"huh?" Jiraiya spotted a white feather land on Hiruzen's cap.
Naruto looked up, followed by Sasuke and Genma.
The trio saw the skies filled with falling feathers.
("Genjutsu!") Naruto cursed internally.
("Damn it!") Orochimaru cursed internally as he looked towards the rough direction at where the village gates were located with his expression twisted in anger.
("Kabuto!")
("You just had to ruin it at the best moment…") Orochimaru thought, following which his expression relaxed.
("Life doesn't always go your way, that's just how life is…") Orochimaru thought as he looked towards Hiruzen, Rasa and Jiraiya.
"Kai!" Naruto, Sasuke, Genma released the effect of the genjutsu at the same time.
("Looks like that Kabuto has already set things in motion…") Baki murmured, thinking back to the plan he had received before the betrayal.
Meanwhile…
Somewhere in the village.
There stood a masked ANBU agent who stood on top of a building as he stared at the ghost-like village which had already been evacuated.
("It doesn't matter if people don't die,")
("As long as there is collateral damage, Orochimaru-sama might be satisfied…") Kabuto thought following which he took out a scroll from his ANBU robe and bit a finger to draw blood over the scroll after opening it…
Kabuto then threw the scroll towards the ground.
(POOF!)
A massive cloud of smoke evolved.
"Huh?" Shikaku stared at the cloud from the center of the village.
"Is there an attack from the Northside….?" Inoichi asked.
"HIISSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!" The gigantic monster within the smoke roared in anger.
"What is that?" Chouza asked.
"Hmm…" Shikaku stared at the scene where the clouds were slowly clearing away to reveal a giant three-headed snake.
"We are done for…" Some of the special jounins stationed in the northern part became petrified upon witnessing the sight of the humongous three-headed snake.
Back in the Chuunin Exam stadium...
Sakura, Shikamaru, Gaara, Temari, Kankurō, Kakashi, Haku, Zabuza and the other jounins around the arena released themselves from the genjutsu as well.
Meanwhile, everyone else went to sleep.
"Medical Team!"
"Assume your positions!" Tsunade gave out the order.
"Yes!" The medical platoon responded by distributing themselves around the seating areas of the stadium.
"Looks like she is also here today…" Orochimaru murmured upon seeing the medical squad place themselves around the stadium.
(Whoosh!) an ANBU member landed near Hiruzen.
"Hokage-sama!"
"We have failed to contain the ninjas at the gate." The man said.
"How many of them are on their way to the stadium?" Hiruzen asked.
"Roughly a hundred!" The man replied.
"I see…" Hiruzen said as he looked towards the seating area where the ANBUs and the jounins were placed.
"They should be more than enough to stop the force…" Hiruzen murmured.
"Yes!" The ANBU agent also agreed.
"You may return!" Hiruzen ordered.
"Yes!" The agent responded by vanishing away from the location.
Back on the field…
"Has it started?" Sasuke asked.
"I'm afraid so…" Naruto said.
Sasuke stared at Naruto silently.
"Sasuke!"
"I know what you are thinking; unfortunately, you will not be able to make a difference in this battle just yet!" Naruto said following which he threw a Kunai towards the balcony of the waiting area.
"I understand…" Sasuke murmured with difficulty.
(Whoosh!) Orochimaru landed on the battlefield followed by Hiruzen, Rasa and Jiraiya.
"Orochimaru!" The three of them called out at the same time.
(Whoosh!) The sound ninja five appeared along with Jūgo who stood next to Kimimaro.
"Kimimaro!" Sasuke called out.
"Uchiha Sasuke!" Kimimaro also called out.
The remaining sound ninja four nodded to each other and positioned themselves at four different corners of the stage.
Orochimaru looked at Kimimaro.
Kimimaro understood Orochimaru's expression and looked towards Sasuke.
"How about we continue our match from earlier?" Kimimaro asked.
"Earlier…?" Jūgo looked at Kimimaro.
"I was just about to ask you the same thing…" Sasuke grabbed the hilt of his sword with his right hand.
(Whoosh!) Sasuke and Kimimaro disappeared.
Back on the balcony of the waiting room…
("What is going on..?") Sakura thought as she stared at the field.
Gaara, Kankurō, Temari and Shikamaru stared in silence.
("Good luck, Naruto…") Shikamaru thought as he stared at the battlefield, following which Shikamaru felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Huh…?" Shikamaru turned back to see who it was…
(WHOOSH!)
About a hundred sound ninjas appeared at the same time, following which they landed in different places.
"Zabuza!, Haku!" I'll leave this place to you." Kakashi said.
"Go Kakashi!" Zabuza assured.
(Whoosh!) Kakashi left the seating area…
"Looks like this will be a tough fight…" Haku said as he pulled out three needles in each hand from his opposite sleeves.
"Indeed…" Zabuza agreed as he took out a kunai from his pocket.

Gai sent a ninja flying away with a kick to the butt.
"Gai!" Kakashi shouted following which Gai ducked, and Kakashi slashed at a ninja who was right behind Gai.
"That's my Eternal Rival!" Gai said as he stood back to back with Kakashi.
"Yeah!" Kakashi agreed as they both stared at the ninjas standing opposite to each other.

Hiashi swatted away two sound ninjas as he stood in one place…
Meanwhile…
"Looks like no one needs our assistance at this rate…" Shizune said happily as she stared at the jounins that were stationed around the stadium deal with their opponents so well…
"Of course, after all, we have prepared for any possible contingencies this time!" Tsunade said.
"Why don't we go and help?" Shizune asked.
(Bam!)
Tsunade smacked her head.
"Shizune!"
"Did you forget the basic rules of being a medical ninja?" Tsunade asked.
Shizune stared in silence at her teacher.
"The medical ninjas are the last one to die on the battlefield."
"Next time I see you break that rule, then I am using all your money," Tsunade said.
"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Shizune cried as she begged at Tsunade's feet.
"However, I have to participate in this battle!" Tsunade said as she threw her green jacket and jumped off in the direction of the battlefield.
"Tsunade-samaaaaaa!!" Shizune screamed.
Back on the battlefield…
"Tsunade…" Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Hiruzen murmured as they saw her land on the floor.
(Whoosh!) Naruto appeared between Jiraiya and Hiruzen.
"So much respect for a visit from a former sannin?"
"I must say, I am truly blessed…" Orochimaru spoke in a mocking tone upon seeing the people gathered around him...
"Cut the bullshit Orochimaru!"
"I'm here to KILL YOU!" Rasa shouted.
Orochimaru frowned.
"Kazekage-dono!" Hiruzen called out.
"What?" Rasa looked at Hiruzen.
"Orochimaru is our problem; just leave him to us," Hiruzen said.
"Is that right sensei?" Orochimaru asked.
Hiruzen frowned at this moment.
"Orochimaru!"
"This is between you and me!" Jiraiya stepped out.
"Hehe…" Orochimaru snickered.
Meanwhile, Naruto was pissed off…
After all, he and Jiraiya were the same.
They both would have done anything to bring their teammate back to the village.
"Why are you laughing?" Naruto asked in anger.
"Naruto-kun…" Orochimaru smirked.
"I've got just the perfect gift for you!" Orochimaru said following which he stretched out his left hand along with the index and the middle fingers pointing up.
(Bang!)
A coffin suddenly rose from the underground.
("What?") Naruto and the others stared in surprise.
"I've got a gift for all of you as well!" Orochimaru said following which he waved his hand.
(Bang!)
(Bang!)
Two more coffins rose up from the ground.
Hiruzen and the others were already surprised by the first box; hence they couldn't react in time.
"Hah!" Orochimaru waved his hand, following which, the large lid that covered the three boxes opened up and landed on the floor, followed by the appearance of a cloud of smoke.
Hiruzen had an ominous feeling at the bottom of his heart, thinking back to the times that Orochimaru used to perform experiments.
The ANBU units that were supposed to protect Hiruzen had been redirected to deal with the sound ninjas since Hiruzen had already decided to deal with Orochimaru by himself directly.
However, two ANBU agents stood by the side of the field just in case Hiruzen had called upon them…
Orochimaru looked towards one of the four sound ninjas around the corners of the field…
"Do It!" Orochimaru ordered.
"Yes, Sir!" Kidōmaru, Jirōbō, Tayuya, and Sakon responded from each corner by joining their palms against each other.
< Barrier Jutsu - Four Flames Formation! >
The four announced following which a purple colored flame barrier rose into the air.
("What?") The ANBU agents were stunned.
(Whoosh!)
One of the agents charged against the barrier.
"Don't!" Tenzō shouted.
*Lights up in flames*
"AARRGHHH!!!!!" The ANBU agent screamed following which he fell down and turned into ashes.
("Shit!") Tenzō cursed.
Inside the barrier the smoke finally cleared away, revealing all the three figures inside.
"This…" Rasa was stunned.
"Grandpa…" Tsunade murmured upon seeing Hashirama.
"Sensei" Hiruzen murmured upon seeing Tobirama.
"Damn you…" Jiraiya cursed upon seeing the last figure, following which he turned to see Naruto.
"Dad…"
