The next morning...
Chouji followed Shikamaru out of their hiding spot.
"Shikamaru, Come back soon kay" Chouji smiled as he placed the chips in his mouth.
"Don't finish everything before I am back…"
"Okay" Chouji smiled as Shikamaru left towards the river.
"Sasuke"
"Are you ready?" Naruto asked as he stepped outside.
"Start walking, Loser" Sasuke said as they both left towards the river.
Meanwhile….
A few metres away…..
"Our target is leaving…." Dosu said upon seeing Sasuke leave along with Naruto.
"He is leaving, what do we do?" The girl asked.
"Should we stop them?" The Zaku suggested.
"No, you all should stay put…."
Dosu and the others turned back at this moment.
"Kabuto-san...."
"Where did Shikamaru go?" Ino asked as she saw Chouji.
"Probably went to meet a friend…" Chouji said as he stuffed his mouth with more food.
Naruto and Sasuke walked along the banks of the river as they finally met Shikamaru.
"Yo" Naruto greeted.
"Hey" Shikamaru waved back, while he was surprised to see Sasuke come as well.
The trio gathered around some metres away.
"So Naruto who was the Orochimaru guy from yesterday?" Shikamaru asked.
"Shikamaru before we continue,... I need to tell you something."
"You're from the future?" Shikamaru turned towards Sasuke, seeing no change in his expression.
("It's probably true then…") Shikamaru thought.
Naruto then started talking about how everything happened back in his world.
"So, the fourth ninja world war got started by this long lost Uchiha who turned out to be Kakashi's teammate and worked together with a dead guy named Madara and sent the world to chaos while your team played a major role along with the others to save the world..." Shikamaru concluded.
Sasuke was shocked at Naruto revealing a whole bunch of stuff he never knew.
"You were my advisor, back when I was the seventh Hokage" Naruto said to Shikamaru.
He then turned towards Sasuke as he said
"You were the brother who traveled the world and kept an eye on everything for me as I sat in the Hokage seat and watched over the village..."
Sasuke finally understood why Naruto revealed this truth to him and Shikamaru.
"Naruto….."
Shikamaru squatted down and joined his tigers as he re-analysed the situation according to priority and then spoke
"Right now, this Orochimaru guy who is one of the legendary sanin who wants to take Sasuke's body had appeared yesterday and you foiled his plans."
"From what you told me, looks like he's the type to never let go right?"
"Yes!" Naruto affirmed Shikamaru's thoughts.
"Though the worst part is where the sound village is colluding with the Sand village to destroy Konoha in the second part of the exams where this Orochimaru will pretend to be the 4th Kazekage and Kill the current Third Hokage, Thus resulting in one of the legendary sanins Tsunade to take over as the fifth Hokage." Shikamaru felt his head spin now that he was let in on a plan that involved the village's safety on the line.
"All right, Naruto right now we cannot do many things as we are in the first stage of the exam, so it is best to plan this out in the holidays that appears between the first and the second stage of the battle rounds. Until then Sasuke must not fall into Orochimaru's hands"
Sasuke and Naruto both nodded to Shikamaru's idea
"Naruto, I still find it hard to believe about everything you have said. But I trust you…"
Shikamaru said as he left.
Naruto and Sasuke talked as they walked back to their camp.
"You said, I left Konoha for three years and even joined Akatsuki?"
"Yes!" Naruto nodded.
"Naruto!" Sasuke called out
"Hmm?"
"Thank you for saving me and Sakura yesterday…"
"Its All Right!" Naruto said as he smiled back.
"Its been more than three hours…" Kin complained.
"Patience is virtue" Dosu said as he kept checking the cave Sakura was hiding in.
"That's it, I won't take it anymore." Kin said as she walked towards Sakura.
("Someone is coming") Sakura noticed as she used her kunai to cut the rope beside her which had unleashed a giant log right towards the girl.
At this moment Dosu jumped in front of the girl as he emitted sharp sound waves from his gauntlet that destroyed the giant tree log to smithereens.
What?
Sakura calmed herself down as she took a deep breath,

Sakura unleashed her genjutsu technique on the two and started running away.
At this moment, Zaku who was watching the battle saw his two teammates become stranded in one place while a girl in pink hair ran out of the cave.
"You're not going anywhere." Zaku said as he jumped towards Sakura.
Sakura stopped as she stared at the man making his way in.
(Boom!)
"A hidden hole trap" " Zaku fell underground as soon as he landed upon the grass.
Sakura started to run while they were all trapped.
"Damn it! She got away!" Zaku shouted.
A few metres away, Sasuke and Naruto were making their way over only to see Sakura running forth as she hugged Sasuke.
"What happened?" Sasuke asked as he pushed away Sakura.
"Three people started attacking me suddenly out of nowhere." Sakura said.
The trio rushed to the site to see two people still stranded while the third one tried to dispel the genjutsu.
Zaku finally succeeded in dispelling the genjutsu.
The trio started looking around as they finally spotted Sakura along with Sasuke and Naruto.
"That bastard is here." Zaku said as her turned towards the trio.
Zaku lifted his hands as he aimed

Sasuke jumped along with Sakura to one direction while Naruto to the other.
A huge blast of sound wave destroyed the ground in between leaving only barren sand.
"Heh! He must have been blown to pieces." Zaku announced.
"Who did?" A voice interrupted.
"Huh?!" Zaku turned back to see Sasuke hit him with a back arm as he flew towards Dosu.
"Zaku!" Dosu was concerned since he had never expected Sasuke to be powerful.
("He's fast")
("Moreover, He rescued the girl, and had the time to reappear behind Zaku without him being aware")
Dosu thought in his mind only to see Sasuke take a stance
Sasuke unleashed a few flames in a pattern of a flower as it rushed towards Zaku.
"Don't push your luck!"
"I'll blow them off!"

The sound waves blew out the fire to reveal a bunch of shurikens.
"Shuriken's in the fire?!" Zaku screamed.
The shurikens hit Zaku one by one meanwhile Sasuke reappeared right in front of Zaku.
"Zaku! Below you!" Dosu screamed
"Too late…" Sasuke said as he gave a kick, sending Zaku flying away as he got knocked out.
"Zaku!" Kin called to see if Zaku could wake up.
Zaku however was knocked out cold.
("This is troublesome….") the girl thought.
Meanwhile Sasuke turned towards Dosu and Kin
"One down, two to go...."
Dosu got angry as he ran towards Sasuke.
Sasuke also ran towards Dosu as he started with a kick.
Sasuke's kick landed on the gauntlet, as Dosu used the sound generated to attack Sasuke.
"AAAHHHHHH!!!!!!" Sasuke screamed as he got on his knees and covered both his ears.
His ear drums felt like rupturing at this moment.
Dosu finally regained his calm, only to lose it when he saw Naruto and Sakura rushed towards Sasuke.
Dosu knew that he was forbidden to interact with Naruto, so he took Zaku in his hands and signalled Kin to leave.
"Where are you going?" Naruto asked in an angry voice, unleashing high level of killing intent using Kurama's chakra.
Dosu and Kin felt the world collapse onto them as they fell to the ground.
"w-wait…" Dosu used his will power to blurt out.
Naruto stopped his killing intent.
"What?"
"We can't defeat you right now…" Dosu said as he took out the a navy blue scroll.
"This is our fee for settling this…"
"Please let us withdraw from here."
Naruto stared at the Earth scroll while Dosu walked away….
"What does Orochimaru plan to do?" Naruto asked causing Dosu to stop.
"I don't know…."
"We were just given orders to make the hit on Sasuke."
Naruto stared at Dosu's departing back.
("Orochimaru, will you attack once again in the next three days…..") Naruto thought as he looked towards Sakura who had Sasuke sleep on her lap as she tried to comfort him.
