1364 Shocked
Li Qing was feeling Duke North’s pulse very carefully at the moment.
He found that Duke North’s cold was getting better, after Lady Chaoyan told him about this. It was not very serious any more, probably because Lady Chaoyan’s pill worked. Duke North should recover soon.
They would need to boil some medical soup so that they could arrive in the capital safe and sound.
Li Qing finally felt assured.
By this point, he had some more energy to answer Duke North’s questions.

Lady Chaoyan and Lord Huai are having a difficult time with their wedding, because the Queen is gone and they need to postpone the wedding time, maybe even for two years.”
“In the capital, there are many people watching them, so they should respect each other.”
“However, they are not in the capital, so they can be closer if they want.”
“Let’s just try not to disturb Lady Chaoyan.”

As they were talking Li Qing finished writing the prescriptions.
When the prescription was done, he was about to leave and fetch the medicine.
They had taken some herbs with them on the way home, and the medicine they had with them should be of some help.
Yu Feng could help with the medicine making as well.
Li Qing started to focus on his own business rather than noticing Duke North’s twisted face. However, when he was done, he saw that Duke North had a pale look on his face and his fists were tightly clenched.
He was so seriously sick and yet Chaoyan was not worried about him neither did she care about him at all?!
She had ignored him, but started to have a closer relationship with Zhou Huaijin?
They were not engaged so they should not be so close to each other before they got married. That was totally against etiquette!
They still had two years before they got married, right? Many things could be changed within two years’ time.
Duke North smiled brieftly.
If he was not sick enough that she started to worry about him, then he was going to make her worry about him all the time.
Chaoyan looked cold, but she was a very kind-hearted person, and she was a doctor so she would definitely check up on him if he was very sick.

As Duke North was thinking about this he failed to notice that Li Qing came in again.
