After Qiao Fei gathered the DNA samples, he quickly went back to the city so Qin Chu could get the samples tested . When the results came back, Qiao Fei’s face fell .
“President Qin, after multiple tests, we have concluded that these samples are from the same person . ” The doctor handed Qin Chu a lock of a hair and a blood test .

Qiao Fei had given the doctor this lock of Lu Yan’s hair; he kept it in a small pouch and took it everywhere . He heard that this was an ancient custom in China – husbands and wives were tied together by a streak of hair, symbolizing their union .
The blood was collected from the forest in Yunnan, and the doctor just told them that it belonged to Lu Yan .
When Qiao Fei heard what the doctor said, he almost broke down .
This news took an emotional toll on Qin Chu as well… Huo Mian was still unconscious and her baby was gone . Lu Yan was missing, Su Yu was suffering from a concussion, and Huo Siqian blew up into a million pieces . How was he supposed to handle all this news?
“Did you double check?” Qin Chu reconfirmed .
“I did… we tested it three times and are sure it’s from the same person… it seems like whoever left the blood in the forest has been injured for at least 24 hours . If you haven’t found them yet, they might be dead by now…”
