“Let’s go!” Lu Mingshu yelled.
If they wanted to leave in one piece, they had to defeat the guards, but beware of the emperor.

As they landed in front of the exit, the guard there grabbed some purity soul cultivators over desperately to try and block the both of them.

The emperor saw the light flashing past the top of his palace. He furrowed his eyebrows.
As he was about to chase after them, a ray of light appeared in front of him, and master Baoguang appeared, waving his feather fan while smiling cheerfully. “Greetings, your highness.”
The emperor stared at him for a moment.
He coughed and faked a smile. “I remember that Master Baoguang was in seclusion. So what brings you here now?”
Master Baoguang smiled. “I heard that something bad has happened so I’m here to check it out.”
“Just two kids, nothing much.”
“They are the alienators that you injured six years ago, right?” Master Baoguang laughed while fanning himself. “Your Highness, how are you planning to punish them?”
“Order their arrest.” The emperor shook his head. “It’s just a small matter, why waste so much effort?”
“Yes, your highness.” Master Baoguang stood up and bowed.
The emperor gritted his teeth and did not bother to deal with him. He left and went back into his palace.
When he felt strong energy waves from the spell formation, he knew that something was not right. Back then, the fight between him and the rebel chief revealed that he was seriously injured to Master Baoguang. He had been waiting for a chance to take the emperor down, so the emperor dared not act rashly.
