Chapter 1720: Chomp Chomp
Sima You Yue called out Blacky, and that rascal jumped into her embrace while gnawing her arm like how a pet dog welcomed their owner.
She held Blacky’s neck and said in disdain, “You’re not a dog! I’ll throw you into a dog’s meat restaurant if you act like one again!”
Blacky whined as it nodded. Those big round puppy eyes stared at Sima You Yue as if it felt wrong. Of all things, the most she couldn’t bear was this kind of eyes from her beasts.
“Alright, I won’t throw you into a dog meat restaurant.” She sighed, “Try this and see if it works for you.”
She put Blacky down and got Blacky to try to attack the dark spirit stone.
Blacky glanced at her and those black stones as it extended its paw, those dark spirit stone splitted instantly.
“Woof woof woof——” Blacky was excited while it lowered its head and started swallowing one of the dark spirit stones when the smell of the stone spread out.
“Crack—— Crack——”
While everyone was in shock, Blacky quickly ate those dark spirit stones.
It used its paw to break another one as it still wasn’t satisfied after eating one of it, another dark spirit stone was broken into pieces again and it started to chew on it.
A smile tugged on Little Seven’s lips, “This rascal…”
The dark spirit stone’s power had no effect on Blacky when Sima You Yue saw how happy Blacky was eating it so happily as it wagged its tail. With that, it didn’t touch the seal so it didn’t have any effect on Elder White.
“Blacky, try this one.” Sima You Yue carried Blacky to another piece of dark spirit stone as she patted its head.
Blacky shook his tail. Although he didn’t know why Yue Yue changed place, he followed her order and broke the piece that Yue Yue asked for.
At that moment, Sima You Yue could sense that a tremble from the seal as Elder White muttered melancholically.
“Elder White, are you alright?” She asked with concern as she didn’t know Elder White’s condition.
“I’m alright. I felt like something that had stuck in my body was plucked out, it was painful for that moment but it got better after a while.” Elder White responded.
“Mm, it’ll get better after a while. The seal was built up by the hundred pieces of dark spirit stones, but it was only made by ten of the main pieces out of the hundred pieces. Now that we’ve found one of them, we’ll only need to pluck the other nine of it.” Sima You Yue knew it wasn’t going to be as easy as a momentary pain as her voice sounded weaker.
“Nine more times?” Little Seven cried out, “It’s already so painful once, Grandfather White will die of the pain.”
“Blacky has already resisted most of its power, he can’t completely remove all of it.” Sima You Yue couldn’t help it either.
After plucking out the second piece of stone, Sima You Yue got Blacky to stop.
“Go, go and play with Little Seven for a while.” Sima You Yue carried Blacky and flew to the shore to stop it. Otherwise, Elder White wouldn’t be able to take it.
Little Seven carried Blacky from her arms and asked, “How’s Elder White?”
“I haven’t taken a look, he should be fine.” Sima You Yue comforted her, “Let me take a look first.”
“I’ll leave Elder White to you.” Qing Yi said.
“Mm.” Sima You Yue nodded to him and flew back to the roots of Elder White.
“Elder White, I need to sense your condition, don’t hold back on me.” She told Elder White as she put her hands on his branch, inserting spiritual energy to check on his condition after getting Elder White’s response. However, she was unfamiliar with other Plant-type Beasts other than her own contract beasts so she couldn’t find out anything.
She shook her head at Qing Yi, who flew towards Sima You Yue after a moment of silence.
“Qing Yi!” Little Seven shouted in shock and pulled Qing Yi’s clothes subconsciously.
“Stay here.” Qing Yi said as he landed beside Elder White. The power of the dark spirit stones made him so uncomfortable that he frowned.
“Why did you come down?” Sima You Yue asked.
“I can tell Elder White’s condition.” Qing Yi said as he put his hands on the branches and started to check on Elder White’s condition.
“He is much weaker than before.” Qing Yi continued, “We’ve only taken out two, Elder White surely can’t pull through the rest of it.”
“Then he can only rest for now.” Sima You Yue continued, “We’ll see after he rests for a few days.”
Qing Yi shook his head, “Not enough. He can only get a little power everyday if the seal isn’t removed, it’s not even enough for one day.”
“Then…” How?
Before Sima You Yue could speak, she saw Qing Yi shone golden rays of light from his body and imbued his vitality into the Tree of Souls.
“No, Qing Yi, no.” Elder White didn’t allow him to do that, “This will use up a lot of your vitality.”

Sima You Yue looked at Qing Yi as his face became pale with his body trembling, she gripped his arm asking him to stop.
“That’s enough.” She brought him to a pit as his body shook.
“Qing Yi, how are you feeling?” Little Seven threw Blacky away from her embrace and went up to hold Qing Yi.
“I’m fine, let me take a rest.” Qing Yi shook his hands.
Sima You Yue gave him a pill, “This was prepared for the beasts, I’m not sure if it works on you. But I added some Spirit Fluid in it, it should help you to feel better.”
“Thank you.” Qing Yi took the pill and he felt much better.
“Spirit Fluid!” Sima You Yue thought of something and went back to Elder White.
She reached out to touch the branches to feel the vitality of those creases. It seemed like the vitality that Qing Yi gave was not in vain.
“Elder White, since you’re Tree of Souls, the spirit items should be useful to you, right?”
“Yes.”
“Let me try this.” Sima You Yue took out a bottle of Spirit Fluid, she split the tree barks and dripped the Spirit Fluid into it and half a bottle of it was dripped on it.
Elder White then absorbed the Spirit Fluid, many of his branches felt better as a few white leafs bloomed.
“Thank you, it’s been a long time since I felt this good.” Elder White said.
“Seems like it’s useful to you.” Sima You Yue smiled, “So how many times can you tolerate it?”
“With Qing Yi and this, I might be able to tolerate two times.” Elder White saw hope.
“Alright, we shall continue, after this, we shall rest and wait till Qing Yi recovers and we’ll continue.”
“Sure.”
After repeating these steps, Sima You Yue finally removed all the stones after three months. To be exact, it was all eaten by Blacky.
