"Are you Song Yan? Mr. Xue wants to see you. Follow us!" As soon as Song Yan walked out of the classroom, two big tall boys came to him and said in an arrogant way.

Song Yan went blank for a moment. The so-called Mr. Xue was one of the four vicious boys in the school. Song Yan had no relationship with Mr. Xue and didn't know why Mr. Xue wanted to see him.

"Stop messing about! Hurry up!" A boy pushed Song Yan discontentedly as he saw Song Yan was in a trance.

"Sorry. I'm coming with you now." Song Yan nodded like a yes-man as he followed the two boys.

In a grove beside the school's playground, a boy with long hair stood there with his back to Song Yan, hands resting in his pockets. The two boys had Song Yan between them and said to the boy respectfully, "Mr. Xue, we've brought this guy here."

The boy turned around slowly and gazed at Song Yan in cold, sharp eyes. Suddenly, he gave a vicious smile and curled his index finger, "Song Yan, do you know why I asked you to see me?"

Song Yan shook his head in confusion, "No, I don't."

Xue Yuancheng's lips widened, "Slap yourself twice, and then I'll tell you what's going on."

Song Yan changed his face and gave a murderous look when he heard the words. He had kept a low profile in the school, but this didn't mean he was a door mat.

"Mr. Xue, I think I haven't offended you before. You have gone too far."

"So what?" Xue Yuancheng grinned scornfully, "You are just a nobody, and I can do whatever I want to you. I just asked you to slap yourself twice, but I've changed my mind now. Kneel down and slap yourself ten times. It's a punishment for your contradiction."

Song Yang stood there without doing anything. He was angered by Xue Yuancheng's attitude, 'You have insulted me beyond the limit.'

"Bastard! Mr. Xue asked you to kneel down! Are you deaf?" A lackey of Xue Yuancheng scolded as he kicked Song Yan in his chin, planning to kick him down to the ground.

Song Yan was at the end of his forbearance as he stepped forward to avoid the attack and stared at the lackey in a cold face, "Don't push me!"

"Fuck you! How dare you dodge! You seem to be quite fearless!" Wang Fei scolded as he pounced on Song Yan and was about to slap him in the face.

Xue Yuancheng put his hands back into pockets and stared at Song Yan. His two lackeys were all fighters. Since Song Yan was not well-advised, he deserved to be punished.

The other lackey stood there without moving as he believed Wang Fei alone was enough to teach Song Yan a lesson.

When Wang Fei's palm was going to hit Song Yan's face, Song Yan suddenly stepped back to avoid it. Then he slapped Wang Fei heavily in the face.

A clear sound of palm sounded, and then Wang Fei staggered back. He stared at Song Yan unbelievably as he didn't expect Song Yan dared hit back and slapped him.

Wang Fei was angered by the stinging slap, and his eyes also turned red, "Son of bitch! I'm going to kill you!"

He roared as he dashed towards Song Yan and waved his right arm directly toward Song Yan's face.

Song Yan narrowed his eyes and suddenly raised his leg.

"Bang!"

Wang Fei was kicked in the abdomen and fell down to the ground.

"Good-for-nothing! How could you beat down by a nobody? You two, beat him together!" Xue Yuancheng demanded coldly.

Another lackey helped Wang Fei up and gave Song Yan a murderous look. They rushed to Song Yan together.

One was about to punch his face, and the other was about to kick the middle part between his legs.

"You are asking for it!" Song Yan reproached as he flew to them. His arms were like two whips.

"Bang! Bang!"

Two lackeys staggered back and fell down to the ground when they were hit in the chest. They covered their chests with hands and could hardly breathe. They were frightened by Song Yan's fighting skills.

Song Yan turned around, stared at Xue Yuancheng in a cold face and walked to him.

"Stop! Stop!" Xue Yuancheng panicked.

Song Yan ignored him, instead, he stood in front of Xue Yuancheng, grabbed his collar, and slapped him in the face heavily. The two lackeys also heard the sound, quaking with fear.

Song Yan released Xue Yuancheng, stepped back and stared at him, "Tell me why you wanted to see me?"

"How dared you slap me? Do you know who I am?" Xue Yuancheng didn't answered his question, instead, he stared at Song Yan with a murderous look.

Song Yan suddenly stepped forward and grabbed Xue Yuancheng's neck again. He gave Xue Yuancheng several more slaps and asked him in a vicious voice, "Xue Yuancheng, do not challenge my patience. This is the last time I'm asking you, why you wanted to see me?"

Xue Yuancheng was scared when he saw Song Yan's beast-like eyes, "It's…because of Xiang Feifei."

Hearing the name, Song Yan went blank as he didn't expect Xue Yuancheng did it for Xiang Feifei. A girl in white dress, who was as pure as a lotus flower, flitted through his mind.

Xiang Feifei was a campus queen in Shengye Middle School. Even though she was an art student and seldom came to the school, she had dozens of admirers.

Song Yan still remembered Xiang Feifei played zither in the last New Year's party of Shengye Middle School. Almost everyone was captured by her performance, and Song Yan was also impressed by her.

He accidentally knocked Xiang Feifei down yesterday when he went downstairs. Xue Yuancheng was sure to avenge Xiang Feifei for this.

"Did Xiang Feifei ask you to do this?" Song Yan looked down at Xue Yuancheng and asked.

"No! It was my idea. Xiang Feifei has no idea of it."

Song Yan smiled and released Xue Yuancheng, "Remember, do not offend me in the future."

Song Yan turned around and left after speaking. Xue Yuancheng was a successful businessman, so he had numerous lackeys. But Song Yan didn't care about it at all.

Seeing Song Yan's receding figure, Xue Yuancheng ground his teeth.

At the Grade 3 Class 9, Shengye Middle School

Yan Weimin, teacher in charge of the class, entered the classroom with a peevish expression on his face and banged the books onto the peevish. The atmosphere immediately became tense.

Yan Weimin let his eyes settle upon a tall boy sleeping in the last row. He couldn't bear his anger anymore as he shouted: "Song Yan, stand up!"

Song Yan stood up, rubbed his sleepy eyes and asked Yan Weimin in confusion, "Teacher Yan, what's going on?"

Yan Weimin was angered at Song Yan's words as he roared, "Don't you know that? Why did you fight with others? The teacher of Class 3 has told me everything. You have bad grades. Fine! Now you even ruined the reputation of our class! I think you are beyond redemption."

Hearing his words, Song Yan realized Xue Yuancheng must have reported the fight to the teacher and he was in deeply scornful of Xue Yuancheng.

"Song Yan!" Yan Weimin raised his voice as he was even angrier, "I'm telling you once and for all, if you continue to act like that, I will advise the headmaster to expel you from the school."

"I get it." Song Yan answered, his head lowering.

"Sit down." Yan Weimin felt disgusting when he saw a useless Song Yan, and had secretly decided that if Song Yan kept being like that, he would definitely advise the headmaster to expel him.

"Yes." Song Yan sat down. He was about to take a nap again, but changed his mind and didn't want to enrage Teacher Yan again.

Yan Wemin began his platitude in the platform. He talked about the importance of the college entrance examination, and asked the students to study hard and try to be admitted to better universities.

Song Yan was a boy aged 17, and topped 1.82 meters. He was a native of Xiangcheng City, and was now at Grade 3 Class 9 of Shengye Middle School. He had bad grades, so no teachers liked him, especially Yan Weimin, teacher in charge of the class.

Song Yan's parents both died in an accident when he was 10. He now lived with Song Shize, his father's elder brother. Song Shize was the deputy director general of the Bureau of Education of Xiangcheng city, which was deputy department director level. That was why he was able to study in Shengye Middle School with such bad grades.

Shengye Middle School was a famous middle school in Xiangcheng city, and even in the State of Yanhuang, and it was all because of Song Shize that Song Yan could be admitted by Shengye Middle School.

Song Yan was thankful to his uncle. If it wasn't him, Song Yan was unable to be admitted by Shengye Middle school with such poor grades.

Song Shize treated Song Yan well. Song Yan needed not worry about food and clothing, and even had pin money. The reason Song Yan kept a low profile at school was that he didn't want to cause his uncle any trouble.

However, he was unable to regard his uncle's home as his own home, as he had a mean aunt-in-law. When his uncle was at home, his aunt treated him well; but when his uncle was not at home, his aunt would scold him with sharp words. Song Yan was in his rebellious years, so he disliked his aunt very much. That's why he chose to stay in residence.

After school, Song Yan put his schoolbag back to his dorm and walked to his uncle's house.

Today was Friday, and there were no classes tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. According to the regulations of the Bureau of Education of Xiangcheng city, schools were not allowed to make up missed lessons on weekends, and once been found, schools would be heavily fined. Therefore, even the college entrance exam was within three months, schools wouldn't take up weekends for making up missed lessons.

Actually, Song Yan didn't want to go to his uncle's home, but he couldn't very well refuse his uncle's kindness.

Song Shize lived in Zijing Mansion, which was a high-grade residential quarter. In the State of Yanhuang, public servants were well-paid. Song Shize could receive about RMB 1 million a year including b onus and benefits.

"Knock! Knock!" Song Yan knocked on his uncle's door.

A beautiful, tall girl opened the door. When she saw Song Yan, she immediately turned and walked away.

The girl was Song Xue, Song Yan's younger female cousin. She was 16 and topped 1.75 meters. She had the model's figure. The Song Clan must have good DNA, as Song Yan was tall and handsome and Song Xue was tall and beautiful.

Song Xue was also a Grade 3 student in Shengye Middle School, but had much better grades.

Maybe Song Xue was influenced by her mother, she was very cold to Song Yan. She never greeted Song Yan at school; even if Song Yan greeted her first, she would normally ignore him.

Song Yan changed his shoes and looked around the living room, but didn't find Song Shize. So, he asked, "Xue, where is uncle? Hasn't he finished work yet?"

"He has not finished work yet." Song Xue answered in a cold voice.

"Get it." Song Ying wanted to leave as he felt under great pressure when getting along with Song Xue and his aunt.

Ten minutes later, Song Yan held his bowl and had the supper quietly. Yang Yanli, his aunt-in-law, suddenly dropped her chopsticks and questioned him, "Song Yan, did you fight with others?"

"Yes." Song Yan nodded as he didn't expect his aunt knew it. He wondered was it Song Xue who told his aunt. After all, all students knew he beat Xue Yuancheng.

"You are being so willful. Your uncle has gone out of his way to send you to Shengye Middle School. Could you behave yourself and stop bringing shame on him?"

"I get it. I won't do it again." Song Yan answered in a low voice, but felt humiliated in his mind.

After supper, Song Yan left his uncle's home in a bad mood. His aunt's words still echoed in his ears.

On his way back to the dorm, he felt confused as he didn't know where his future was.

He had poor grades, and was even unable to be admitted by the worst college. He knew if he begged his uncle, his uncle would try his best to send him to a good university. But he didn't want to bother his uncle anymore. The driver that killed his parents ran away, and was still at large. He hadn't received any compensation. During the past seven years, his uncle had paid for everything for him, including his tuition fees. Maybe that was why his aunt disliked him so much.

Song Yan didn't want to be his uncle's burden, and didn't want to rely on other people for a living.

To be honest, he wanted to have good grades and go to a good university, but he was not meant for a good student. The knowledge in the books made him feel sick.

"If only I was a straight A student… Forget it. After I take the college entrance exam, I'm going to find a job in another city. I will never forget uncle's kindness!" Song Yan thought to himself.

"Ouch! Who is it?" Song Yan was suddenly knocked on the head, then he heard a sound. A silver ring hit Song Yan's head and bounced onto the ground. It rolled a distance before it stopped.

Song Yan bent down, picked up the ring and looked around unconsciously. It was an isolated spot, and there was nobody else here. Where did this ring come from? The heaven?

It was a regular silver ring without any other decorative pattern except for a number "1".

When Song Yan looked at the number, he fell into a trance. A voice sounded in his ears as if it was from a remote place, "The Galaxy Ring has been successfully bound with host Song Yan. Start activating now!"
