Chapter 111 – Even With Difficulties, You Must Continue
Bull Devil Gege was very angry, he drew out his iron rod and cursed, “I’m giving you face yet you’re throwing it away?! I’ll personally send you to Yama since you’re so eager to see him!”
After he finished speaking, he roared and then swung his iron rod towards him. Seeing this bad news, I immediately pounced onto the bed to stop the deadly blow.
“Sister! Forget about this kind of man!” Bull Devil was enraged, “Damn shit! Waited for 500 for this piece of trash to come back! Gege will help look for a better one after I get rid of him!”
“Miao Miao only wants Shifu! I don’t want anyone else!” I guarded over Xiang Qing, refusing to back away.
Bull Devil stared at me with eyes the size of bells. He took several paces forward, pointed to Xiang Qing’s nose, and said, “Right now, he is only a mere mortal. He is incapably weak, poor and pedantic! He doesn’t have a single use!”
“I don’t care! Miao Miao only wants Shifu! Regardless of how he’s changed, Miao Miao only wants him!” I held onto Xiang Qing, still refusing to let go.
I carelessly grabbed onto him with too much force and suddenly heard his bones crackle. He knit his brows, let out a quiet cry, and then said to me, “Excuse me.….miss, you and I have never encountered each other before, and have only met each other two days ago down the mountain. Neither are we friends, so how can you be my disciple? Have you mistaken me with another person?”
I stared at him in injustice, and only shook my head and said, “I’m not mistaken, the person I’m looking for is you.”
“Miss, having a profound friendship is a good thing, but I really am not your Shifu! Marriage is also no small matter, so please do not ruin your future happiness due to a moment of impulse.” Xiang Qing said with a livid expression.
“I don’t care, I don’t care, you are Miao Miao’s future! You are!” Seeing that he seemed to want to abandon me, I anxiously played roll on the bed, ignoring his protest.
But Shifu no longer picked me up to coax like in the past.….why? Buddha said that Shifu will come back, but he didn’t say Shifu won’t want Miao Miao anymore! Why?
Thinking about this, my heart became even more tragically helpless, just like an abandoned kitten. I pitifully looked towards him, hoping he would have a change of heart.
Xiang Qing lightly turned his head around and no long spoke.
Bull Devil’s body language appeared as if he’s become more impatient and angry, his hands clenched onto his iron rod, but under my gaze, he slowly released his grip, breathing heavily as if to restrain his own temper. In the end, he viciously slammed the rod into the ground, smashing the ground into pieces before slamming out the doors.
Time was quietly flowing away. I walked towards Xiang Qing and smiled at him, thus he turned his face to the right. I followed in his direction as well, and before long I became dizzy from going in circles. He let out a sigh and said, “Why bother? Although I’m not afraid of death, I have my parents to worry about. Plus, I’m a disciple of the Maoshan Sect so I’ll never be able to be together with anyone from the Demon Tribe. And I am not your Shifu. Miss, you should just look for your Shifu else where, why torment yourself?”
I never let go of his robes, just laughed like silly, hoping Shifu would return the same love he had for me in the past.
In this stalemate, Mo’lin voice traveled from the exterior, “Let me see!” He and Jin Wen both rushed in together, and showed an expression of shock upon seeing Xiang Qing, they helplessly murmured, “Similar, it’s really too similar.”
Yin Zi followed and came in as well, his mouth pouting as he quietly whispered, “He doesn’t remember Miao Miao at all. We don’t know whether or not he’s the reincarnation of Bi Qingshen Jun.”
Mo’lin rubbed his chin, circled Xiang Qing several times, and said, “Logically speaking, arrows through the heart can cause the soul to dissipate, so Bi Qingshen Jun shouldn’t have been able to reincarnate. However, this man is extremely similar.….”
“Who is Bi Qingshen Jun? Do I resemble him a lot?” Xiang Qing’s face showed confusion.
“Even that damned stone-like face that dreads smiling is exactly the same.” Mo’lin ignored him, and then suddenly laughed after a moment of thought, “If he really is his reincarnation, then there should be some sort mark from his previous lifetime that should have been left behind. “There were many scars.” I worked hard to recall the first night of grief, and then added, “There was a few snake scales on his belly.”
“Then let’s strip him and search.” Mo’lin clasped his hands, and then wickedly smiled, “Do you want me to do it?”
“No!” I quickly stopped Mo’lin, and then pounced onto Xiang Qing myself. I sat on his waist, pulled away his waist belt, and tore open his clothing.
“Wait a second!” Xiang Qing finally showed fear on his face. I was indeed pressing a little too firmly against him thus he was unable to move, and could only shout, “Halt your actions! Don’t just randomly touch me!”
“So noisy!” Mo’lin came up close to him, took out a silver needle, and then stuck it in his head. Xiang Qing instantly blacked out. I quickly and neatly stripped layer after layer of clothing with everyone watching.
“He doesn’t seem to have any remnants of large wounds or scars, but his muscles are quite firm, very good.”
“Wawa, watch your drool.”
“Meow woo! There’s a purple birthmark on his stomach that looks like a snake scale!”

We surrounded the half-naked Xiang Qing as we dove into a lively conversation about him. Yin Zi tried his hardest to explain to me about reincarnations and past lives, saying that Shifu has already forgotten about the past, and then asked what we should do.
I straightforwardly said, “So what if he forgets! As long as he likes me, it’s okay.”
As we discussed the solutions and difficulties to this new-found problem, Xiang Qing had awaken several times, only to be placed back into a deep sleep each occurrence.
Since I firmly opposed any harm or violence towards Shifu, Bull Devil’s idea of tying him up and torturing him until he relents was rejected. Yin Zi’s proposal of going to his hometown, kidnapping his mother, and then coercing her into letting us get married was also rejected. In the end, we went along with Jian Nan’s simple plan, to disguise my identity as a demon and get him to marry me.
Wawa expressed some concerns with regards to Xiang Qing’s ability to identify demons and monsters, however, Luo Luo says that the current Maoshan Sect can no longer compare to its past glory. Everyone including the sect leader are now a bunch of bastards who cheat other people’s money. We are all demons who have cultivated for thousands of years, their so called magic can do nothing to harm us.
Mo’lin nodded approvingly, saying how he can come up with a concoction that would eliminate Xiang Qing’s memory these past few days, giving Yin Zi a devious wink, “In order for a brighter future for Miao Miao, I’ll give this task to you, sacrifice and dedication is needed.”
After a moment of hesitation, Yin Zi let out an earth-shattering cry, “You want me to cross dress as a female?! No way! Never!”
