After the Head of Year finished his sentence, Qin Lan almost fainted.
Meanwhile, Ye Qiao was standing not too far away. Everything was within her expectation, so she was not overly excited. However, it was pleasing to see Qin Lan’s reaction! She was just so happy a moment ago. The funniest part of all was seeing her teachers congratulating Qin Lan.

“Please hang the banner onto the school’s entrance!” The Head of Year said.
On the banner, it read, “Congratulations to our student, Ye Qiao, for scoring the top in the town for the 96th year!”
“Aunt Ye, where is Zhenzhen? I found her score. She scored 552 marks!” Just when Qin Lan was looking at the glaring banner, a girl who got along with Ye Zhenzhen very well came and asked.
When Qin Lan heard Zhenzhen’s score, it was like adding salt onto her wound! Qin Lan was struck again! Her body almost fell backward.

“She must be angry! She was so confident that her daughter would get into J University earlier, yet it was her stepdaughter who got in. Of course, she would be mad!” A boy commented.
Qin Lan quickly regained her composure and took off the Hermes scarf on her neck. “It’s the heat; it’s the heat. The weather is getting too hot. I feel faint easily.”
“Both Ye Qiao and Zhenzhen are my precious daughters. I am beyond happy that Ye Qiao scored the top in town!”
Qin Lan gritted her teeth and swallowed her anger.
In reality, she was so mad that even her organs were trembling!
“Ye Qiao, please come over here!” The head-of-year shouted into the loudspeaker.
Ye Qiao walked over.
“Ye Qiao, you’ve always scored average marks in class; how did you get to the top? Can you share with us the process?” The Head of Year said as he passed the loudspeaker to Ye Qiao.
Cheating? That’s impossible. The examination venue was so heavily monitored that even a fly could not get in.
The examiner was bribed? No way. Even the school principal did not know where their papers were sent for marking!
The only possible reason was that Ye Qiao was a dark horse!
“Actually, there’s no need to be so shocked. I have always reserved my true ability during the school examinations and only did my best during the official exam!” Ye Qiao smiled confidently.
How sneaky! Her peers sighed.
Ye Qiao’s words were another slap to Qin Lan’s face! Zhenzhen also said that she reserved her ability when she scored badly, and yet… the outcome was completely different!
Where was Ye Zhenzhen? She was going to get killed!
