Qingfeng Li took out nine silver needles and punctured the damaged meridians. There were acupuncture points near these wounds and Qingfeng Li inserted his needles into points.
After the nine needles went in, Qingfeng Li started shaking the needles slowly; making it vibrate. A mysterious strength went into the elder's body and started curing the damaged wounds.
"I feel numbness in my body." The elder said.
"That's right. That means the shrunken meridians are starting to recover." Qingfeng Li explained.
The elder nodded. He also felt that his meridians were recovering bit by bit. They weren't stiff anymore.
Qingfeng Li continued to vibrate the needles. The force was mysterious and was able to cure the elder's damaged meridians and neutralize the congestions.
After half an hour the elder's face became red again; it was a sign of healthy circulation of blood.
Qingfeng Li took out the needles and put them back into his pocket. He said, "Your damaged meridians were cured. For the next month try not to move around too much and rest more. Eat some ginseng, birds nest soup, shark fin, and abalone to help you recover. Try not to eat spicy and cold food."
The elder nodded and stood up. He felt that his state was a lot better than before.
"Mister, thank you for saving my elder Xia." Qingcheng Xia said. She was extremely grateful.
"Mistress Xia, it is time for you to fulfill your promise."
"This is our VVIP card. Whenever you come and shop you will be purchasing at the lowest price."
"Not bad. Ruyan take it." Qingfeng Li accepted the VVIP card and gave it to Ruyan Liu. He didn't even look at the card.
Qingcheng Xia was moved and jealous. Ruyan Liu was so lucky to have Qingfeng Li as her boyfriend.
The All Well Corporation was one of the top-500 companies in Huaxia, and top-10 in Chinese medicine retailing. Their VVIP card was worth hundreds of thousands, but in front of Qingfeng Li it didn't mean anything; he gave it to Ruyan Liu right away. This made Qingcheng Xia curious about Qingfeng Li's status.
Qingfeng Li and Ruyan Liu wrote a shopping list and gave it to Qingcheng Xia. Then the two left the building.
Qingfeng Li wanted to stay a bit more in the store, but Ruyan Liu didn't want him to because Qingcheng Xia was secretly looking at Qingfeng Li when they were looking around. She knew how charming Qingfeng Li was because most of the girls he met would start to like him after some interactions.
Qingfeng Li was depressed and left the store with Ruyan Liu. This made her mad and she said, "What, did you want to have some deeper interaction with mistress Qingcheng Xia."
"No, why would I? I don't have any feelings for her."
"But she does have feelings for you."
"Ruyan, are you jealous?" Qingfeng Li said with a smile.
Ruyan Liu shook her head and said, "Nope. I just didn't like the way she was looking at you."
Qingfeng Li was out of words. She was being jealous of others.
It was 7:00 pm after they finished shopping for medicine. Qingfeng Li dropped Ruyan Liu back home.
"Brother-in-law, you came?" Jiaojiao Liu said passionately after she saw Qingfeng Li and her sister came back.
"Jiaojiao, you got prettier again." Qingfeng Li smiled and said.
Jiaojiao Liu's face reddened up after she got praised. It made her shy.
"Qingfeng it is so late. You cook tonight." Ruyan Liu said.
Qingfeng Li nodded and walked into the kitchen. He cooked four dishes, two types of meat and two vegetables. Then he cooked another pot of congee.
In a short moment, the room was filled with delicious smells. Jiaojiao Liu was screaming that she was hungry and rushed into the kitchen to bring the dishes out.
Qingfeng Li's dishes were too tasty and were finished in matters of seconds.
"I am so full." Ruyan Liu petted her stomach and said.
"Ruyan, you should go on a diet." Qingfeng Li said.
What, want me to lose weight?
Ruyan Liu wasn't happy and said, "I am skinny; I don't need to lose weight."
"Look at you, your stomach is getting bigger every day. I don't like girls with a big stomach."
Qingfeng Li said with a resentful tone. Ruyan Liu didn't allow them to have sex recently and Qingfeng Li was pissed about it.
Ruyan Liu was pissed. It was because of Qingfeng Li that her stomach became so big. He didn't have the right to talk about her stomach.
"I am going to sleep." Ruyan Liu glared at Qingfeng Li and went upstairs to sleep.
Qingfeng Li was baffled. He only said she got fatter, why would she get so angry. He didn't know why she was so pissed.
"Brother-in-law, you are in trouble." Jiaojiao Liu said with a smile. She was like a little fox. Obviously she knew why her sister was mad, but she wouldn't tell Qingfeng Li.
"Jiaojiao, what happened?"
"I don't know either."
"You really don't know?" Qingfeng Li looked at Jiaojiao Liu. He thought she was lying to him, but he couldn't do anything to force her to tell him.
Ruyan Liu went upstairs to sleep and Qingfeng Li felt bored. He stood up to leave the villa.
He found out Jiaojiao Liu was following him when he walked out. He asked, "Jiaojiao, why are you following me?"
"Brother-in-law, I didn't tell my sister that Xue Lin came over to eat last time. You promised me a favor." Jiaojiao Liu said.
Qingfeng Li stopped, then he nodded and said, "Thank you for that. So what do you want me to do?"
"Brother-in-law, I want to go to the bar and have a drink with you." Jiaojiao Liu said. She didn't go to the bar for a long time and wanted to go tonight. Coincidently Qingfeng Li was here so she wanted him to tag along.
"Fine, I will go to the bar with you." Qingfeng Li smiled. He couldn't reject because she had his secret in her hand. He could only obey her.
Qingfeng Li drove to the bar with Jiaojiao Liu in his Maserati.
