Even though this fellas from the Quan Zhen Sect wouldn’t get out of bed without any incentives, they wouldn’t do a sloppy job once they made a promise.
After squeezing Fearless hard, they left the bar and went their separate ways to look for NPCs.
Almost at the same time, Wang Yu and Fearless arrived at Yamatai City’s library.
Yamatai City was indeed the main city of the Japanese server. The library was extremely localised.
When Fearless saw a female administrator in uniform seated there, Fearless felt as though he had seen a scene like that before. A series of car plate numbers started popping up in his head…

It seemed like as a City Lord, Fearless had a certain level of prestige. If it was any other player, the administrator would have gone straight to the point.

“Alright!” Fearless nodded, “Give me the resources you have on Raging Flames Monarch.”
After saying that, Fearless handed over a bag of gold.
The lady received the gold as she said, “Raging Flames Monarch is the defender of the God of Flames Mining Area. He is extraordinarily powerful.”
The administrator stopped talking after this.
“That’s all?”
Fearless couldn’t believe that was all… 80 gold for a single sentence? Was there even a need to say that he was a defender?
“City Lord, I will have to charge you if you want me to answer this question!”
The administrator revealed a sneaky smile.

Fearless took out 160 gold and handed it over, “Tell me how I can kill Raging Flames Monarch.”
The administrator received the gold before replying, “Raging Flames Monarch is an embodiment of the fire element. In theory, he can neither die nor be extinguished. As to how to kill him, I’m sorry. This is a content that a player has to find out by himself.”

Fearless almost spat out a mouthful of blood when he heard this.
Fearless finally realised that it was not realistic to treat the library as a strategy warehouse.
There were many matters in the game in which the library would not have an answer to.
There was nothing this administrator could provide them with.
Whatever this fella told them could be summarised in two sentences:
One: Raging Flames Monarch is the defender of the mining area.
Two: Raging Flames Monarch cannot be defeated
Damn it! Wang Yu and Fearless already knew this so there was really no meaning in her answers.
Wang Yu and Fearless left the library in an extremely bad mood.
After leaving the library, the two of them arrived at the bar as they could only wait for the Quan Zhen Sect to work their magic.
It was not possible to have a BOSS that couldn’t be killed in the game. The possible reasons why Wang Yu couldn’t kill Raging Flames Monarch should be because he lacked some sort of special tool or hadn’t fulfilled some sort of condition.
And a tool or condition like this had to be triggered by exploring the content.
Since the library did record that Raging Flames Monarch was the defender of the mining area, this meant that Raging Flames Monarch was indeed the tyrant in Yamatai City. The trigger for the quest should be in Yamatai City so they could only sit there and wait for news from the others.
After a few hours, the rest of the Quan Zhen Sect finally gathered back at the bar.
“How is it?” Once everyone returned, Fearless stood up to ask.
However, everyone’s attitude was not as pleasant as they replied, “Not good!”
It turned out that after receiving Fearless’ order, all of them went out to ask all the NPCs on the streets. However, they either received meaningless replies or similar replies – ‘Mining area? No, there is a devil there that is too terrifying. You are still young, you shouldn’t think about ending your life…’
Everything felt like a script and repeated constantly back to them. This explained their current mood.
“This shouldn’t be the case…” Fearless scratched his chin and said, “Are there any NPC that you guys missed? Should you go sweep through the place again?”

Fearless merely sat there the whole time while others worked their butt off earlier. Yamatai City was such a big place with at least a thousand NPC.
Everyone was already feeling annoyed with the lack of results after a long night of searching. Nobody was in the mood to play hide and seek with the NPC!
“Haha, don’t be angry…” Fearless smiled, “I know everyone worked hard so let’s just take a break now.”
Fearless turned to the counter and said, “Boss, give me ten bottles of your most expensive wine.”
At a time like this, Fearless could not afford to offend the others from the Quan Zhen Sect. From Evil Rampage’s tone, it seemed like he wouldn’t be sending his men down to Yamatai City if this issue with the mining area BOSS couldn’t be settled. If that happened, the most depressed person would be none other than Fearless.
He would merely end up as a commander with no authority.
WIthout players to take on quests, the city would not be constructed. Without any city construction, there would be no income and Fearless would have to fork out his own gold for the maintenance fees of the Yamatai City.
This was the cumbersome part of being a City Lord.
Moreover, what kind of person was Fearless? Everything wretched in nature that went on in the Quan Zhen Sect had to be from Fearless. It was simply an eyesore to see so much wealth but unable to tap on it at all. Therefore, Fearless understood the need to ensure these fellas, who were working for him, felt comfortable and motivated.

Everyone did feel better when they saw how sensible Fearless was.
If not for Wang Yu, these fellas would probably not be willing to do any of this hard labour. If Fearless continued acting badly, they would have just flipped the table and walked off. They might even beat Fearless up before leaving.
The NPC in the bar was indeed efficient. It didn’t take long for the waiter to serve a tray of wine in front of Wang Yu and the rest.
Wang Yu muttered to himself, “Why can’t I kill that Raging Flames Monarch?”
