Only after many, many minutes later did the queue start moving again.

"Who do you think that senior was?"

"Could it have been someone from the Celestial Tian Family? The sky glowed golden for a moment, didn't it? And the senior was even judging them as he killed them!"

"Why would anybody from the Celestial Tian Family be here? They are all busy looking for His Highness!"

"But…"

"It could have been some cultivation technique for all we know. Why did that senior feel the need to hide his identity? People from the Celestial Tian Family wouldn't even bother with such pointless actions!"

"You have a point there…"

The queue was filled with chatters and wild guesses of who the mysterious senior was.

Some speculated that he was an ancient cultivator, some believed he was from the Qing Dynasty, and others thought he was the guardian of one of Tian Long's victim who came for revenge.

Nobody there could tell for sure, but one thing they did know was that the Ancient Dragon Sect would become pretty hectic once they learn the news of Tian Long, their most talented disciple's death.

Xiao, who was in the queue meant for merchants was sweating his balls off at this moment. The way Tian Long and his fellow disciples died looked awfully similar to the way the Night Raiders had died— by turning into a fog of blood!

'Could it have been him?' He pondered. 'He is very strong, but he cannot be that strong— to the point of treating a Supreme Elder from one of the Four Ancient Lands like a baby who has never cultivated in his life— can he?'

Xiao did not dare to believe his wild guesses, but the way they died was truly too familiar! Could that young man named Shuyi actually have been an ancient cultivator in disguise? And that little girl he called his sister actually his disciple?

If so, that would make sense! To have a genius disciple like Meng Xiang… only a monster of a Master like him would have one, and vice versa!

To have such a profound and formidable cultivation base, only a disciple with heaven-defying talents like Meng Xiang would be worth his attention and time!

'I wonder where they are right now…' he looked to the other 11 lines filled with thousands of people.

After a moment of silence, he sighed. "We live in two different worlds despite being only a dozen meters away in distance at most… this is the so-called world of geniuses, huh?"

The queue to the Soaring Sun City was slow and boring. Every half an hour they would change all the talisman on the floor, and everybody would have to wait on them.

Talismans are mostly one-time uses, but those that can be used multiple times, the more powerful they are, the quicker the energy will be absorbed.

After nearly half a day of waiting, it was finally Tian Yi and Meng Xiang's turn.

If it weren't for her new cultivation base, Meng Xiang would not have been able to stand there and wait for half a day. But because she has a Spirit Ascension cultivation base, her patience and stamina increased significantly, allowing her to stand there for half a day without feeling any more different than when she started waiting half a day ago.

It was an odd feeling for her, who usually felt fragile and weak.

"Ten silver," said one of the guards as he held his palms out to Tian Yi and his group that was supposed to be next.

"Uhh…"

Tian Yi's entire body stiffened. He had to pay to get up there? He doesn't have any money on him!

Everybody there handed ten silver coins to the guard, leaving only Tian Yi and Meng Xiang standing there.

"Hm?" The guard looked at him. "Did you not hear me? Hurry up and pay ten silvers if you want to enter!" he said to him loudly.

It was at this moment, the son of the Celestial Emperor, for the first time in his life, felt the need for money!

Seeing how he was not answering him, the guard frowned. "Are you deaf?! If you do not have the money, then get the hell out!" he shouted, attracting the gaze of others.

People with not enough money to enter are common sights here, especially those who have never been here and underestimated the entrance fee.

The Soaring Sun City can be considered one of the richest cities in the Qing Shan Continent, or else how would they be able to afford so many teleportation talismans?

And with the usage of teleportation talisman, the cost of the entrance fee would obviously be higher than average.

Tian Yi was speechless, and he did not know what to do.

He had no money, nor did he want to just leave after hearing about the competition.

The guard was truly enraged at his silence. He inspected at Tian Yi again just in case he might offend the wrong person.

But after seeing his commonly used white robes and average-looking face, he quickly concluded that Tian Yi was just a commoner without a second thought.

Now knowing that he was just a commoner, the guard decided to go all out.

"How dare you lowly commoner ignore me! If you do not get the fuck out of my face right this instance, I will personally throw you out!"

The guard reached out his hand to grab Tian Yi, but before he could even get close, Tian Yi instinctively reacted by slapping the guard's hand away like it was some annoying fly.

The guard's eyes widened, soon to be filled with raging flames.

"You fucking bastard!" He yelled out at the same moment his hands grabbed the sword by his side.

The guard unsheathed his sword and swung it toward Tian Yi's face, dumbfounding the spectators.

'What an easily offended person! He must have anger issues!' They all thought.

Tian Yi, who had been trying to think of a way to get ten silver sudden lifted an eyebrow, and his hands flickered, catching the steel blade that was heading towards his head with two fingers!

"W-What?!" The guard cried out loud, his eyes filled with disbelief.

He was a Cultivator with a Heavenly Spirit Stage cultivation base! How could this fragile-looking young man catch his sword as it was nothing?!
