Airavata reacted to Canaria’s question.

“Morgan…… [Morgan le Fay], as in not Goddess Morrigan, but the witch in the Arthurian Legend? The witch that led the Arthurian Legend to its demise?”

“Yes, the witch Morgan. Morrigan was originally a god of Celtic Pantheon, am I right, master?”

“Yeah. Leaving unwanted details aside, she is quite a moderate Goddess of Victory in the Celtic Pantheon. Did you believe she knew about the secret of the Crown Stone?”

“Yes. I had both positive proof and confidence to confirm that. —But before that, I must verify something with God King-sama!”

“With me?”

“Yes. I assumed God King-sama knows something regarding Arthurian Legend?”

God King tilted his head while looking Canaria.

He doesn’t say anything, but it’s clear God King isn’t very knowledgeable regarding Arthurian Legend.

Since their cultural spheres were different. The authority of the God King haven’t reach to the end of the west, though…… But for the time being, he have to tell Canaria anything he knew.

Arthurian Legend――― A legend told by the Poets on the Little Garden of the gods from the far past, and for some reason, was imprinted on the latter half of the 5th Century of the Britain Island, known as the “Void Epoch of History”.

Its state, which is extremely difficult for the method of mankind and the vision of the gods to observe and being a historical territory where pasts of countless diversities can occur simultaneously, are because Britain Island from the 5th Century to the 6th Century lacked accurate historical documents.

The story of Arthurian Legend was the attempt see whether they can guide humanity to a more proper direction by utilizing the countless diversities existed in the “Void Epoch of History”.

The Unification of the Britain Island, the Knights of Round Table and the war against giants, fiends and cannibals.

The numerous stories and heroic sagas later turned into legends that attracted countless humans.

………Yet, the attempt of [to guide humanity to a more proper direction] the gods wished for, didn’t succeed.

Hence, the Arthurian Legend was endowed with numerous Gifts comparable to miracles from the gods and despite being repeated for untold of times on countless timelines……… There was once never an outcome where the gods succeed what they wished for.

The Arthurian Legend will always be ruined when someone of the Knights of the Round Table who are vassals of the king betrayed him.

“……Huh? Are? Arere? (1)”

“What it is, Canaria?”

“It’s nothing, but [will always be ruined when someone of the Knights of the Round Table who are vassals of the king betrayed him]…… The [someone of the Knights of the Round Table], that means there isn’t only a knight with the possibility of betraying the king?”

Canaria asked in surprise.

The Arthurian Legend generally ends with the betrayal of the knight named Mordred.

That is a rule when narrating the Arthurian Legend in Outer Worlds and a “convergence point of history” as spoken from the observation of the gods.

Although Little Garden – the Third Point Observation Universe is where worlds of countless diversities were observed, only this convergence point refuses the notion of diversity.

Though changing the fluctuation between beginning and the end is trivial for historical observation, but changing both of the beginning and the end would alter the very entire history itself.

A reform large enough to alter the foundation of history, that is, the replacement of the opinion of a god, is a major reform that would require either the approval of majority of beings dwell on the realm of 2-Digit or an exceptional miracle created by the once God King. And, both of them aren’t any easy task.

In any case, even if the Arthurian Legend was able to prove its usefulness, in this state where ruination is inevitable, they can only ignore it as one of the myriad pasts of “Void Epoch of History”. In a word, the Arthurian Legend is currently drifting between the truth and fiction.

The God King shook his head lightly,

“At least, that is what my source of information told me. All of this was possible because that is a “Void Epoch of History” possesses countless possibilities…… Isn’t that so, Aira?”

“Usu (2). Because the fact the Void Epoch observed from Little Garden isn’t a single-dimensional entity, but a multidimensional entity. Going by the existing conclusion, all members of the Round Table ――― No, there are two people as exceptions. But, fundamentally, except King Arthur’s brother-in-law and Sir Dagonet, I’ve heard all of them have a reason to betray King Arthur.”

Arere!?, Canaria was taken back by surprise even more.

It seems some kind of calculation she made went south. However, that sort of thing was inevitable. She never thought almost all of the Knights of Round Table have a reason to betray the king.

Canaria once again folded her arms and pondered, she had to revise her thought one more time.

“I was certain the Morgan sisters were avatars of Goddess Morrigan, and they left the Crown Stone to the girls succeeded their name and guided King Arthur…… Perhaps because there were some other primary factors?”

“Huh? Is there a connection between Arthurian Legend and the Crown Stone, Aira?”

“How do I know that? But won’t you find out the more you heard about the Crown Stone? Like the source of the most famous anecdote in Arthurian Legend – [The Sword Chooses the King], that is without a doubt the Crown Stone.”

*Bap*, the God King clapped.

Correct, the ritual chooses the king always come first when speaking of Arthurian Legend.

A ritual where the one draws the sword out according to prophecy shall ascend to the throne.

This is extremely familiar to the ritual uses the Crown Stone – the stone which exclaims the name of the king.

The God King picked up the Crown Stone once more and traced his finger on the crack at the center.

“I see……! I was suspicious about this crack for some time, but this crack could be the trace of a sword struck on it!”

“That’s the point…… Maa, I considered that little girl’s reasoning is 50% correct with this. Long story short, is this the whole story when we explained them by order?”

Aira filled in everything that was confirmed so far to the question presented on the whiteboard.

Question 1. The era where the real Queen Maeve existed is estimated to be around 2500 BC, very different from the era of the Queen Maeve who was portrayed to live around AD.
Answer 1. The contradiction from the difference of eras of two Queen Maeve was the relic of the culture of succeeding a person’s name, and the proof the culture of succeeding a person’s name existed in the Celtic Pantheon.

Question 4. The strange crack that was somehow engraved on the Crown Stone.
Answer 4. It is safe to assume it was from the sword, another vessel prepared for the utilization of the power of the Crown Stone that’s already lost its power in the ritual to choose the king.

Question 5. Where would the descendants of the Druids be if they managed to survive?
Answer 5. It is safe to assume [Morgan le Fay] succeeded the name of Goddess Morrigan and brought the Crown Stone with her to the Britain Island.

“—It’s like this, I guess. If the name [Morrigan] means “Goddess” in the Celtic Mythology, then [Fey] means “Witch” and “Fairy”…… This might be a hidden message saying she is a “witch of the Celtic faction”.”

*Kah kah*, Aira finished filling the answer.

*Oo-*, the God King, Scathach and Croix Baron gasped in admiration and clapped their hands.

They were able to make out consistency for almost every part. There are still unclear points left, but this made clear Morgan is somehow connected to the Crown Stone. This reason is more than enough for them to start their manhunt.

If King Arthur was chosen by the Crown Stone, then the king might be a figure with a deep connection to the [Astra].

If Morgan was the witch directed the death of King Arthur, then [Morgan le Fay] could possibly be connected to Dystopia—

“……Wait, don’t you see it’s strange?”

“Heh?”

“If we assumed [Morgan le Fay] was the woman entrusted with the Crown Stone aka [Astra] and that she succeeded to choose the king by the Crown Stone…… Then why would Morgan had to take the role of destroying King Arthur whom she spent so much effort to choose? As expected, the principle of her actions could have been something opposite to that……”

“Wait, that is the mystery!!”

*Shokin*, Canaria spoke and raised her left hand simultaneously.

Wearing pouted lips, she rested her chin in the hand and continued her words.

“Although ritual of selection ended in peace and ritual of the Crown Stone was a success. However, Morgan rejected its outcome, she eventually manipulated her son Modred to overthrew King Arthur and destroyed his kingdom…… This is a big contradiction for nearly everything that was made clear.”

“Is that so? There are many possibilities she did out of personal grudge, and Morgan also had her motivation for revenge as well.”

“Revenge isn’t impossible, the speculation I got from her motivation should only be the conclusion we have excluded all possibilities. A reasoning that doesn’t fit with reality isn’t reasoning, but merely delusion and prejudice. —Besides, Balor-ojiisan said it before. Only “those with impartial eyes” can expose the secret of the “Enemy of the World”.”

……*Fu-n*?, Aira narrowed his eyes.

If a person reads Arthurian Legend from an objective view, [Morgan le Fey] does have numerous reasons to take revenge on King Arthur and his faction. She and her sisters spent most of their life on a rampage from the deduction that King Arthur is going to be born.

However…… the story that was written, then turned into a book and the historical fact are two different things.

As long as the author isn’t Morgan herself, that person cannot reflect all of his/her feeling as the truth. The reason why that was accepted as a fact, is because the result from Morgan’s action.

Hence, Canaria was worried whether she needs to omit the word [Revenge] or not.

Although she had omitted it from earlier, but the Morgan’s obsession to overthrow King Arthur was undeniable.

She used her magic, her status, the body of a woman…… even manipulated the son she spent so much effort to give birth to. It isn’t a metaphor to say she dedicated everything just to destroy King Arthur by every possible mean. This is what told in legends.

A witch that didn’t wish for her happiness, only consumed her entire life for the sake of defeating King Arthur.

Canaria was wondering if revenge was all of the reason that drove her into taking everything to that far.

“[Morgan is, by all senses, a witch consumed by revenge] — To judge the whole story from that kind of motive isn’t reasoning, but mere prejudice. Let alone now that the fact outside the story is presented and this moment is the time to reconsider the new fact from its origin. Otherwise, if I kept sticking to the old view, that is purely “evil” itself. Not the evil of someone, but the “evil” born from the sake of justifying myself. I would never allow that to happen.”

“Very well. Your opinion is splendid, but I would like you to tell something if possible. Is there a reason other than revenge for [Morgan le Fay] to risk her entire life to defeat King Arthur?”

Aira stared intensely at Canaria as if trying to overwhelm her.

He might has been someone enjoys fooling around, but his essence as a Divine Spirit, a being that imposes trials on others does not change.

Though he did agreed with the reason in Canaria’s words, but on the other hand, her objection is also an immature one with a one-sided reason.

No matter how much her words filled with good intention, that can become a prejudice in the time where assumption and conjecture overlapped on each other and become the “evil” born from the sake of justifying yourself.

If Canaria can come up with a Game Makeup…… can make her reasoning not to contradict her words, he will swear to acknowledge her by the name of Elephant King Airavata.

“Well then, can you please give us your words, whether you can make your reasoning not to contradict with your words or not? Since I am fired up to this extent. You must have prepared yourself a reasoning for that, right?”

“……That is……”

Canaria stumbled at herself.

She has yet to find a fault in his reasoning during her reconsideration. At this rate, the plan to find Morgan would be decided on spot.

Though she had written a rough sketch of important points, but she hasn’t find a reason enough to convince everyone else yet.

(……Calm down, Canaria. This is a question about opinion. You need to observe and revise everything from [Morgan le Fay]’s point of view.)

Morgan was positive and cooperative with the ritual until King Arthur finished the ritual of selection. This is a fact. If not, the whole premise involved the Crown Stone would have went to wasted.

Even if her desire for revenge emerged out of nowhere, she could have concealed it until the decisive moment.

Yet, she changed her course of action as soon as King Arthur finished the ritual of selection.

Then, in short…… was that because the ritual a failure from her perspective?

(……No no, this won’t be enough for me to make an argument! This isn’t fair! This isn’t what master was saying! Since what can overlap on assumption must be fact, not conjecture!)

However, she didn’t go wrong with her direction.

The complete change for the principle of Morgan’s action must be [immediately after King Arthur has drawn out the sword], or that would be inconsistent with everything up to this point.

Yet, regardless what she did, she couldn’t join the fragments of her reasoning. There must has been something that she overlooked.

Was it because there was some sort of mystery hidden by the Druids?
Was it because there was a lack of legends regarding the Crown Stone?
Wast it because there was a change from the new compilation about the Celtic Pantheon?

Or maybe all of them was never sufficient to begin with?

“……Uuh,”

Canaria sunk into silence with a shameful expression.

Airavata showed his disappointment with his sign. But then,

A lone Poet standing on the outside, opened the door of the abandoned house.
