing the couple with Yue. She loved to tease her as if she were a boy, saying, “Hey, honey, did you miss me after not seeing me for such a long time?” “You’re such a fool!” Yue smiled, though she was blaming her. Only before Lin, her best friend, could she be so relaxed and happy. “Hey, dare you try to steal away my wife?” Lin said to the girl who had begged Yue to take her to the teacher. “Let me check who you are,” Lin said. The girl grew frightened by her and stepped aside. Many students had heard about Lin; she was not someone people dared to offend. It was not because she was violent, but because she had a lot of followers. If anyone made trouble with Lin, they were also challenging all her fans. “Lin, you misunderstood the situation!” Yue tried to explain to her. As a true friend, especially because they both were Chinese-Japanese with mixed-blood, she cherished their relationship, though this time she’d embarrassed her a little. “What? Did I make a mistake in assuming that you three are trying to hit on some cute guy?” “You’d better forget about me. Think about your business with Nianxia,” Yue said, striking back. “Oh, don’t mention that boy in front of me.” Lin’s demeanor changed to one of desperation. “What’s up?” Yue asked her. She never thought Lin would met someone she could not handle. That boy was a miracle; though he was her ex’s younger brother, she should not have had no way to throw him out of her room. There must be some secret behind it that she didn’t know. Yue suddenly thought of the annoying boy who’d thought she planned to commit suicide, and to some extent she understood Lin. She did not know which class he was taking, but she’d better not see him again, or she’d become crazy, too. “Yue, you decided not to come back home anymore?” Lin asked another question, without answering hers. “No, I just signed up for the dance grading training program. Today is my first day of training, so I’ll go to the dance classroom for enrollment.” “Forget it then!” Lin raised her eyebrow with a little disappointment. “I had thought about inviting you to hang out after going back. So I’ll be alone this time.” Lin added, “But I heard that the program hired a new teacher. If he has a bad temper, call me, and I will teach him how to treat you.” Yue smiled and nodded to her. She always enjoyed the game of calling her at midnight to tell her a ghost story—that’s Lin, a friend she would not give up. Yue and Lin walked together to the dance classroom and then went their separate ways. Yue entered the dance classroom with curiosity.
