“Then, I shall start the explanation now. The content of this Nominated Request is to accompany the individual to the Golem Mountains as an Escort, and the reward is 5 Gold.”
Ho, so it’s an escort request, it’s my first time receiving such a request.
Where are the Golem Mountain Ranges anyways?
“Meru-san, can you please explain to me about the Golem Mountain Range?”
“Alright. Firstly, the Golem Mountain Range is a huge mountain range in the southwest of Forxx, so you can see it even from far away or at a considerable distance. If you were to walk all the way there then it would only take a couple of days. Come to think of it, if you have map Yuma, you can find it.”
Ah, right, I do possess a map.
I took out the map from my Item Box to check out it’s location. Hmm, I see this is quite far. Certainly, it will take quite a long time to get there on foot. Well~, if I start running, then it won’t be a problem.
Ah, but since Risa will be coming as well, I guess I can’t run there all the way. Well~, if it was Iguru or Marubuta, then it would be fine to carry them all the way.
“Secondly, the Golem Mountain Range is very famous for its ore deposits, the ore obtained is used in multiple ways; like the base for weapons, materials, armour materials, the production of goods, and most types of magic items.”
Hmm, production of magic items, so that is why Risa wants to go there. No, wait, more importantly, does that mean Risa can not only sell them, but produce them as well? Isn’t that quite amazing?
“Lastly, the monsters that appear in the Golem Mountain Range are quite weak, but some consideration is required for the monsters such as golems. Golems possess a body of stone, but they are very weak to magic, so it’s quite an easy prey for magicians.”
Hmm, it’s quite problematic that physical attacks are less effective.
If they are really quite weak to magic though, then I guess it won’t be that much of a problem.
“That ends the explanation about the Golem Mountain Range.”
“Thank you very much, it was very easy to understand.”
“Now then, Yuma-kun,I have explained all of the information, but I have to once again confirm for the Nomination Request, will you accept or refuse it?”
Hmm, well, I really don’t have a reason to refuse it anyway. Although it would be problematic if someone were to learn about Sign Isolation, but according to Meru-san’s explanation, there really won’t be a need to use the skill at all. Moreover, this Nomination Request is from a friend.
“Meru-san, i’ll accept the Nomination Request.”
Meru-san gave a small nod from hearing my answer.
“Understood. Then, the guild will approve of your acceptance for this Nomination Request. First off, I shall give you this Yuma.”
Meru-san accepted the escort request in my presence and handed over the Request plaque to me.
“This plaque here is the Request confirmation for the Nomination Request, so make sure you don’t lose it.”
This seems to be an important item.
And so, I quickly placed the plaque into my Item Box so I don’t lose it.
“Since this is your first escort request Yuma, I shall explain the details to you first. For an escort request, if the request is successfully completed then you will get a signature on the request plaque, and then later bring it to the guild for processing and confirmation to officially complete the request.”
“Understood!”
“Ok, the explanation for the request has been told to you, the rest will be explained to you by the client directly.”
“Understood. Meru-san, thank you very much for everything.”
Saying so, I bowed toward Meru-san where she gave me a friendly smile in response.
“You are very welcome. But still, even after being so strong, you are extremely polite.”
Hmm, am I really that polite? I have never really been conscious about it.
While I was wondering that,
“Yuma, I don't think you know this, but adventurer’s tend to be extremely savage, especially after they become high-ranked, there are people out there who misuse their power trying to get things done and act however they wish.”
I was very surprised by those words,
“So, there are those kinds of adventurers as well, that means nothing even if they become that powerful, just being strong doesn’t give them a reason to be not courteous to others.”
When I said that, Meru-san made a really happy face.
“Fu, fu, that’s exactly right. Yuma-kun, from now on, make sure to alway be like this.”
I nodded strongly to those words,
“Yes, I will remember them.”
After that, I spoke to Meru-san for a bit, then left the guild.
Ok, what am I supposed to do now?
And so, I looked up at the sky, I could see that it would take quite a long time for sunset. I really seem to have returned a little too early.

Alright, since there is time to spare, i’ll head to Risa’s place and get a more detailed explanation about the Nomination Request.
While I was thinking that I, headed over to the magic item shop where Risa resided.
While walking on the path, I passed by quite a lot of Magic Academy students. There were already quite a few back then, but the number of Magic Academy students seems to be increasing. Apparently, there are quite a lot of students out purchasing cans and other related commodities.
Well~, it's not really something I should worry that much about.
After a few more minutes of walking, I was able to safely arrive in front of Risa’s shop.
Well, I should probably enter right now, while thinking so, I opened the door and entered inside.
I peeked inside, and then I could see the dusty shop had turned shiny clean, making it look rather beautiful.
Somehow, Risa seems to have been able to properly clean everything, I was really impressed.
“Oya, I was wondering who it was, if it isn't Yuma?”
Risa came out of the back door while wearing tight clothes
YES! It seems ready to burst out at any moment from the chest as usual, but since the clothes are quite constrictive, it feels even more so!
Oops, I shouldn’t stare, I shouldn’t….
It would be rude to Risa if I keep looking at her chest.

The moment I said that, I officially accepted the Nomination Request

“If that happened, wouldn’t it have been fine if you asked any other adventurer?”
“Yeah, but I would rather avoid camping with adventurer’s that I don’t know or trust.”
Are we going to stay there overnight!? More importantly, it’s fine if it’s with me?
“Then, I shall start the explanation.”
After that, I listened to the contents of the request from Risa.
Firstly, we must go to the Golem Mountain Range, and then find the ore called, ‘Ars Orc’ that Risa is searching for.
Secondly, I must escort Risa until she returns back to Forxx after we leave the day after tomorrow.
Lastly, I must make time available to prepare for the days we will be gone.
Hmmm, this is how I imagined.
“Risa, will this request really take seven days?”
“Yeah, it will probably take that amount of time. First, we have to hike all the way to the Golem Mountain Range which should take a considerable amount of time, and then we have to find the required materials. Lastly, we have to return back to Forxx which could take quite a long time.”
Good, that’s fine then, I can probably shorten that time by a lot.
“Risa, if you’re ok with my method of travel, then we will probably be able to arrive at the Golem Mountains Range in just few hours.”
“That would be amazing! If what you are telling me is really true, then we can probably be back in just two days! Yuma, what is your means of transportation though?”
“Risa, i’ll show you the the day after tomorrow. Don’t worry about it, it’s a method in which Risa won’t even feel tired at all.”
“That would be amazing! Understood, I will be looking forward to it.”
“Alright, if the departure is the day after tomorrow, then shall we meet at the city gates?”
“Yes, that’s fine.”
“Alright then, I will excuse myself now, i’ll meet you the day after tomorrow.”
Saying so, I left Risa’s store.
Hmm, the departure is the day after tomorrow, huh?
I already have tons of food, I should prepare some potions for the trip.
When I looked at the sky now, I noticed it’s almost sunset.
Alright, it’s almost time for me to return to Zinnia now I suppose.
While thinking that, I started walking toward Zinnia.
