The surging Gene Arcana formed a giant vortex in the sky as it drew in all the surrounding Gene Arcana in a frenzy.
Every second, a large amount of Gene Arcana was absorbed into Ling Jiu’s body. They were divided by his cells first before being stored in his veins and meridians.
Several moments later, his veins and meridians were completely filled with Gene Arcana. Then, just like how a full bottle could no longer be filled with water, once his veins and meridians were loaded, he was unable to absorb any more Gene Arcana.

Ling Jiu admitted to himself that he had screwed up. He later found a small portion of Gene Arcana in his meridians and began to compress them.
With less to work with, his progress went smoothly. Soon after, the Gene Arcana were compressed into a little sesame-sized Gene Arcana Core!
“This is my very first Gene Arcana Core, or perhaps a Gene Arcana Core prototype? While it’s small, the energy it contains is quite amazing!” Ling Jiu muttered to himself and started to compress more Gene Arcana.
As he continued compressing, the Gene Arcana Core expanded slowly, very slowly. Nevertheless, it was expanding.
After some time, all of the Gene Arcana in his meridians were depleted. Meanwhile, the Gene Arcana Core had transformed from the size of a sesame seed to the size of a cherry.
It was now as big as a cherry, but that was still very small.
In fact, it looked rather insignificant.
Miraculously, Ling Jiu could clearly sense a difference in his surroundings at that very moment.
He felt as if he was one with heaven and earth, and he could see the tiniest speck of dust, as well as the oxygen molecules, in the air…
If he wanted to, he could even separate oxygen and nitrogen.
“Is this the Arcana Field?” Ling Jiu muttered to himself.
The Arcana Field was another mark of a Level 6 Arcanist, and some thought that the Arcana Field was an ability that came with the Gene Arcana Core.
No matter how it came about, a Level 6 Arcanist would have an Arcana Field.
Level 6 Arcanists could control everything within their Arcana Fields…
The air, the earth, the soil, the dust, the magnetic field, the gravity…
Everything was under his control.
That was why Arcanists below Level 6 were no match at all against a Level 6 Arcanist.

Therefore, against a lower level Arcanist, a Level 6 Arcanist had absolute overwhelming strength. Cross-level combat was essentially not applicable from Level 6 onwards.
