Somewhere at sea, a piece of fresh meat was stuck into a metal hook on a chain and thrown overboard. Dozens of Drill Marlins smelled this delicious morsel and scrambled to chase after it.
The Glutton, gargantuan yet hidden due to its dark runes, began to quickly move for the surface, faster than the Drill Marlins were actually known for.
Gradually, they eventually reached the surface all the way from the deep ocean.
The other end of the chain shifted as if it was being manipulated by someone, someone who was shrouded in internal force that quickly went from the bottom of the ocean all the way to the surface.
The moment they breached, a pair of flaming wings exploded from this figure’s back and carried him high into the sky, overlooking the waters below!
Ding dong dong!
The chain was pulled up and the bait left the sea!
The Drill Marlins seemed to have sensed that something was wrong and one by one lept out from the sea. The sharp beak-like appendage at the end of their snouts were extremely sharp, as if they could pierce the heavens!
Plap!
A Drill Marlin jabbed into that piece of meat and dropped into the sea with its spoil.
Other Drill Marlins swam over to enjoy this morsel.
Since this moment, the originally calm sea was stirred into a whirlpool. A large column of water gushed out and sent a marlin soaring into the air!
Qin Feng pulled out the Verdant Emperor Saber and his figure flickered briefly before appearing near the marlin and swinging his blade!

The Drill Marlin fought in a manner that complimented their dazzling speed. They were the deep sea’s strongest assassins.

Qin Feng’s internal force shook from the impact. Suddenly, he thought that he briefly heard the sound of his shield cracking just ever so slightly.
He took a breath, not daring to take this lightly anymore and swiftly swung his weapon.
“Burning Sword Glare!”

In the blink of an eye, twenty Drill Marlins were killed!
Qin Feng turned off the monitoring system on his communicator.
The Glutton’s cannons were prepared by now and they proceeded to unleash volleys that tore through the Drill Marlins.

“The Glutton is dead. There won’t be many ultra beasts approaching its territory which means that the place should be safer. If that’s the case, there’s lots to be gained from exploring that area!”
“There’s a lot of precious ancient coral at the edge of the area down there. If we can collect them we’d surely be able to turn a profit!”
“Yeah but there’s no such thing as a milk run!”
However, a few days later the deep-sea vessels that were manufactured by the Fengli Organization received a huge amount of praise. Many people ordered them, even some Dark Coalition members sent their orders incognito. The prospects of going out to sea had changed. Nobody could truly know who was who. There were even some reports of people saying that they ended up getting robbed by the Dark Coalition’s people!
Through this, East Sea City’s deep-sea vessel scene had completely changed.
But of course this was due to that hidden rough undercurrent sweeping through, invisible to the naked eye!
