「But, before that, we have to defeat those goblins.」
「You're right.」
「Then, we should think about how we will defeat them, together.」
When Cattleya said that, everyone nodded, except me.
I wanted to go sleep, though.
Also, I couldn't really say that I was sleepy when all of them were this pumped up.
The discussion continued late into the night.
The next day, we got ready to head to the forest to subjugate the goblins.
The four of them were full of energy, though.
I let out a small yawn.
「We will be going now.」
「Please don't try to do the impossible, okay?」
The villagers were there to see us off.
I confirmed the surrounding with detection magic.
One, one, two, two, three, two, and one.
The only problem would be the group of three goblins, huh.
「Yuna-san, how many are there?」
「There are 12 goblins.」
I gave them the locations and the numbers of goblins.
「You know that even without bringing the bears out?」
「Yes. I'm linked with them, after all.」
It would be troublesome to walk while hugging the bears, so I told them that.
「A group of three, huh. For now, we will start with the nearest goblin that is on its own.」
We moved towards the closest goblin, with Marcus at the front, then Shia, me, Cattleya, and finally Timor.
After walking for a while, we found the goblin and approached without alerting him.
「I'm counting on you two.」
They put the plan they had thought up before in action.
Both girls hit the first goblin, and Marcus attacked as planned.
The magicians attacked from the rear, then the warriors or swordsmen rushed in. It worked great especially when they had a healer as well.
I was a magic swordswoman, after all.

We reached an open field inside the forest.
When we arrived, the three goblins were attacking a wolf.

While we were watching the fight, a black shadow arrived and killed all the goblins.

Shia stopped Marcus, who tried to stop me.

I left the other three students to Shia and went to defeat the Black Tiger by myself.
It was huge. It was way bigger than the Tiger Wolf I had defeated before.

It was stronger than I had thought it would be.
It was fast, so I couldn't use golems to attack it, either.
It would have been good if I could at least wound it with the no rope bungee jump from before…
Marcus's POV:
The Bear Girl had said some crazy things.
Didn't she see the Black Tiger in front of her?
I stretched my hand out to stop her, but it didn't reach her, and she left the thicket.
They were huge. Shia said that they were those cubs we saw before and that this was their real size.
I heard a few things about summoned beasts, but this was my first time seeing one.

She said that the Bear Girl would kill the Black Tiger… There was no way I would believe something like that.
The fight was really an unbelievable sight.
「Yuna-san is incredible!」

I asked Shia, who seemed to know more about the Bear Girl.

Yuna's POV:
I knew it, some scratches on the hide were unavoidable. I really wanted a beautiful black pelt, though…
It was fast enough that it was difficult to even make it do a second bungee jump.

There was no helping it. I was afraid of the aftermath, but there was no other way than this.
Did that make it irritated? Since a while ago, it had been groaning with a 「Gyurururu」sound. It seemed very angry with his fangs showing.
The Black Tiger jumped the moment it came behind me. I didn't turn around on purpose, in order to draw that attack out. The moment it noticed I wasn't facing it, it tried to bite me with its strong fangs.
The Black Tiger surely thought that it had won. I thought the same for me.
It bit the White Bear, but I didn't feel any pain.
The Black Tiger bit into the glove with even more strength.
They say, 'Let them cut your flesh, so you can break their bones.' I broke its bones without even getting cut, though.
The Black Tiger's jaw, that was biting me, loosened, and its big corpse collapsed onto the ground.

(TN: Okay, here author used katakana ブラックタイガー (Burakku Taigaa, which souds like black tiger in english) instead of the usual kanji, 黒虎 (kuro tora, black tiger in japanese). For japanese people, the first thing that comes to their mind when they read the katakana version is the Black tiger prawn (also known as Asian tiger shrimp), and not the real black tiger.)
