Chapter 450 : Potion Lady
Ji Yunhuang, who looked uninterested, suddenly had a sparkle in his eyes as he glanced at the young lady.
Could it be that he was interested in this young lady?
Emperor Le Xuan was not sure if he should be joyful or worried.
This son of his was talented, and had great ambitions, but he never had any interest in other girls until he met the Calamitous Lonely Star Ning Xuemo. She was the only time he ever fell in love, so much that even his own father could not stop him.

Now that he was interested in another lady, who came from a prestigious background that was already a perfect match to him, it would be even better if she were to be a vessel.
However, the only pity was that this young lady was presented to the Heavenly Teacher, and if he were to accept her, his son would have lost his chance…
These were the thoughts that Emperor Lexuan had at that moment.
The carriage suddenly halted, and it appeared that Han Shanyue, the Heavenly Teacher, was about to make his announcement.
The Head of the Tianqing Family's eyes began to glow, and Emperor Lexuan was hopeful.
Surprisingly, Ji Yunhuang was also looking forward to his response as he took a few steps forward.
If Han Shanyue were to agree to accept this lady, this would mean that his feelings for Ning Xuemo were not real, and he might be agreeable to annulling his marriage with her…
Ji Yunhuang's eyes were fixed onto the carriage the whole time, and he was clenching his fists so tight that his fingertips turned pale.
The door to the carriage was finally opened, revealing the figure of Han Shanyue sitting inside.
He did not leave the carriage, and the exterior of the carriage was so extravagant that it shadowed the interiors, only showing Han Shanyue's silhouette.
The young lady then raised her head to see a tall man's figure and not his appearance.
However, she could feel that the man was looking at her with a cold gaze, and then she sneezed. She proceeded with lowering her head and with her heart beating wildly, she immediately pursed her lips tightly together.
She knew since at a young age that she was bound to be a vessel that could help boost someone's cultivation. A vessel that was made solely for a man called Han Shanyue. She was forced to train, and endured washing in either boiling hot or freezing cold medicinal baths, even her food was prepared using herbs…
Her entire life was tasteless, and she did not know what to feel for Han Shanyue. Hatred, disgust, curiosity, and conflicted feelings were some of the mixed emotions she experienced.
She thought that this Han Shanyue would be someone elderly. Never did she expect to see someone who was as cool and elegant as he was. Other than making her heart flustered, she was also willing to kowtow to him.
She thought that Han Shanyue would definitely accept, for he also knew medicine and that Potion Ladies from the Tianqing Family were very rare and would be very beneficial to him…
"Potion Lady?" Han Shanyue clarified, he knew about them pretty well.
"Exactly!" Tian Qing was pleased, and being as respectful as he was, he emphasized, "She is my youngest daughter; not only does her birth characters match well to become the Potion lady, she is also a psychokinesis genius, and although her powers are only at the second level, her skills are even more remarkable…" It sounded as if he was promoting a product, rather than bragging about his daughter's talent.
Clearly, the award for Best Father of the Year does not go to this dude…
Chapter 451 : Thank you, Heavenly Teacher
The young lady in black had already lowered her head and her beautiful face showed signs of embarrassment.
If she was only at the second level, then why was there a mist surrounding her? Could it be that it was only exclusive to Potion Ladies?
The crowd began to speculate.
Many men were lusting after her. A masterpiece! She was indeed a very precious masterpiece! No men could ever resist the temptation of such a "masterpiece".
All eyes then landed back to the inside of the carriage.
"Tian Xingyu, are you really going to give her to me? No matter what I would do to her?" Han Shanyue finally spoke.
Tian Qing real name was Tian Xingyu, and immediately his eyes lit up and then he bowed down. "Yes!"
"Good, then I shall keep her." Han Shanyue decided to accept her.
Although the outcome was expected, the public still went on speculating.
What would the Heavenly Master do with her? Would he also be taking her as his concubine? Then between the two, who would have a higher status, the Calamitous Lonely Star or the young lady?
Emperor Lexuan was obviously disappointed as this would mean that his son would have no hope!
Ji Yunhuang instead became hopeful as he took a step forward and before he began talking, Han Shanyue interrupted. "Tian Xingyu, what favour do you wish to ask of me? Taking into account of you presenting your daughter, I may grant you your request."
Tian Xingyu's eyes lit up, and as he lowered head, he said, "Thank you Master, but at this time, I do not have anything to ask of you yet. I only ask that during time of crisis, you will be willing to help Tian Qing."
Han Shanyue then replied nonchalantly, "As long as it doesn't harm others, I will be glad to help."
Tian Xingyu nodded repeatedly, "Of course, that's for sure, I do know where your bottom line is. It'll never be something immoral… Xueqin, come and greet your husband."
That young lady's name was Xueqin, and she was flustered that even her neck was flushed. Then just when she was about to bow and greet the person in the carriage, Han Shanyue spoke again…
" Hold it, I am not your husband."
Those words surprised everybody and then everyone looked at Han Shanyue puzzled. Tian Xueqin herself was stunned, not sure if she should carry on with the greeting.
"Master Han, what…. What do you mean by this?" Tian Xingyu asked, looking perplexed.
Han Shanyue instead replied coldly, "Since you've already given her to me, I do not see the need for your permission to give her away to somebody else."
This response caused Tian Xingyu to choke on his words, "This… but of course, it's none of my business. Once the 'present' is given to you, you can see fit to transfer it to anybody and I will not have any opinion on that."
Han Shanyue then shifted his sight onto Ji Yunhuang who was standing in front of the troops.
Ji Yunhuang was taken aback and before he could make his retreat, Han Shanyue called out to him. " Miss Xueqin shall serve the crown price Ji Yunhuang, and he shall be your husband."
Ji Yunhuang's expression darkened, his already pale face became even paler. Just when he wanted to decline the offer, his mind started to be in a whirl and he blurted out, "Yes, thank you Heavenly Master."
When the young lady in black heard that she was being tossed around, her beautiful face turned pale. However, now that Ji Yunhuang agreed and had accepted her, she could not help but turned her head to look at him…
As she carefully observed Ji Yunhuang's appearance, her pupils began to light up and then her cheeks flushed as she looked down.
Obviously, she was also a willing party.
Emperor Lexuan felt as though he won a lottery, and he started laughing heartily immediately. "Good! Good!"
I love how Han Shanyue gives this girl hope and then tears it all down in less than a minute…
Chapter 452 : Do You Want to Change Clothes?
Emperor Lexuan felt as though he had won himself a golden ticket and laughed heartily, "Terrific! Both of them are truly a match made in heaven! Head of the Tianqing Family, from now onwards, we'll be in-laws! I will not allow Huang'er to mistreat your precious daughter and I've decided to grant her the title of crown consort…"
Although Tian Xingyu was slightly disappointed, he already achieved what he wanted to do. Moreover, becoming in laws with the Emperor was an unexpected but pleasant surprise, so he was not against it entirely.
Ji Yunhuang turned pale, he tried to voice out his opinion but he could not control what came out of his mouth.
Furthermore, it seemed that his body was also beyond his control, as he walked slowly towards Tian Xueqing and extended his hand to her.
Tian Xueqing became flushed as she did not how to react, so she also extended her tiny hands and reached out to his.
Ji Yunhuang could not help but to hold her hand. Her tiny hand was soft, smooth and warm, yet his heart remained cold.
In the presence of everybody, it had seemed that he was also agreeable to this marriage and there was no chance to regret…
Xuemo! Xuemo! Could it be that we are not fated to be together?
The people then saw Han Shanyue's carriage off with utmost respect.
Meanwhile in the carriage, the musical note charm lit up once again at Han Shanyue's fingertip
"Master, what do you have for me?" It was the same voice that stalked Ning Xuemo just now.
Han Shanyue was silent for a moment before he spoke, "Did she ever halt since her departure? Did she even turn back for a moment?"
The person on the other end of the charm was puzzled for a while for he was not sure why his master asked that of him but he reported back immediately, "No, Master. She left the city and never looked back. I reckoned that there wasn't anyone else meeting her."
Master must have thought that she might have travelling buddies. That was his guess.
The communication was on hold for a moment. The voice had no idea what his master was plotting so he tried asking him, "Master, do you need me to follow her and find out?"
"There is no need to!" Han Shanyue's voice turned cold.
He then turned off the charm and the carriage was filled with silence.
Suddenly, a set of red bridal clothes appeared out of nowhere on his knees. The clothes were so high quality that it seemed to be made from the heavens. It was soft, silky and sparkled in the carriage. There was also a phoenix headdress that was so exquisite and grand that the pigeon-egg sized pearl alone was priceless!
His fingers gently brushed across the bridal dress, his expression suddenly turned dull and his fingertips emitting a bright light.
Then that priceless set of bridal clothes and headdress turned into dust in the next second…
The sun started to set. Ning Xuemo took a break on a boulder along the road.
The little qilin remained in his horse form, his expressions looking as if he had gotten into trouble as his head hung low. He also glanced at Ning Xuemo's gown from time to time….
Her gown had a huge patch of red stain, and it was very obvious to the eye.
This time although she was successful in her escape, she feared that Han Shanyue might send men to capture her, hence, she disguised herself as a man.
To make her appearance more convincing, she even befriended a male travelling companion along the way, and even made sure they were familiar with each other first before leaving the city.
Once it was a safe distance away from the city, Ning Xuemo made up an excuse to part way with her travelling companion and then rode the little qilin away quickly.
However, when Ning Xuemo was leaving the city, she felt a constant presence that was following her…
Poor Han Shanyue. I usually never feel bad for him, but this part actually made me kind of sad…
If anyone is up to doing a drawing of Han Shanyue as a fat white sheep, send them to ! I would love to see some fan art, and I'm sure Han Shanyue would "love it" too~
Life has been kind of hectic for me… AP exams are right around the corner, March and April are music and math competition season, and I’ve had to figure out my summer plans… But most of that is settled now :D.
