There was an empty playground nearby where the helicopter could land directly.
“Are you having menstrual cramps?” he turned back to her and asked seriously.
Ye Qiao was slightly stunned. Her face turned red as she felt shy from his question. To her, it was a rather sensitive topic.

“It’s alright…” she lowered her head and said with a red face.
“Why are you embarrassed? You can tell Mr ‘King’ but you can’t tell me?” he lifted her red little face up towards him.
“It does hurt. Brother Xiao, don’t be angry, okay? I accidentally mentioned about it. It was not intentional,” Ye Qiao said as she began to get teary.
“It’s alright. It is my fault. I only come home a few days a year. Of course there is a lot I do not know about you,” he softened his voice. He felt a little guilty towards her.
Ye Qiao was touched by his words and said with red eyes, “Brother Xiao, don’t say that. You’re a busy man, I understand and support your work. I’ll take care of myself.”
He held her face in his palm, lowered his head and kissed her lips.
“Remember what you said. Take care of yourself. Don’t run around so much anymore. Let that little punk stay on your blacklist forever. I have to go, I’m sorry.”
“Okay!” Ye Qiao smiled but her eyes were red and teary.
“Don’t cry,” he turned around once more and said to her.
Ye Qiao was reluctant to part with her husband again. She couldn’t help but go up to him and say, “Brother Xiao, let me see you out.”
“Are you sure you want to see Da Sha and the others?” he smiled and looked at her dotingly.
“No! Nevermind!”
“Forget it then!” Ye Qiao pouted and said. As she spoke, he gave a gentle slap to her buttock.
“Go back in! Be good!” he said once more.
She watched him walk further and further away before finally disappearing into the depths of the alley towards the helicopter.
Lu Beixiao’s current mission did not involve him having to kill people but rather to save them. He was being to sent to the frontlines to help with damage control after the flood.
