Ye Qiao climbed to the third floor in one breath and headed to the room, which was at the very end. Qiao Tian’s clothes were hanging on the balcony… this kid was finally living a decent lifestyle.
The door was opened, and Ye Qiao found Qiao Tian just lying on the chair with a photo frame in his hand while smoking. He quickly hid the photo as he saw Ye Qiao.
Ye Qiao crossed her arms and snorted. “What did you just hide? Qiao Tian, could you at least value yourself a little more? What’s so good about that fake bitch for you to miss her this much?!”
Qiao Tian stood up. He looked quite clean and presentable in general; at least he was not decaying away. He just kept quiet, however.
Back then, Ye Qiao behaved like his younger sister, always following him around… but now, Ye Qiao was just like a mother to him.
She looked around and noticed that the floor was full of things about Ning Jing! Ye Qiao glanced at them in disgust!
“I am going to burn these in the garbage dump.” Qiao Tian finally said something.
Ye Qiao smiled with satisfaction at what she heard. She was going to nag him but decided to stop. “Is there any update on the software I asked you to design two days ago?”
Qiao Tian kept quiet as he walked towards his computer and turned on the PC.
Even the best computer of this era would still have a noisy CPU. The small white TV-like display only lit up after a while with the words ‘Windows 95’ displayed on the screen. How nostalgic!
The system was very slow; it took ten minutes to boot up and get the programs ready.
Qiao Tian sat down in front of the computer and double-clicked an icon on the desktop. The words – ‘Welcome to the hotel room management system’ appeared.
“Qiao Qiao, this is what I have now with regards to the hotel room management system. I did some research during my final year project. Currently, the hotels in most of the cities are still using manual information entry, which is inefficient and difficult to manage. It is very prone to error. Even five-star hotels are using management systems from other countries. This software that I designed will allow you to register guests through a computer, which is convenient, fast, and efficient. You can even use other functions, such as online booking.” Qiao Tian said seriously.
As he was explaining, his beautiful eyes were glowing, and finally, they were not half-dead like before.
Ye Qiao was impressed by what Qiao Tian came up with, especially the online booking function! Was this not similar to the prototype of a famous booking website that would be created ten years later?!
“Qiao Tian, you have some real skills!” She swore that she did not hint Qiao Tian about what it should look like.
“But, what’s the use…” Qiao Tian loved programming, but he was very bad with business.
“How is that useless?! This software… as long as you register it as yours, we can start selling it after you get the certificate!” Damn, the first person that she would sell it to was that dumb uncle! His hotel was so big, yet he was still using a manual registration method. Nevertheless, since their business was not very good, they only had a few guests to register every day.
She tried using the software and gave Qiao Tian a few comments on how he could improve it. The logo and most other things were already designed. They just needed to take some time to register the software. She also asked Qiao Tian to pre-register some good domain names so that they could sell them in the future! They could then set up a software company to sell software or design websites and provide other services. With the advent of the internet era, Qiao Tian’s future would not be bad at all. He might even be a bigwig in the internet industry!
With that said and done, Ye Qiao left Qiao Tian’s room. Just when she got to the second floor, she ran into Cheng Dafei. Dafei saw the glow in Ye Qiao’s eyes and knew something good had happened; thus, Dafei approached her and tried to cotton up to her.
