"What a coincidence! We meet again," Yang Ying exclaimed when he saw Jiang Liushi and his members approaching them.
"Some people really like fooling around. They offended that officer as soon as they came here. Don't you think so?" Yang Ying taunted. Even before the sound of his voice faded away, he noticed Jiang Liushi glaring at him. Jiang Liushi's eyes were so cold that Yang Ying could not help but remember the scene of the level-2 mutant zombie's death; it had shocked him to the core.
However, he kept his calm and said, "Well, what do you want to do?" Yang Ying was a little bit angry from embarrassment. In his mind, Jiang Liushi had annoyed Officer Wan, and even if they could enter the Safety Zone, he and his team would crush the Shi Ying Squad in the future.
"What a poor fella! You're just like a dog depending on its master's power to intimidate others," Jiang Zhuying said coldly.
"It doesn't really matter where we are if I want your life. You should discard you novel thoughts of targeting me through others. It's a stupid action," Jiang Liushi said coldly.
Yang Ying felt a little scared after hearing that. However, his confidence returned after noticing that Wan Lan and the other two officers were coming their way. He was pretty sure that Jiang Liushi would not dare to lay a finger on him.

Ji Xiangming was also excited, and he walked toward the convoy. Jiang Liushi and the other survivors stood to the side and looked at them.
The people in the military vehicles were tanned, and their military uniforms were stained with blood. Jiang Liushi wondered why a general would personally lead such a team. She immediately glared at the survivors and warned them, "General Zhang is coming! You'd better be well-behaved!" And then, she stared at Jiang Liushi.
Jiang Liushi frowned. Although he didn't care about the female officer, she was becoming more and more excessive.
"You're sure trying hard to please the leading officer," Jiang Liushi remarked coldly.
"What did you say?" Wan Lan barked. "You are absolutely lawless. You survivors have a special ability and think you're something, but in reality you-" She came to an abrupt stop as Jiang Liushi pointed behind her. Wan Lan immediately understood what was happening and her expression turned ugly.
"Why is there such a commotion? Who are you scolding?" General Zhang asked with a smile. And then he glanced past her and noticed Jiang Liushi. General Zhang was astonished.
Jiang Liushi was not any better after looking at General Zhang. It was inconceivable that they'd meet there.
Wan Lan saluted the general and tried to explain while pointing at Jiang Liushi, "Reporting! General Zhang, he is the one who has been causing trouble since he entered. Moreover, he ignored my warnings. I don't think he should be allowed to join our safety zone."
Jiang Liushi snapped out of his daze and retorted, "When did I make trouble? Do you think that you're the safety zone's sole representative!?"
Wan Lan was fuming in anger after hearing that. She couldn't believe that Jiang Liushi would act audaciously in front of General Zhang.
"You're still trying to argue? You are clearly trying to make trouble!" Wan Lan said anxiously, "How could someone like you be of help to the military? You are like mouse dung, which will ruin a pot of soup!"
"In other words, you're just opposed to this team because you think that they won't bring any positive effect to the military if they join?" General Zhang asked after listening to her accusations.
"Yes!" Wan Lan answered passionately as Jiang Liushi had totally annoyed her.
At the same time, Yang Ying took pleasure in Jiang Liushi's misfortune. In his mind, Jiang Liushi was doomed, and he would be forced to leave. He also thought that it was the best choice to use Wan Lan to drive them out. "I beg to differ. This team has helped me quite a lot." General Zhang smiled and walked in front of Jiang Liushi. "Little Jiang, it's nice to see you again."
"General Zhang, the pleasure is mine," Jiang Liushi replied.

"My bad, Old Zhang!" Jiang Liushi laughed and said again.
General Zhang smiled. "The scientists you escorted are safe. Thank you!"
"Don't mention it," Jiang Liushi replied.
General Zhang had cooperated with Jiang Liushi back in Shenhai Island. Moreover, General Zhang held in high respect Jiang Liushi.
Jiang Liushi had heard that General Zhang had led his soldiers to attack the Beast Nest near Shenhai Island and that he was heavily injured. Naturally, Jiang Liushi was delighted by the fact that the old general was still alive and kicking.
