Cheng Dafei looked at her with an attentive smile. The more he looked at her, the prettier she became! And, the more he wanted to get her!
“Ye Qiao, are you going back home? Why don’t we go to for a swim? It’s so hot today… what a perfect day for swimming!”
Swimming? If her Xiao knew about it, he would probably kill her!
“Cheng Dafei, I am not free today. Please get out of my way!” Ye Qiao replied coldly.

“Cheng Dafei, are you looking for death?! Do you know who she is?!” At that moment, Beichi came out from the recording studio, and he yelled at Dafei.
“She is Ye Qiao!” Cheng Dafei looked dumbfounded by Beichi’s odd question.
“She is–” My sister-in-law! Beichi stopped as he saw that Ye Qiao gave him a look. He promised her to keep her relationship with Xiao a secret.
“She isn’t someone you can go after! Get lost!” Beichi yelled at him. Though he was very reluctant to help Ye Qiao, he was certainly afraid of Xiao!
Xiao told him that night that if any guys were trying to go after Ye Qiao, he was responsible for chasing them away; otherwise, he would be dead when Xiao returned.
“Oh, Chi, don’t tell me that you are in love with Qiao?” Cheng Dafei grinned evilly.
Ye Qiao already went downstairs by then, but she could hear what Dafei said.
It was the 20th of August – today was her first day of school! She had only received notice about the make-up lessons the day before yesterday!
After Ye Qiao got up from the bed, the first thing she did was to open the calendar. “The 14th day without seeing Xiao! It has been two weeks…” She muttered to herself before taking a long pink paper from the drawer. She folded the paper into a star and placed it into a glass jar. This was the 14th star she folded.

“I was blind back then! Okay? I don’t want to talk to you anymore. Stay away from me! Just make sure you don’t let Xichuan find out!” Then, Ye Qiao walked away abruptly with big strides.
On her way to school, Ye Qiao almost got lost. In the 20 years that had passed, she had already long forgotten about school.
Li Yun, who was wearing a polka dot puffed sleeve dress, walked towards Ye Qiao as soon as she saw her. “Qiao Qiao, you are finally here! I was going to starve to death!”
