The missile changed direction in mid-air and turned back to its launch site.

The members of Shinla were caught off guard by the abrupt change.
Some had fled, while others used missiles to stop the ones sent back by Qin Feng. A series of explosions rocked the hill they were stationed at.

Through the black smoke, missiles that were not hit fell rapidly toward them. It was too late to try to stop it now.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
The hill was heavily blasted.
Two members of the Shinla group were badly injured. The others managed to sustain the attack thanks to their runic equipment.
Qin Feng did not follow up on his attack because he knew that the enemy still had a trump card in their hands—Quong Po’s daughter.
“Bai Li, wake Yuan Xiaoguang up. Then go and check on the hostage. If possible, get her out of their hands.” Qin Feng ordered.
Bai Li transferred her energy to Yuan Xiaoguang through his neck. After the latter regained consciousness, Bai Li stuffed a cleansing Lotus Seed into his mouth.
Yuan Xiaoguang swallowed the seed reflexively and poison in his body was immediately cleared.
“Ah!!!” His head was in a lot of pain. When he saw Bai Li, Yuan Xiaoguang was terrified because he clearly remembered that she was already dead.
But he soon snapped back from his hallucination. He quickly grasped the current situation and got right back into the battle without asking any questions.
Qin Feng was busy dealing with the Blight Butterfly as well.

Qin Feng pressed on the switch once again and changed the muzzle form. The internal mechanism twirled and transformed the barrel into one with multiple same-size muzzles like a beehive.
He then pressed on the trigger.

His energy cannon turned into multiple thin lasers being shot out from the firearm. Before a Blight Butterfly could respond, the band of blue lights had already blasted multiple holes through its body.
Qin Feng burst into speed and strafed the area with his weapon. The Blight Butterflies could not withstand the shots and fell one after another.
It was no doubt a weapon built for a massacre.
Few tens of Blight Butterflies were exterminated by Qin Feng in a heartbeat. His timely help greatly relieved the pressure on the entire team.
The other gunners were baffled as they had never seen such a cannon before.
They were now imagining owning one themselves. That way, they could kill multiple beasts effortlessly too.

After exterminating almost half of the Blight Butterflies, Qin Feng left the rest to his comrades and sprinted up the hill.
The spot where the Shinla Devils were at earlier had fallen into total chaos. Among the disconcerted troop, Quong Ting, who had her suit torn apart, was visibly trembling in fear.

Bai Li suddenly appeared right beside her. Immediately, spatial runes emerged and surrounded the two of them. They then vanished together in the blink of an eye.
The gunner who was guarding Quong Ting was stunned.
“… The bait has been taken! Get her back!”
“F*ck! Who was guarding her earlier? How could you lose sight of her?”
“Stop complaining and start looking!”
“She is there!”
“How could they run so fast?”
Bai Li did not get too far. She only teleported about five hundred meters away. Bai Li helped Quong Ting to untie the rope and wrapped her in clothes taken out from her dimension.
Quong Ting was obviously traumatized. She might be a D-tier aptitude user but could barely stay on her feet now.
“Time to go!” Bai Li grabbed Quong Ting’s shoulder and dragged her toward Qin Feng.
Qin Feng saw them and sprinted to them at the same time.
Shinla had discovered the escapees and chased after them too.

Qin Feng aimed his cannon at his opponents and bombarded them with rapid lasers.

Qin Feng exerted his force and pushed the ancient warrior away. The force was too great and directly shattered the poor man’s stomach.

The guy shrieked in pain and fell onto the grassland.
No one paid attention to him. Everyone else was busy lunging at Qin Feng.

Two thick vines sprouted up from the ground trying to wrap around Qin Feng.

The other ability user was a metal-type. A giant and heavy-looking ax had appeared right on top of Qin Feng.

Qin Feng sneered and triggered his ability. Fire combusted to life around him and instantly burned the vines down to dust.
As for the ax, it would never catch Qin Feng no matter how fast it came crashing down.

Blasters of other gunners fired simultaneously at where Qin Feng was at.
Qin Feng evaded dexterously and brought up his internal force shield.
Ratatat!
The blaster in his hand fired back rapidly.
Those from Shinla were in great despair.
“Who is this guy? Is he a gunner, or an aptitude user?”
“He even has internal force shield! Is he also an ancient warrior?”
“Monster!”
They did not have the slightest idea who they were up against. Such a battle was just a piece of cake to Qin Feng.
This was nothing compared to the fierce competition between the prodigies, as well as his near-death experience in The Perished Land.

All the ancient warriors within sight had their energy extracted by Qin Feng.
