Hey Guys,
Just wanted to give an update on what was going on.
As you all have noticed, the past week had irregular releases.
I am trying my best to bring that back in order.
University work has been burdening me for the past few weeks, especially the recent week that passed by...
Somehow, I managed to do my work just in time for a date, before which I worked two overnighters to pull off the stunt.
Despite my limitations, I have finally finished the new cover that I had promised on.
Though, the fact still remains that I am a newbie at Photoshop so excuse my shortcomings on that one.
For the upcoming chapters, like before I have not planned anything just yet as I am writing with a flow, One chapter every day...
However, I have decided to release a flashback compilation chapter right after the moment the two arrive on the battlefield. (Don't worry, it will be a double chapter release since one is flashback!)
Back to my date.
I am the kind of guy who does not talk with any girl, ever unless it's a project or school work.
This girl and I have never really talked before, just Hi and Bye every day for the past five months,
The first time I met her, she asked my name.
I told her it was impossible for her to spell it, and I told my family name instead.
She went to my hostel room door to see my name and learned it.
I was flabbergasted. But the next thing that happened totally stunned me.
She pronounced my name without any difficulties, just like the people from my place would.
From that point on, she never forgot my name, and always smiled at me.
We barely meet each other during the day, despite living on the same apartment floor.
Everyday Early morning when I go to take bath (I get up earlier than others and so does she!)
she is the first person I see in the morning, and when she says Hi with a bright smile on her face, it just makes my day and everything that follows seems to be better than I expect.
Her existence has been my sunshine, during my time in the hostel.
I had made a few friends next door, during my stay.
The hostel I live in is pretty expensive, so my neighbour said he was moving two days later...
I was shocked. I realized that there was a possibility she may move too.
I knew, I had to make my move within this limited time I had, But we only greet each other and nothing else.
My girl lives in a room with four other girls, so it will be really hard for me to approach them due to my character. and it would also be weird if I had approached them without any reason.
So I decided to play the Birthday card here.
I bought chocolates, and brought them over.
My friends in the hostel were like dude isn't your birthday on 13th April?
"Uhh..."
Then I explained the situation to them.
"Go for it man, we get the treat and you get the girl." They said.
("Obviously it's not going to be simple right?") I thought.
It was Feb 14 morning, (Yes! I did this on this recent valentines day!)
I knocked the door with my heart pounding.
*Door Opens*
("Lucky me, She was the one!")
("Looks like other three are sleeping! HAHA!")
Then I summoned my courage to ask her out after giving chocolates.
"I was wondering if you are free today, maybe we could go out for dinner?"
She stared a bit weirdly at me.
"As friends of course!" I said.
"I am busy today..." She said.
("Oh, well, That was too much high hopes, I mean who am I kidding, its valentines! It is as clear as a day, what my current intentions are!") I thought.
"I might be free around 7" she said.
("I WON ONE TRILLION DOLLARS!!") I screamed in my mind.
"All right!"
"I'll let you know the plans!" I said as I walked away.
The hostel has a whatsapp group, so I knew her number already.
I then messaged her the plans, and she confirmed she would be available by 7.
It was 6pm.
("Time to take bath and be completely clean and ready!") I thought.
By 7pm I was dressing up.
7:05 i stepped out of my room.
("WTF?") I thought as I stared at my girl standing there.
She handed over a small box with a cake in it.
"Happy Birthday!" She wished me.
("WHAT HAVE I DONE, I TRIED TO PLAY A BIRTHDAY CARD ON THIS GIRL???")
("I AM DOOMED!") I thought as I collected the cake and placed it on my table.
We then went for dinner and shopping, a two hour long date i would never forget for the rest of my life.
On the way back There was a guy who played her favourite song..
She said that made her day perfect.
I instantly realized that was her favourite song.
Luckily I managed to grab a recording of it, and later on found the name of it.
While we were walking back...
"What would you do If someone told you a lie?" I asked.
"Hmm?" She stared at me for a while before she gave me an answer.
Her answer though I cannot word it here, I know I had put myself on a tightrope. Surely someday before my birthday I will let her know, but the problem was the people around us who already knew, especially one of them being her roommate.
It has been three days since then...
She has not given me any hints on her current feelings just like the cliffhanger I leave you guys at. (Now I know your pain - lol! )
I am trying to come up with new ways to impress her.
She's an Indonesian so that's one step I have to come across,
two she does not see anime nor films or tv shows for that sake and her only interest remains in music. She's a pianist (I used to be too, so I going to impress her with that if possible! haha)
I need suggestions from you guys if possible.
My current plan is to sing and play her song on the piano just for her.
It's called Love Confession by Jay Chou. a Chinese song that was played during our date by a guy who was busy busking. Truly a wonderful song! (I literally emptied my wallet on the spot to try and impress her by handing the money over to that guy, partly also because he truly made her moment that day with the song and all.)
I have managed to learn the lyrics despite my linguistic barrier, now all I gotta do is work up a little magic on these rusty fingers of mine to shine the piano keys.
Ah!
I forgot to mention, she already has a guy she likes who is in the country i am staying at.
Apparently they have been besties for over 7 years just that recently she hasn't been able to meet him because she has been busy...
Looks like Author-sama is doomed, but I will not give up because That's my Ninja Way!
So far I hope you guys like the chapters that I have written.
Once again I want everyone to appreciate the fact that the work that all the original authors do are free and are not really pushed by money like many other novels, except in very little cases where the chapters are being supported on *******.
