His long, black hair that flickered with lights danced in the air. His eyes with a golden color that resembled a golden dragon's scale flickered with lights as though it was the starry sky. His eyebrows were sharp and straight, and his gaze was so mesmerizing and enchanting that anyone lucky enough to catch his attention would instantly fall into an illusion of endless charm. His skin was clear and smooth, looking healthier than even the purest of white jade. The aura he radiated was blooming with saintly charisma that could easily captivate any female under heaven!
This beyond flawless entity standing at the peak of the stairway to heaven was Tian Yi— son of the Celestial Emperor— the man that had caused destruction to countless marriage with a mere show of his peerless face! And the heavens dimmed at his appearance as though they did not dare to fight for his spotlight.
"K-Kyaaaaaaaa!"
Nobody there knew which of the countless of females there started screaming, but instantly after the first one, countless cries of adoration filled the city that echoed a thousand miles in all directions!
"Ahhh! My fucking ears! They're bleeding!"
The males started rolling on the floor with their ears covered, but alas, their effort was useless as the cries were sharp enough to pierce heaven itself!
Long Mulan nearly fell from the sky upon getting hit by the shockwave caused by the screams.
The sect masters directly fell from the sky, and Senior Yu had her eyes popped out of her sockets when she noticed the similarities between Tian Yi's face and the face of her first love, Qiang.
Yu Bing's leg gave up on her upon seeing Tian Yi's face, causing her to fall off the stairway and teleported away by the talisman.
When she appeared again, she was with the other participants who had fallen before her beside the stairway entrance at the starting point.
As for Tian Yi, he also nearly fell off the peak of the stairway from the startling screams.
And with no clue as to why they were screaming, Tian Yi began sweating with a look of confusion on his face. However, that puzzled expression of his only increased the volume of the scream.
"Ahhhhh! Who is he?! Why have I never heard of such a handsome man before?!"
"Marry me!!!"
"You want to take him for yourself with that ugly face?! You are better off dreaming of becoming the next Qing Dynasty Empress as that sounds more realistic!"
As famous as the name Tian Yi was— nobody except those who have seen his face knew how the son of the Celestial Emperor really looked. And those people are limited to the ones who have seen his face in person during his birthday and some of Heaven's Followers who were lucky enough to see his painting that barely did his true appearance any justice!
Tian Yi was known to everybody as the son of the Celestial Emperor and that he was extremely handsome, but that was the limit of their knowledge! Nobody except the ones that have seen his face before knew the extent of his attractiveness!
As the screaming increased, the air was quickly filled with floating hearts that came from the countless adoring gazes of the people.
The scene was chaotic, hellish even.
Tian Yi definitely did not expect to see such a chaotic scene when he decided to reveal his true appearance. Some maidens there were unable to handle his charms and directly went unconscious while others could feel the in-between of their legs tingle from their strong sense of yearning!
Hell, some males even had major changes to their preferences upon seeing Tian Yi!
The mayhem had reached the point to where the tension between Tian Yi and Long Mulan was thrown out the window with the only thing that mattered was Tian Yi.
Then, unexpectedly, somebody began climbing the stairway with the intent to reach Tian Yi, and countless others followed without caring for their lives, causing the stairway to flooded with maidens! There were so many maidens climbing the stairway that the stairway itself began shuddering from terror!
Tian Yi's eyes widened with shock, and he quickly deactivated the stairway so those who were above the age of 27 and not of the Spirit Ascension Stage would not explode to death upon entering the stairway.
Now with the stairway deactivated, anybody could climb the stairway as though it was just a normal stairway— mortals included!
Tian Yi watched with a dumbfounded expression as another competition for the top of the stairway started, but it was a unique one where all of the participants were females with the only reward there being himself!
The participants fought each other trying to surpass the next with their gaze passionately staring at the peak where Tian Yi stood!
Yu Bing cried out in panic when she saw the scene, and she too decided to climb the stairway once again.
And without any pressure or anything to slow her down, she soared to the top easily, reaching the 6th level while the majority of them were still at the 3rd level!
The climbing that surpassed the previous in both passion and effort continued for a few minutes, and just as Yu Bing stepped onto the 10th level, the sky changed colors— turning from blue to gold!
Tian Yi turned his attention from the people climbing to the sky, and his eyes widened with surprise.
'So fast!' he cried inwardly at the speed his family took notice of his appearance.
"Everybody halt your movements!"
A loud and commanding voice boomed in the air with authority, causing everybody there to uncontrollably freeze.
The clouds in the sky suddenly dispersed like a ripple, and a figure clad in a silver armor descended from the heaven followed by one hundred figures in black armors.
The moment this silver-armored figure appeared, everything seemed to have froze— even time itself.
'T-T-The Celestial God Army!' everybody and their mother there cried inside their heart with alarm.
What was the Celestial God Army doing here? Aren't they supposed to be looking for His Highness?
Then, as though everybody was struck by a lightning bolt, their eyes widened with realization.
'Unless…'
They all turned to look at the perfect entity standing on the peak of the stairway.
'H-H-His Highness?!?!?!??!'
