Warp magic is a type of spatial transition magic. The principles were similar to teleportation, but just on a bigger scale.
As it worked on a bigger scale, it belonged to a category of magic that was harder to use. 7 circle master mages and above were barely capable of doing it, and only 8 circle mages were able to create their formations.
So, as long as it wasn’t a huge city, it was hard to find such a formation. Also, it required a lot of mana to activate, so a long time was needed for it to recharge once used.
So, no one other than rich people or people of high social status could use them much.
Sellion is a large city, and there was naturally a Warp Center. Kyle and the others were currently inside it.
“It feels much colder today.”
Reina, who went with fashion over heat insulation, spoke while shivering.
The spinning axis of the planet of Kornos was also similar to that of Earth at 23 degrees. As such, there were seasons here as well.
From how it was cold in February, this was probably the northern hemisphere.
“Helarion is to the south of here so it won’t be as cold.”
Perelman looked at Reina with eyes filled with worry.
Yeah, you should have worn thicker clothes…. Sheesh, these father and daughter duo really staked their lives in fashion.

Kyle was taking out various living necessities and artifacts for Abel for quite a while now.
“Oh, this is an artifact magic pouch that has subspace magic cast on it. You should be able to put about 500 kilograms of things here.”
It was a small pouch made with silk. The size was around of hip sacks that old ladies liked to use. As always, there was the black swan marked on it.
Subspace magic allowed for storage of items in a space where time did not flow. It was a 7-circle magic, and such artifacts usually couldn’t be bought even with money. This was a precious artifact.
“This is a communication orb, and you must speak with this old man for at least an hour a day, okay? …And do some calculations while you’re at it….”
His true objective is probably the latter one.
“This is a bracelet for protection, and if you are met with danger, take it off and throw it.”
Kyle took out stuff from his own subspace and put it inside Abel’s magic pouch.
“Oh, this is also for protection, and only in the most dire situations should you kiss the ring.”
It was a very feminine ring. He felt as though his dignity as a man would degrade if he wore it, but he endured it because of Kyle. He wore it on the left ring finger. Perhaps due to it being sized for a lady, it fit perfectly.
“What else was there…….”
Kyle started rummaging through his subspace again.
Just the things he put inside the pouch already almost filled up the pouch.
Abel couldn’t endure anymore and shouted.
“Hey, I’m not being sent off to war here.”
It was just like how mothers tried to pack more stuff for their son.
Even with two hands full, parents would still want to give more.
“Hahaha, then contact me again when you need anything. I will send it to you right away.”
Kyle felt exactly like that.
Well, he probably wouldn’t be able to use half of the stuff in here before the first semester ended.
“Thank you. Old man will have a hard time earning all that money, so I’ll get scholarship for sure!”
Hey, these were 8th graders. Losing to them? Not possible.
Abel looked down on the Academy too much.
“Then let’s go!”
Urged Reina. She looked really cold from her shivering.

“Oh yeah! You forgot the most important thing!”
Abel clicked his fingers as though he just thought up of something important.
“What is it?”
He should have gave him everything, and thought about what he could have possibly missed.
“Money! The capital is 3 times as large as Sellion. Then there should be just as many restaurants… and the prices will be higher too… and there are things to buy before the entrance and… you know…….”
“Hahahaha. For money, you can ask Perelman.”
Abel turned around to Perelman.
“I have left Reina with the expenses. She shall take care of you. Please get it from her.”
Spoke Perelman firmly. He had an expression that looked like he would never give any money to Abel.
“Why did you give it to her and not me?”
“It’s all because we are worried about you, so don’t be so disheartened. Just don’t cause any troubles while you are there. Remember the duke’s face. You being insulted means the duke is being insulted.”
“……? Just what do you see me as? I might have gotten hit because I acted proud, but I never caused any accidents!”
Abel complained.
‘I’m taking that top spot for sure.’
Perelman smiled lightly while looking at Abel.
The poker face Perelman smiling means that it was a joke. Though, Abel couldn’t think that far.

“Hey! Let’s go now!”
It was Reina. She was almost getting vexed from the cold.
“Yes. Go. You’ll be late.”
Finishing his words, Kyle activated the warp formation.
Viiin.
The surrounding mana gathered as the magic formation activated. Due to the sudden ripples in mana, the ground started shaking.
Shshsh.
The mana gathered into the magic formation turned blue. Then, it dissipated into the air.
As it sped up, Abel’s vision started blurring.
“Oh, there’s something I forgot to mention. The first time you warp…”
Fwoosh.
Someone seemed to have spoken something…
But before those words ended, the warp magic was complete.
Flash.
The capital of Hela empire; Helarion Warp Center. On top of it, a boy and a girl popped out.
“Blergh!”
The sudden sensation of nausea started to make Abel vomit.
“Bleeeeergh!”
He vomited, but, nothing came out since he ate nothing.
So this was why they stopped him from eating this morning… so meticulous.

Reina tapped his back.
“Everyone does that on their first warp.”
Reina looked completely fine. She seemed to be experienced.
If there was a car sickness patch at least.......
He thought back to the freshman welcome ceremony for college. He was dragged by his seniors until the 3rd round! They said it was makgeoli (rice wine) plus pajeon (Korean type of pancakes) for the rain and he drank the rice wine for the first time! He forgot about everything and when he woke up with a hangover in the morning….
The worst kind of hangover, the rice wine hangover! It was just as bad as that.
“Whew… I almost crossed river Styx…….”
“Are you okay now?”
“Yeah. Let’s go. We have things to buy, don’t we?”
Abel became slightly better and spoke as he stood up.
“Okay, then let’s go get our uniforms measured first. It’s still cold in the south… Perhaps it’s because it’s still late February.”
Reina wrapped her arms around her body as she felt cold.

Abel took off his coat and threw it to Reina.

This guy. He might look cool.

Abel was momentarily confused for a moment, and started going through the situation again in his head. Looking at the clean uniform, they seemed to have been just tailored. Then, that meant that these were new students as well.

Reina grabbed Abel’s arm.
“Don’t cause an accident and just come….”
Biting her lower lip, she whispered to Abel.
“What are you doing. Let’s go. Goel.”
The grey-haired student at the front of the group spoke. He seemed to be the boss of this particular group.
“Yes, young master. …Consider yourself lucky today! You should thank young master Sibelius.”
After saying that, the group rushed outside.

Abel couldn’t endure his anger and shivered.
