The dark air dispersed and Shamila strode out through the entrance .
Suddenly, a ring of dark green ripples exploded at the entrance with a loud boom . Dark energy expanded like a horrifying vortex of seawater . It oscillated and spread into what looked like a dark-green flower of over ten meters in diameter .
Before the young master and maid could react, the violent shock wave from the explosion blew them out like artillery shells . At last, they crash-landed in the field in the far distance, leaving behind a several-meter-wide, half-meter-deep mud pit .
Lin Sheng emerged from the dark-energy ripples at the entrance, his hair cascading down his shoulders .
“I think I’ve hit something . ” Puzzled, he raised his hand, the sea of dark energy around him disappearing into his hand like a whale sucked in seawater .
