Jianhuang Zhao waved his hand and said immediately, "Of course I agree with it."
Xiao Gui, who was in front of him was much stronger than he was. There was no way that he would dare to revolt.
Jianhuang Zhao pointed at the Third Elder beside him and said, "You shall go! Use the long blade in your hand and chop off her head."
Third Elder took the long blade in his hands and walked in front of Linger Yao.
"Linger Yao, today will be the end of your life. Aren't you so powerful, you were even able to stop me from killing Qingfeng Li," the Third Elder looked at Linger Yao, who was lying on the ground with blood leaking from her mouth, and said coldly. There was no pity in his eyes, only ridicule.
Linger Yao looked pale, her mouth bleeding constantly. Her clothes were dyed red by the blood but she didn't say anything. She just looked at the Third Elder coldly.
The Third Elder was full of rage because of the peaceful expression in Linger Yao's eyes. He felt that the woman in front of him was about to die soon and should be begging for mercy now, but Linger Yao didn't. She just looked at her peacefully which didn't give him the feeling that he was important.
"Linger Yao, that boy toy, Qingfeng Li. Why didn't he come and save you?" Third Elder sneered at Linger Yao.
Linger Yao finally opened her mouth, but her voice was chilling and he said, "The time when Qingfeng Li is here will be the time of your death."
Third Elder smiled coldly and started to talk, "Your mouth is tough. Even if Qingfeng Li is here, he wouldn't be able to save you. Our sect master is here and he can even kill Qingfeng Li, too."
Xiao Gui saw that the Third Elder and Linger Yao were talking and started to look impatient. These two guys were talking too much.
"Third Elder, stop talking. Kill Linger Yao immediately and bring over her head now," Xiao Gui commanded the Third Elder.
"Yes, Sect Master." The Third Elder nodded and raised the long blade in his hands, hacking towards the neck of Linger Yao on the ground.
Linger Yao now was seriously injured and the vital essence in her body was all exhausted. She couldn't escape, nor attack. All she could do was watching the long blade of the Third Elder cutting towards her neck.
Feeling the murderous intent and the deep coldness of the long blade, Linger Yao closed her eyes, feeling desperate but also peaceful.
Linger Yao was the sect master of the Demonic-Imperial Sect and also the best in the Demonic Dao. But now, she was dying.
Before dying, Linger Yao thought a lot, and she began recollecting the memories of her past life.
When Linger Yao was about three years old, she was adopted as a disciple by the previous sect master of Demonic-Imperial Sect and from that time on, she started to practice at the Demonic-Imperial Sect.
She was gifted since a young age with great comprehension abilities. She would understand the demon techniques as soon as she learnt them, allowing her to quickly reach the Spirit Emperor Realm at a young age and become the strongest in the Demonic Dao.
In the previous twenty years, Linger Yao had been practicing all the time until she met Qingfeng Li at the Kunlun Mountain forbidden area. From that time, she started to understand how different life could be and how nice it was to be taken care of by a man.
But now, Linger Yao wouldn't be able to see Qingfeng Li anymore, the one that cared about her. Linger Yao felt a little regret, regretting that she couldn't see the man that she had feelings for before death,
"Qingfeng Li, goodbye now. I hope that I will see you again in the after life." Linger Yao started talking to herself.
At the moment that Qingfeng Li arrived at the forest, he saw the Third Elder lifting up the long blade in his hand and swinging it towards Linger Yao's head.
"Third Elder, how dare you?" The look on Qingfeng Li's face changed and a cold light flashed in his eyes. At that time, he was about a hundred meters away from Linger Yao, so it was too late to fly over and stop him.
At the critical moment, Qingfeng Li channeled the vital essence in his body and stretched out his right index finger. He pointed towards the front and shot a green light out.
That green light came like the unforeseen, like coming from another world, containing invincible power and breaking through the air, tearing apart space. It arrived immediately at the long blade of the Third Elder. You can only hear a bang sound and see that the long blade broke into two.
The green light was not weak. It was the Conqueror's Finger, which was taught to Qingfeng by his father, and he used it to save Linger Yao.
The long blade in Third Elder's hand broke into two and didn't hurt Linger Yao at all. She had escaped from the knife.
Qingfeng Li used this time and stomped off the ground with strength. His body flew up like a lightning flash and suddenly arrived at the side of Linger Yao.
Qingfeng Li saw Linger Yao's bleeding mouth and the big hole in her stomach. Her whole body was dyed with blood and her dress was ripped with many injuries covering her body. Qingfeng Li's face started to look gloomy and his eyes filled with coldness.
Qingfeng Li never imagined that Linger Yao was hurt so badly.
Damn Xiao Gui and Jianhuang Zhao! How dare they treated Linger Yao like this. Raging flames raised in Qingfeng Li's heart.
As you know, the reason why Linger Yao was hurt so greatly was all because of Qingfeng Li himself. She protected him and thus offended Xiao Gui and Jianhuang Zhao and was hunted down by them.
"Linger Yao, are you all right?" Qingfeng Li said with concern.
Hearing the familiar voice, Linger Yao opened her eyes, feeling amazed. She thought she was dying just now and was already silently saying goodbye to Qingfeng Li. She did not expect to hear his voice, not to mention actually seeing him in person, the next moment.
"Am I dreaming now? Did I arrive at hell already?" Linger Yao was pale and said in a daze.
Qingfeng Li waved his head with love and concern in his eyes and said, "You are not dreaming. I am here."
Keke!!
As soon as Linger Yao spoke, her scabbing injuries were opened again and blood began coming out from her mouth. Qingfeng felt like his heart was being stabbed at the sight of this.
Qingfeng Li quickly said, "Linger Yao, please stop talking. I will heal you."
Qingfeng Li reached out his right hand and wiped the blood off of her face and mouth. Then he used his left hand to pat her back. He started to infuse his vital essence into her through his hand.
Looking at Qingfeng Li healing Linger Yao, a cold light flashed in the eyes of Third Elder beside them. He felt like he was being ignored and insulted by them. He was standing right beside them, yet Qingfeng just ignored him, not responding to him at all and jumping straight to healing Linger Yao.
Because Qingfeng Li was healing Linger Yao, his back was facing the Third Elder, which provided him a chance.
"Qingfeng Li, since you want to die, I will grant your wish," the Third Elder sneered with coldness in his eyes.
He suddenly lashed out with his right hand, clawing viciously at Qingfeng Li's heart from the back, trying to tear apart his chest apart.
