When Ye Qiao called the prison to confirm, she received news that Qin Lan had attempted suicide by swallowing a blade and was sent to the hospital for resuscitation.

Not long after, two tall male doctors wearing masks and white coats came in. The female prison guard assigned to watch Qin Lan stood up and was ready to take out the keys to uncuff Qin Lan.

After the female prison guard removed her handcuffs, the two male doctors carried Qin Lan onto a hospital bed and prepared to push her away.
