It was night already. Why did I even tell Tyrone to not call Sir Robin to fetch us? Now, we would both commute, to think that this one was not so much of a gentleman, bad trip. I truly was more masculine than him although I am a girl. Ugh!
“Have you learned something?” I asked because if he answered none, I’d punch him.
“Nothing.”
I raised my fist while glaring at him, “What did you say?!”
Tyrone laughed, “I said, it was only easy. Tss.”
“Good, good.” I triumphantly smiled. In the entire week that we tried to study, it was just today that it completely happened. Tyrone was hard to tutor because he was always sleepy, easy to feel bored, and he didn’t want to learn. He needs more determination! But that was fine since this was only the first day. At least he let me tutored him, right? Damn it, I hope he’d be more compliant.
“Alzeah!”
I looked back, it was Louisse. She was also late.
“Oh?” I didn’t have energy anymore!
“Thank you for earlier. If not for you, Ethan wouldn’t have listened. Thank you so much!”
I smiled, closed lips, “Be careful going home,” I told her and walked outside the campus with the idiot. Since a while ago, he was already glaring at me.
“Any problem?” I asked him.
“You became nicer?”
“I am nice. Tss,” I just didn’t have the energy. “Later at your house, read some books. And by the way, have you thought what degree program you want?”
Tyrone shook his head, “I don’t want anything.”
I hit him. “You can’t! We’re nearing the entrance exams!”
“Anything.”
“WHAT THE?!”
“Give me more time.”
“Set your goals, Tyrone. Girls don’t like guys without direction in life, just please. What, will we use LRT?
He shook his head. “I feel lazy. If I have only texted Sir Robin.”
“I apologize, I forgot that you’re a sloth.”
“So next time, keep it in mind. Let us just ride a taxi.”
HE WAS REALLY WEALTHY, HOW ANNOYING! Wait…
“Us?” My eyes widened. He didn’t even let me come with him when commuting.
“You don’t want to?” He asked, he was still peevish to me!
“I had already told you to lessen your ill-temperedness with me, right?! You’re so annoying, I am nice to you but then this would be your only payback to me. Let’s just go wait for a taxi!”
He half-smiled while shaking his head. Asshole!
We waited for a taxi, maybe it would take us thirty to fifty minutes since there was a heavy traffic again! I wished we resorted to LRT since I was used with little spaces. Ugh. It was seven o’clock in the evening when we got to ride a taxi. It was dark now.
“My mom would kill me. Tsk.” I spoke.
“Why?”
“OF COURSE! IT’S LATE ALREADY. She’d only let me off if I was late because of ballet practice or competitions related to academics.”
“Can’t you tone down your voice even just for once?! You’re too loud!”
“This is me, myself and I. If you can’t accept me, I don’t care! Rule number three in my conditions, no complaining. Remember that.”
“I’d be deaf ‘cause of you, am I still not allowed to complain?”
“YES! Is it my fault that your eardrums are sensitive?!”
“Sensitive or not, anyone’s ears would be deaf if they’re with you.”
“Then stop being with me! Easy peasy.”
He sighed. “Let’s make a deal, if you shut up now, I’ll give you free food tomorrow. Deal?”
