-Many, many years later-

The room was decorated with flowers white and pink. Beautiful ribbons hung from the ceiling, forming arches and creating a sense of sophistication and elegance. Round tables dotted the room and bright lights lit up the whole place. Guests filled the room, each dressed in formal suits and dresses, looking dashing and beautiful. Pleasant and melodious music played in the background while people softly chatted amongst each other.

Suddenly the lights dimmed and a spotlight focussed on one man. He stood in front of the mic, standing tall and proud. Dressed in a charming black suit with a white rose hanging from the chest pocket, his hair was neatly combed back, eyes narrowed and sparkling with joy. A bashful and cheerful smile plastered all over his face, the man clears his voice and speaks.

"First of all, I would like to thank you all for coming here today. Though many people have told me that I was being too hasty and that I've rushed things too much, this has been the day I've always been waiting for. This girl, from the day I first met her, I knew she was the one. She has always been there for me, through thick and thin and is essentially my sun. She brightens up my world, bringing warmth and love with her. Without her, I don't what I would be. I just know that I love her and want her to forever be mine. And finally, she is."

The guests cheered and whistled at the love struck man. They clapped a thunderous applaud as he stood there with a sheepish grin and looked straight at the closed doors ahead. The doors opened and in came little children, dressed up formally, with expressions so serious that it was adorable. The two children held a basket in each hand filled with pink petals, they grabbed a fistful each and scattered them as they walked in unison down the walkway. Behind them, a man and a woman followed.

The man's face was expressionless but it was gentle, joyful and warm. Beside him was a lovely bride. She was dressed in a long flowy dress, the ends of it dragging along the floor and sweeping the petals as she walked. To match the elegant dress, the bride's long black hair was curled into flowy waves that fell down to her waist, creating a sharp contrast with her white dress. On arm linked with her father, the other holding a bouquet of colourful flowers, the bride looked straight ahead, at nothing other than her groom, her husband.

"Make her happy." Ping shook Dylan's hand firmly and gave him one final reminder before handing his daughter over to him. Dylan nodded and Ping left satisfied. Now there was just bride and groom on stage, looking longingly at each other, tears of joy glistening in their eyes.

"Ahem." Janine elbowed Matthias beside her and reminded him of his task. A gentle smile on his face, Matthias walked onto the stage and prepared to do his role.

"Today we gather to watch this couple exchange their wedding vows in a promise of eternal loyalty and love. Now, do you, the groom, Dylan von Kaiser, have anything you'd like to say to your future wife?" Matthias asked, handing Dylan a box containing two rings.

Dylan nodded and received the box. He took out one ring and gave the box back to Matthias. "Sherry, when we first met, we were two people from two different worlds. You were dragged into mine and I, yours. You shared with me the wonders of your world, and helped me to see the parts of mine that shone brightly and beautifully. Things I never got to see before, I did, thanks to you. In a joy filled world, I will laugh together with you. In a sorrowful world, I will comfort and cry with you. Everything this world has to offer, I promise to share and spend with you and forever cherish our time together. I promise you my undying love."

The guests watched Dylan slide the elegant silver ring onto Sherry's left ring finger and clapped wildly like seals. After the guests finished clapping, Matthias spoke up again, repeating the same thing he did but with Sherry. "Do you, the bride, Sherry Chen have anything you want to tell your future husband?"

"You were always protecting me, your back straight and reliable. But today, I swear to stand beside you, to face the adversity together and support one another through thick and thin. Your happiness is mine and your pain is also mine. As husband and wife, we will love in good times and bad, in sickness and in health. Your life is mine and mine is yours. Till the day I die, my heart will beat for you and always love you."

Sherry slid the ring onto Dylan's hands too, her hands slightly trembling from how nervous she was.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!" Matthias announced gleefully.

Dylan held Sherry's two hands in his own, gazing into her eyes. A smile on his face, he leaned in. Two lips met and a passionate love filled kiss was shared in front of the eyes of many. Feeling Sherry tremble bashfully, Dylan cut it short and cheekily whispered to Sherry in Divian.

"Let's continue later in the bedroom."

Sherry instantly went deep red. She glared at Dylan but he just laughed and continued to tease her.

"Lyn, are you bullying Sherry again~?" A beautiful teenaged boy approached the couple. His hair was white and green and eyes an enchanting blue.

"This is called teasing, Fir." Dylan replied with no shame.

Fir looked at Sherry. There was no distress in her eyes, only shyness and love. He smiled, "Sherry's really red~ ahaha."

"Fir, they're serving the food now~!" Fiona yelled from the kid's table. It was all filled up by the kids, now teens, grown up and more mature but still full of youthful innocence.

"Coming~!" Fir yelled back. He turned to the couple. "Have fun on your honeymoon, Lyn, Sherry. Bring back souvenirs."

"Mm, we will." Fir didn't even wait for his answer before he dashed off to join his friends.

Dylan chuckled and turned to face Sherry.

"I love you."

"Mm, I love you too."

~Afterword~

And that's the end! There isn't much more I want to tell with this story so that is all. Thank you for reading till the end and I hope you liked it. This has been fun for me, though sometimes I got lazy, I really enjoyed writing these chapters and telling the story of these characters.

Starting, I didn't really have much in mind. All I really knew was that this story was about a knight who crossed over to the modern world and his love life with his beloved. The plot was practically non-existent and I just wrote without ever planning ahead causing problems like everyone's favourite FRIENDZONE! Pretty much every chapter was thought of on the day and based off on a singular idea. That was also why it had been so difficult for me to write the ending. I've been meaning to write it for a while now but didn't really know how. I wanted to do a time skip showing their new lives but didn't know how to go about it. That is why I decided to simply write about the wedding and end it like that.

If you are curious though, Dylan went to university eventually and got his teacher's degree. He became a substitute teacher and continued to model of Katjesty. Katjesty also grew in size, becoming a giant in the fashion world. Sherry became a doctor, saving people every day, just like she did when she was in Frin. Janine partnered up with Matthias and created a new company. She allowed Matthias to research whatever he wanted and funded him, selling all his inventions through her company.
