Seeing the placement for numbers two and three on the leaderboard, all of the students were stunned.
Yang Ling’er and Ai Yuhe had been ranked eighth and ninth all this while; that had been the case for the past few weeks.

Ai Yuhe nodded slightly. She was not embarrassed about riding on Ling Jiu’s coattails, and she did not care what others said.
She had already learned to let go. What good did “face” do her anyway?
The Superior life-enhancing liquid, the Superior Gene Arcana strengthening liquid, and the right to train on the first level of Underground Room 12 were the most important; the rest were not.
“No wonder their ranks improved so much; they teamed up with Ling Jiu!”

After receiving Ai Yuhe’s answer, all of the students went into an uproar as they started to talk about it. Some were jealous, while some were bitter and angry.
The most unhappy of the lot were naturally Zhou Ji, Christopher, and Hirano Hatake. However, they were men beyond anything else, so they would not show their displeasure outwardly.
In comparison, the female European and American students like Christina Millie could no longer bear it. She immediately called them out.
“You cheat! You’re clearly cheating! With your strength, you are nowhere close to being second or third! You’re cheating by purely relying on Ling Jiu!”
Christina Millie rushed up to Ai Yuhe and Yang Ling’er as she growled angrily. “You two b*tches, without Ling Jiu, you guys aren’t even worth lifting my shoes for me. You two cheaters! Shameless cheaters!”
She had originally been ranked fifth, and after following Hirano Hatake closely, she had been able to enjoy an Intermediate-level Life-enhancing Liquid, Intermediate-level Gene Arcana Strengthening Liquid, and the right to use the second level of Underground Room 12. She thought that after putting in a bit more effort, she would be able to progress even further!
When the results were revealed, not only did she gain zero progress, but she dropped to seventh place. So, how could she take it lying down?

The two other female students who were ranked sixth and seventh also stood up as they tore Ai Yuhe and Yang Ling’er apart.
Both Ai Yuhe and Yang Ling’er’s pretty faces were flushed with anger, but they were powerless to refute the accusations.
Although the formation of their team was in line with the training camp’s rules and there was no problem at all, they did ride on Ling Jiu’s coattails. On top of that, they had indeed damaged Christina Millie and the other two girls’ interests.

Since they could not argue back, they might as well leave, so Ai Yuhe pulled Yang Ling’er away.

“In front of everyone here, give us your word that you will never team up with Ling Jiu again, or else you can forget about leaving!” Christina Millie said disdainfully.
“That’s our own business, and it has nothing to do with you!”
Ai Yuhe was as cold as ice. “If you have the ability, look for Ling Jiu and team up with him then!”

Christina Millie was so pissed that she was at a loss for words. She wanted to team up with Ling Jiu too, and she had looked for him more than once. Sadly, it had ended with Ling Jiu not answering her calls!
He never replied to her messages either!
Even when she had tried to seduce Ling Jiu in private, he had straight-up ignored her.

Before Christina Millie could finish her sentence, the sound of a crisp slap rang out.
Everyone looked over in shock and saw Christina Millie cry all of a sudden. She clutched her cheeks as a trace of blood oozed out of the corner of her mouth.
“Who was it? You dare to hit me?”
Christina Millie’s eyes turned red.
“Your mouth is like a feces pit in the countryside during the summer. You just stink. It’s not your fault that you stink, but when you come out to pollute the place, then it becomes your fault!”
An indifferent voice rang out as everyone looked over to find a figure squeeze himself out of the crowd. It was the handsome Ling Jiu.
