Song Yan came over to Su Mei'er's office again.

"Would you like something to drink?" Su Mei'er asked.

"Water, please." Song Yan answered politely.

"This is a café, and there is only coffee here. Do you want a cup of coffee?" Su Mei'er gave him a cunning smile.

Song Yan went blank for a while. He then smiled, "Okay! I would like to have a cup of coffee, thank you."

Su Mei'er called the waitress Ying'er here and asked her to make a cup of coffee. She fixed her eyes on Song Yan and asked, "Is the tune you played called Refrain?"

"Yes, it is." Song Yan nodded.

Su Mei'er asked in a curious way, "I loved listening to piano music as a child. I don't know how many tunes I have listened to, but I've never heard of Refrain before. Can you tell me who wrote it?"

"A friend of mine wrote it," temporized Song Yan. According to the system, the tune was written by a pianist from another world. Therefore, this tune didn't exist in this world. Actually, he could tell Su Mei'er that he wrote it. But he was not that kind of shameless person.

"Really? This is a wonderful tune. Of course, you played very well too." Hearing Song Yan's words Su Mei'er seemed rather melancholy. She was silent for a long time before she continued, "Could you please introduce me to your friend?"

Su Mei'er was a well-developed, charming lady. Song Yan couldn't bring himself to reject her. He felt a sudden compulsion to nodded his head, but he held back as there was no friend at all. Song Yan could only lie to her, "He is studying abroad now. He won't come back within several years."

"What a pity!" Su Mei'er was really disappointed.

At the moment, Ying'er returned with a cup of coffee. Song Yan could clearly see the adoration in her eyes.

"Thank you, Ying'er." Song Yan took over the coffee.

"You are welcome." Ying'er gave a bashful smile and left the office.

"Okay. Now, let's talk about your salary." Su Mei'er looked at Song Yan.

"I think it's 50 yuan an hour, isn't it?" Song Yan was a little confused.

Su Mei'er shook her head, "That price is for regular pianist only. You played so well. I think you are comparable to those piano masters. The price is far too low for you. However, this café is run on a shoestring. I'll give you 150 yuan per hour. Are you okay with that?"

"150 yuan per hour?" Song Yan was taken aback. With two hours a day, he could earn 300 yuan each day, that is, 9,000 yuan each month. Song Yan's uncle only gave him 400 yuan for living expenses each month.

"That's too much. 50 yuan is fine with me." Song Yan offered.

Su Mei'er burst out laughing at this. She looked rather attractive at the moment. Song Yan stared blankly at her again.

"Boy, you are being rude." Su Mei'er rolled her eyes and snorted.

Song Yan had some dry coughs.

"I've seen many people who asked for a rise, but never seen someone who asked for a pay cut. I tell you what, I'll pay you 120 yuan an hour." Su Mei'er offered.

Song Yan was about to bargain over the price, but Su Mei'er stopped him and said, "No more bargaining, otherwise, I would be unhappy."
