Li Yi rode his warhorse out of Shattered Frost City and headed to the location where Fire Ice was ambushed.
With the party disbanded, Li Yi used a Return Scroll to return to the city after splitting with Fire Ice and the rest.
Fire Ice was ambushed just outside Shattered Frost City.
More than ten minutes later, Li Yi had rushed over but by then, Fire Ice has been killed twice.
Her corpse lay there with her soul standing at the side. She dared not resurrect.
"The amulet given to me by Tall Tall is no more," Fire Ice's voice was trembling.
How could she feel good about being ambushed out of the blue?
But Li Yi finally got to the bottom of it. He has been puzzled about it. It was quite common for Fatty to die from not using the three-times invincibility but not forgetting that he still has an amulet that could resurrect once.
So it seemed he has transferred it to Fire Ice. No wonder.
Li Yi did not make his way up immediately but instead hid in a concealed area and had Fire Ice resurrect first.
It was not known how many were in on the surprise attack so recklessly heading up there might have him swamp camped like Fire Ice.
Fire Ice resurrected.
She stood up from the ground and a short figure appeared from behind her, wielding a glaring knife.
"You know too much!"
Fire Ice let out a cry. This stab did not take her life. She quickly leaped forward.
Li Yi did not make his move as when the Thief snuck up on Fire Ice, a certain somebody came to mind.

Old Green hot on Fire Ice? What's going on?'
Refraining from taking action, Li Yi patiently observed.
Just as Fire Ice's HP was left with a few drips, a destructive black ball struck from afar, striking Old Green in the chest.
"I really hate those who hit women."
Hua Feiwu made a grand entrance, firing out destructive black balls, blowing Old Green defenseless.
"Humph! Watch your back!"
Old Green left a warning and with a sweep of his Shadow Cape, he disappeared in Stealth mode...
"What a dirty brazen sh*t!"
Hua Feiwu cursed before walking towards Fire Ice.
"Miss Ice, it's alright now. I have cast away that thief."
Li Yi who was hiding in the dark and watching, felt a chill down his spine. He has seen many despicable people but none at the stage of Hua Feiwu.
Now he finally saw the light on how Hua Feiwu and Fire Ice were acquainted...
'What was the relationship of Old Green and Hua Feiwu? They were both friends in real life.
Old Green ambushing Fire Ice was Hua Feiwu's idea. How could he play a hero rescuing a damsel in distress without this plot? How could Fire Ice not grow fond of him then?

"Guild Master Hua? Thank you..." Fire Ice gratefully nodded at Hua Feiwu.
"It's really our fate to meet again," Hua Feiwu smiled at Fire Ice and sent a request to be friends.
Under such circumstances, how could Fire Ice not accept?
She gratefully accepted.
Hua Feiwu was ecstatic within and added, "Miss Ice, could I escort you back to the city for safety's sake?"
"I wouldn't dare to trouble you."
"I ought to and it would be my pleasure," Hua Feiwu bowed deeply.
"Swoosh! Swoosh!"
Two arrows shot from afar struck Hua Feiwu right in the head in continuous Crit Rate, killing the Dark Wizard in one shot.
"Guild Master Hua!" Fire Ice was shocked.
"Wait for me..."
Hua Feiwu released his soul.
This arrow was naturally shot by Li Yi. He really could not look any longer. There has to be a limit to the despicableness of a person.
"Don't be afraid, Ice.
"Return to the city now.
"Listen to me and immediately return to the city.
"Do not bother with Hua Feiwu.
"I'll let you know later the reason why."
Li Yi had once gifted Fire Ice a Return Scroll but this young lady was just too thrifty, unwilling to use even one or else this incident would not have happened in the first place.
"Oh..." She took one glance at Hua Feiwu's corpse. Fire Ice could not endure watching this but alas, took Li Yi's advice to mind and crushed a Return Scroll to return to the city.
When Hua Feiwu's soul returned, he first scouted the area vigilantly and confirming the safety before selecting to resurrect.
"The Archer has left. I can't find him anywhere."
Old Green appeared from his Stealth Mode and stood next to Hua Feiwu.
"M*th*rf*ck*r, who is the rotten apple to play foul with me at a time like this? Just a little bit longer and I'll have Fire Ice in the palm of my hand."
Old Green dully responded, "Go after her if you like her. If she were to find out about our crooked ways, would she even bother with you?"
Hua Feiwu glared at him, "What do you know?
"Women love men to be the hero.
"The regular courtship is just too much.
"Don't you butt in.
"You just need to coordinate with me behind the scenes.
"I think just killing her seven or eight times would have her falling head over heels for me."
"Swoosh! Swoosh!"
Another two arrows flew over and struck Old Green.
He did not instantly die as Old Green immediately Shadow Caped (Abolishing all irregular state in an instant and breaking away from battle. A Thief Skill that was better than Trickery Ring) and went into Stealth mode.
But this time, he realized that his forever-winning tactic was ineffective for once.
Under Stealth mode, he took another two hits and exposed his body. He lay horizontally on the ground, dying a begrudging death.
This death was all too familiar...
Old Green lay on the ground, thinking.
Hua Feiwu was not let off the hook. Old Green had just died when he too, was met with death.
This time, both of them were not that lucky. Old Green's gold-colored dagger was dropped while a blue-colored necklace, the only item on Hua Feiwu was dropped.
Li Yi who succeeded in the sneak attack, charged up with a big red name over his head. He swiftly picked up the equipment and disappeared out of sight.
He was not afraid about being seen by Hua Feiwu and Old Green. The special effects of Trickery Ring really lived up to its name. Before he headed up there, he had already adjustment his appearance to be the race of a Giant.
'Go hunt me down.
An Archer of the Giant race was rarer than a Giant Healer anyway...'
Hua Feiwu swore, "Giant Archer, F*ck!"
"I'll seek you to the ends of the earth, we're not done!" Dog-skin plaster, Old Green was enraged himself.
By then, Li Yi had already made his way back to the city.
He was not afraid of others seeing his red name. With this great Trickery Ring present, apart from certain NPCs that could tell, other players could not see it.
Carrying a big red name and strolling the streets of Shattered Frost City, if it were not for the Trickery Ring, who would dare? Killing a red name did not warrant any punishment but instead, merited an abundant reward. If anyone were to score a bounty-hunting quest, the rewards would leave them drooling.
"Hua Feiwu PM-ed earlier and said he was ambushed and swamp camped by a despicable Archer, could it be... could it be... you."
Fire Ice looked and whispered at Li Yi who had his head lowered.
Li Yi smiled, "I am the Archer that ambushed him."
"Did you tell him it was me?"
"No, how could I?" Fire Ice shook her head. It could be seen that Hua Feiwu was not that all important compared to Li Yi in her heart.
"You'll understand once you see this."
Li Yi pointed in the air and sent an image he extracted earlier to Fire Ice.
