Chapter 450: A Surging Storm
Translator: Alsey Editor: Chrissy

“Bang!”

Chu Feng used the dark red lance like a large stick and swung through the air. It tore through the sky at a great speed, causing compressed explosions in the air until it hit Zhu Chengkuns’s nape and sent him flying.

The pain was unbearable, and he could even hear the faint sound of his neck bones cracking. Zhu Chengkun’s vision darkened and he almost fainted.

He fell rolling onto the grass and soil, excavating a big pit in the ground.

Caught within this domain, he felt his blood run cold as he completely lacked the ability to retaliate. He couldn’t even see his opponent and was completely beaten down during the fight. This made him furious yet frightened at the same time.

Once he had identified the right direction, Zhu Chengkun began to run frantically. He wanted to charge out directly in one breath because he had once seen that the four brass pillars thrown by Chu Feng had a small range and its domain had a small area.

However, in the eyes of outsiders, he was madly running around, drawing incredibly regular circles in this area.

This was the upgraded version of the Ghostly Labyrinth. It clouded Zhu Chengkun’s divine instincts, making him mistakenly believe he could charge out all the way.

While people were surprised, they also felt a chill at the same time. It was unexpected that Chu Feng, an evolver of the shackled realm, could make an expert of the carefree realm so disheveled.

In a leisurely manner, Chu Feng took a few steps forward and came close to the regular circular trajectory. Here he waited before he lifted the dark red lance and slowly began to spin it around.

Zhu Chengkun rushed over, breaking through the sound barrier. To others, he looked like he was charging into the dark red metal rod that he was facing himself.

His face collided with the metal rod with a bang and was directly contorted. His entire person flew up and he screamed in the air before he fell down.

“Ah….”

It was so painful that he felt as if his face were trampled by the hooves of a primordial demonic donkey.

Zhu Chengkun’s heart surged with murderous intent but yet couldn’t do anything about it.

As one of the Nine Yin Sparrow’s descendants, he had left Mount Zhongnan’s star passage to kill Chu Feng, obeying the orders of Zhu Wuque the saint child. Yet in the end, he hadn’t even managed to touch Chu Feng’s hair.

“Are creatures in the carefree realm so capable of taking a beating, or is it because he has thick skin? He can still get up so it seems that I have to put in some more effort,” Chu Feng muttered to himself.

Everyone felt complicated emotions after hearing these words. An evolver of the shackled realm was overhauling an expert from the carefree realm and was still not satisfied.

In his heart, Zhu Chengkun vowed that he would find the opportunity to tear Chu Feng in half once he had escaped this difficult situation. He would repay Chu Feng with ten times the pain he had suffered just then.

Now, his body was giving off a black mist accompanied by flames and was extremely furious.

At the same time, he was also afraid because he remembered Chu Feng had a snow white bracelet in his hand. This could release extreme yang essence flames, and if he gave him a shot with it right now, he would undoubtedly perish.

Without the domain, he was confident he could easily dodge from the diamond chakram. He was already ready before he made his move.

Zhu Chengkun believed the murder of the old man from Penglai was completely brought on by himself. As an evolver from the carefree realm, he wouldn’t have been attacked if he had been slightly warier.

Yet when it was his own turn to face the situation, he had been enshrouded the moment the mysterious domain appeared and was now completely petrified.

Before, he was confident he could dodge, but now, he for sure couldn’t avoid it.

Other descenders from the outer realms also noticed this—the extreme yang essence flames within the snow white bracelet was fatal when paired with the appropriate domain, and it couldn’t be resolved easily.

Zhu Chengkun gritted his teeth and was prepared to admit defeat. Even if he had a burning desire to commit murder in his heart, he had no choice but to give in. As long as he could leave the domain’s parameters, he would later find opportunities to kill the native.

However, Chu Feng increased the power in the following hits and began to attack violently. One strike after another, he split Zhu Chengkun’s head and face until he couldn’t even say another word.

Pfft!

He spouted out a mouthful of blood. This time, Chu Feng thrashed the stick on his face and shattered all his teeth. Blood flew out along with his teeth, and he couldn’t speak at all.

Ka Cha!

Next, his right arm was broken/fractured and split into three pieces.

“Ah…”

He screamed again as his left kneecap was split apart from the strikes, and he directly sank to his knees.

“Stop!” he yelled, extremely sullen.

Yet he was met with another strike, which split his left shoulder blade. In the end, all four of his limbs had been fractured.

“I give up! We’re only knocking around, stop it now!” he yelled with his head hanging low in defeat. Indeed, he couldn’t endure it any longer.

The noise of bones breaking sounded once again as his spine was fractured. He flew out and for a moment he couldn’t get back up.

“Stop!” Li Qing, Li Lin, and the others started to talk and restrain Chu Feng at this point. Zhu Chengkun would undoubtedly die if this continued on.

With a wave of Chu Feng’s hand, a whistling gale swept Zhu Chengkun out of the domain where the four brass pillars stood.

The expert with a human figure and a crocodile tail immediately launched an attack on Chu Feng. His name was E’hai, and he was originally from the Champsosaurus star which wasn’t far from the Yin Sparrow’s ancestral star.

“Chu Feng, do you think you’re invincible? You are too cocky!” berated E’hai. He looked like a big crocodile in human form with a full head of hair and a wide mouth full of fangs. He sneered and said, “He was only lending you a hand. Do you really want to take his life? It seems you don’t put any of us in your eyes. Do you really want to start a war?!”

Chu Feng was very calm and said, “I have always been merciless when facing someone who wants to kill me. Perhaps you want to reason with me in the domain too?”

Reason? With fists and feet or with lances?

Many appeared startled. This one here was indeed resilient and was simply not afraid at all. He was too casual and relaxed.

E Hai went over and helped Zhu Chengkun up. He turned his head and laughed grimly but temporarily refrained from attacking.

Naturally, Chu Feng stared ahead. He didn’t want to completely fall out with this group of foreign creatures from the carefree realm, otherwise, he would’ve already slaughtered Zhu Chengkun a moment ago.

After all, Li Qing the saint child had been saying he wanted to stop fighting. Chu Feng didn’t want to have an acrimonious falling-out at the moment. He wanted to return the favor and give them respect.

At this point, many of his friends were perplexed and deeply shocked. Jiang Luoshen, Qi Honglin, and the others were speechless as Chu Feng’s behavior was far too surprising.

Although they had already heard that he had dared to challenge a saint child in Mount Lu and destroyed his troops, they were still astonished when they saw it for themselves.

Other native evolvers as well as Princess Lin and those at the Origin Magnetic Immortal Cave all felt a tidal surge of emotions and were surprised.

Even Li Qing and Li Lin didn’t dare underestimate Chu Feng and increased his danger level. To one’s surprise, he had managed to lay down domains even when this area had been cleared up.

Suddenly, Chu Feng looked up. In fact, the others could also sense it and looked toward the coast.

At some point, Chen Sheng of the Chen clan on Penglai Island had run to the seaside. A large multi-colored ship was now rushing over with two old men within. In the blink of an eye, they had passed through Black Bamboo Forest and were approaching them with a fierce gale.

The two elders stared at Chu Feng with gloomy expressions, their hearts raging with murderous intent. They had received news that Chu Feng had ambushed an old brother of theirs and burnt him to ashes.

But they were controlling themselves rather well. The elder dressed in purple was called Chen Pu. He suppressed his furious killing intent and spoke calmly, “Chu Feng, like you, we are native evolvers. How could you do such a thing? Originally, we came here today to lay eyes on the heaven’s chosen, but who would’ve thought you had such a ruthless natural disposition. You resort to murder as soon as people utter one word of disagreement. How are you different from a barbaric demon? You have greatly disappointed us. We had wanted to welcome you into Penglai and let you obtain some of the Earth’s most important inheritances. Alas, we treat you as the heaven’s chosen, yet you recklessly trample on our dignity and murder my fellow brother. How harrowing!”

He sighed as he wrung his hands with a pained expression.

Chu Feng looked at Chen Pu, the elder dressed in purple, before looking at Chen Sheng, and said, “Are these the reinforcements you brought along to reason with me? You might as well just enter the domain.”

Chen Sheng’s face turned pale and green. He was triggered when he heard the word reason and was desperate to swallow him whole.

The other elder, Chen Feng, began to speak. “Oh, such pain. Such a heaven’s chosen behaving unscrupulously make us lose hope. Nevermind the fact that you have been starting wars with foreign dao friends, must you also make enemies with other natives? Alas, we originally had so much hope for you, but Chu Feng, you have pained our hearts.” He shook his head in a regretful manner. He sighed lightly and said, “Although we are pained and disappointed, we still want to give you an opportunity to correct yourself. After all, you are young, and we should allow the young make this one mistake. We have all once been young and wild. Come with us to Penglai, and you can reflect upon yourself there for a while.”

The old man appeared kind and compassionate as he expressed his heartache.

Although Chu Feng didn’t want to speak much with them, he didn’t wish to be labeled as an evil person and have right and wrong inverted. Because some people would follow blindly and others might really believe their words if Penglai were to spread this, hence thoroughly misunderstanding him.

With an indifferent expression, he said, “To outsiders, you are cowards and don’t dare to be firm. Yet to native evolvers you have a natural sense of superiority as you consider yourselves to be the main orthodoxy and I, as a servant. Because a servant had set off alone, you have chased me with unicorn chariots and beaten me down when I don’t obey your orders. You wanted to kill me for a long time, yet are now acting pretentious and pitiful. You evidently hate me to death, yet are grieving and lamenting, acting like you’re saving me from fire and water. Is everyone from Penglai this hypocritical? I’d rather meet a real vile character!”

Chen Pu sighed and said, “Young people are always so impulsive. It’s not good to have too fierce a temperament. We really wish you could recognize and atone for your errors, and change your ways. Let’s go, come with us to Penglai.”

Fury spread across Chu Feng’s face. He found these two old men unabashed, shameless, and incredibly hypocritical. With such a vain attempt to take him back to Penglai, they must be trying to dig out the secrets he had in him. The moment they extracted it all, he would no doubt meet a tragic end.

“Rare it is to see people without any sense of shame as you are. Are you not embarrassed?” Chu Feng taunted before turning his head to look at Chen Sheng and said, “These grandpas of yours are still old servants. You should adjust their regional supervision to make them shut up!”

“You’re courting death!” Chen Sheng hated Chu Feng bitterly. He turned and pleaded with the two elders, “We must take him down, and I will personally burn his corpse and scatter the ashes to the winds after we question him!”

“You’re finally tearing down your last loincloth? Shamed into anger? Come on, if you want to kill me, then do it. In all honesty, I was planning to wipe you all out today!”

As he came to the end of his sentence Chu Feng spoke dominantly, not disguising his resolution to kill them.

“You arrogant boy!” Chen Feng couldn’t stand it any longer. His complexion became forlorn and he pointed at Chu Feng.

Chen Pu’s expression also became cold and said in a lecturing tone, “It’s a good thing for young people to be driven, but you have to be adaptive or you will easily offend others. Just because you think your domain attainments are better than others, does it mean you’re unequaled in the whole world and can do whatever you please? You need to know that there are many things you don’t understand in this world. There are many things and people you should revere. Since you are being obstinately persistent, I must take you down today. I’ll show you just how high the sky, how deep the ground is, and you’ll find how superficial and ignorant you are.”

Calmly, Chu Feng questioned, “Did your mother not tell you when you were young? You are so sickeningly fake that she threw up when she gave birth to you!”

“You youngster, how dare you insult me!” Chen Pu became agitated and furious as he couldn’t stand it any longer either. All of a sudden, a murderous temper spread through him, and he couldn’t hide it any longer.

“You’ve finally shed your pretenses,” sneered Chu Feng.

Around him, both native evolvers and those from the outer realms looked at Chu Feng speechlessly as well as in terror. They all fell back as they knew a war was about to break out.

Chen Pu and Chen Feng each produced a small flag and embedded it into the ground, directly quieting down all of the domain fluctuations here.

“Domains mean nothing. Young people are simply too impetuous and lack reverence in their hearts so they easily fall head-first!” Chen Feng said with an icy smile.

Chen Pu followed up, also poised to take down Chu Feng.

However, they didn’t rush to take action.

At this moment, the heavily injured Zhu Chengkun perceived a change within the area. Immediately, his eyes shot out an astonishing beam of light. After taking medication, he had already recovered more than half of his power and was affixing his bones back together.

“Count me in. Let me kill him!” he said coldly. He sourly hated Chu Feng, and if it wasn’t for the domains, he was confident that he could crush the native.

Then he transformed into his true form. He possessed a black red body like a vermillion bird and was suspended in midair as he burned with raging flames.

Chu Feng stared at him. The more he looked, the more Chu Feng thought he looked like the ferocious blood red bird that had been drifting outside the Earth a couple of days ago. He had been suspecting this ever since he used his fiery eyes a while ago.

But Chu Zhengkun’s whole body had a black red color. This showed he had slightly more Yin Sparrow blood in him. The red on him wasn’t as vibrant as the Nine Yin Sparrow’s who was in progress of evolving into a vermillion bird.

“What relationship do you have with the vicious fat bird outside Earth a few days ago?” asked Chu Feng.

“My ancestor—the Nine Yin Sparrow!” Zhu Cheng Kun replied, but his expression was unsightly. Fat?! The Nine Yin Sparrow was evidently majestic and frightening with his body as big as half of the Earth.

He was full of pride. Back then when the Nine Yin Sparrow had conquered this planet, he had slain numerous rebels. In the end, all the native women and children trembled when they caught sight of the Nine Yin Sparrow.

He and Zhu Wuque had set foot on the star passage together to follow the Nine Yin Sparrow’s steps during that time. Walking the very same path, they would start from Mount Zhongnan and kill the rebels on this planet. He wanted to recreate his ancestor’s glory and rise up here.

Chu Feng said indifferently, “As a descendant of one of the most murderous and ruthless heavenly knights, you won’t be leaving here alive today. You’re screwed!”

“Haha, be prepared to throw your life away, you rebel!” Zhu Chengkun surged with murderous intent, his grim laugh ear-piercing.

“Haha… ” E’Hai from the Champsosaurus star laughed. He joined in and said, “The native’s heaven’s chosen. You are truly insolent.”

“Count you in too, come at me!” Chu Feng glanced at him.

At this point, one after another, carefree realm experts from the outer realms showed their desire to kill. They didn’t move, but their eyes narrowed, and a bitter chill pervaded through the air.

This was because there were descendants of heavenly knights among them, as well as some who merely wanted to take Chu Feng’s head and exchange it for the saint bronze seal. But because they had previously reached a “consensus” temporarily, they abstained from attacking.

Chu Feng glanced at those from Penglai, then to Zhu Chengkun, E’Hai, and the other foreign experts. Incredibly unperturbed, he said, “Don’t hesitate to come up if you want to attack me. Bring me one and I’ll kill one, bring me two and I’ll kill two! I don’t mind slaughtering a whole lot of people here. Regardless of who you are, if you dare to come over, I’ll massacre you all!”
