Chapter 51- Memories
Alright, with this, the request is complete.
Now, all that's left is for the guild to confirm the body and death of Bakiru.
Now then, shall we just put the corpse into the Item Box?
I move forward and collect the rolling head and the headless corpse of Bakiru.
“By the way, what happened to Iguru after?”
Well, he did say that he couldn't move after he used Eagle Eyes.
Alright, as soon as he is able to move again, he will make his way back to the inn. But, it's definitely true that this was thanks to his help. I don't know what I would have done to search for Bakiru if Iguru wasn't here.

“Well, let's just go to the place where Iguru is, and the proceed to the guild.”
I headed to the guild through the roads and alleyways, I also went to the place where Iguru was previously, but I couldn't find him. Maybe he already went back to Zinnia.
So I thought while I went to the guild and after a few minutes, I arrived there safely.
I opened the door to the guild and entered inside, there were not many people there at this time which is what I expected.
I tried to look for Grace-san who was always around, but I couldn't find him.
I headed to where Meru-san at the reception desk is.
Meru-san noticed me and we started to talk,
“Good evening, Yuma. Why are you here at such a time? Do you have anything to report about a request?”
“Good evening, Meru-san. I am indeed here to report about a request.”
When I said that, Meru-san made a surprised expression that was visible on her face.
“Is it about the…... promotion request? Could you have possibly already caught the Ripper Demon!? Even though the guild master gave you the request only today!”
“Yes, I just completed it right now.”
“That's amazing! As expected of Yuma!”
Meru-san praises while saying that.
But, I am not really worth it.
I should have completed this request sooner. If I had, Sari probably wouldn't have had to go through that attack…….
I have to get stronger to protect my people.
“What's wrong, Yuma-kun?”

“Also, Yuma-kun. Do you have any proof for the subjugation of Bakiru?”

“Guildmaster! Yuma, has come to show you the proof of completion for his promotion request. Is it fine to enter?”
As Meru-san asked this question, a voice soon came back,
“Alright, you can enter.”
Me and Meru-san enter the room. Yup, this is the first time that he did not come flying over to fight.
“You're here early Yuma, so? Did you maybe come for the completion of your promotion request?”
“Yes, I have just succeeded in taking down Bakiru a while ago.”
“You work quite quickly! So, where's the proof? Let me confirm it before we issue it a success.”
“Understood!”
So, where should I take it out? Well, I guess it's fine to take it out here.
I think it's better to only take out the head since it's much easier to confirm than the body, so I remove a small part of the head from the item box.
Guren-san, who saw it, gave me a nod.
“Yes, it's confirmed. That side of the head definitely proves that he is Bakiru! That's quite a big thing! And, I only just asked you today, look how quick you are!”
“Thank you very much!”
“Then, this is the reward. Here, accept it.”
I was handed something I haven't seen before. It was a white coin. Let's check it with appraisal. Woah, this thing is actually called white gold and it's worth almost ten times as much as the gold coin. Is this fine for me getting such a reward? Well, I guess it might be. Where shall I use it?

I did tell Saria-san that I would be going and will be late. I walked toward Zinnia while sighing.
After a while, I reached the gates of the inn.
The first floor of Zinnia was very quiet. It can't be helped.
I opened the door to Zinnia while thinking so.
“Ah! Yuma-san, welcome home!”
“Ah! Yuma, you're finally back. It took you quite a while.”
“Ah! Yuma you're finally back, huh! I am so hungry that my stomach is making peko peko sounds already.”
Wha… t?
When I looked at who it was, I could see Sari, Saria-san, and even Iguru.
“Why is everyone? It's already very late. Even dinner is already over….”
When I started to murmur that, Sari said,
“Didn't you tell me!? You would only eat my delicious food. Please wait for while and I'll go get the food ready.”
Saying that, Sari ran to the kitchen while I looked at Saria-san.
Seeing this, she made a small smile,
“You're wondering why we are still up even though you told us to go ahead and sleep. She said that you would come soon and you would only want her food and started throwing a tantrum. Kids these days are quite a handful.”
Even though she said that, she had a smile on her face. I then turned toward Iguru,
“Iguru, what about you?”
“Hmm, me huh? Well, when I came back to Zinnia I was really exhausted, but I told Sari-chan and Saria-san that today's dinner time will be extended! I told them that you would be back a little late and they said they would wait until then. I also thought the same thing since eating alone is just boring. Therefore, come on, let's have seat and have dinner together already!
“Aa, ah.”
I was still slightly confused, but still I sat opposite to Iguru.
“So, were you able to possibly find and take care of it?”
“Yes, the request has been completed.”
“That's a relief!”
“Yuma, on behalf of my daughter, Please accept my thanks.”
When we were talking about such things, Sari came over with the food.
Is it just me or are the dishes a little bit too luxurious?
“Yuma-san, Iguru-san, here’s dinner. It's a little bit more than usual. Please take your time and slowly finish it.”
The dishes were then lined up on our table and they looked delicious.
Both me and Iguru were thinking the same thing.
“Uiuuuu! It looks delicious! Yuma, let's dig in!”
“Yeah, I think so too. Let's eat!”
And so, Me and Iguru started to eat. Shut! This too good. I can't stop eating!
Me and Iguru started to eat at a considerable fast pace.
But still, this sight is definitely something new.
Everyone sitting at the table started eating together. This kind of reminds me of my previous world from before, when we used to sit together at the dining table and have fun together eating dinner. They were very old memories before I became a NEET.
“Yuma-san?”
Sari suddenly looked very worried. What could be the reason?
Then Iguru said,
“Yuma, why are you crying?”
I am….crying. I reach for my eyes.
This is when I realized that tears were flowing out of my eyes.
“Yuma-san, what's the matter? Are you possibly injured or maybe there is something wrong with the food?”
Sari looks visibly troubled. I can't let this happen, I can't.
“I'm alright, Sari. I just remembered the time when I sat together with my family a long time ago like this.”
“Family, is it? Come to think of it, where is Yuma-san’s family?”
“Ah, my family is actually quite far away. It's not a location that I can easily go to.”
“Is that so? I hope that you can reach them someday again soon!”
“Ah, maybe. I would also like to see them again one day.”
Meet…..I have lots of things to speak with them about….
And soon, I and Iguru were able to completely clear all of the food.
“Wow, that was really good! I am completely full!”
“Oh, it was really delicious.
“I'm glad!”
Alright, let's go back to the room then. No, before that, I still have something to do.
“Thank you very much for waiting for me Sari, Saria-san and Iguru. It made me very happy. I will see you all tomorrow!”
And then, since I felt really shy, I ran to my room and went in while immediately falling on the bed.
“Today, lots of stuff happened huh. I'm flushed.”
I'm sorry for going away. Mom, dad, I'm really sorry.
But, I shall strive to live in this world. Along with Sari and everyone.
While I was thinking such things, I fell asleep….
